Great stay

Great spot for our 4 day getaway! It was fantastic to have Private pool and hot tub. Neighborhood was quiet and we felt safe. We would stay here again.

Four friends celebrating a retirement-The house and pool were perfect. Close to downtown, Sunnyland, Aerial Tram, and Joshua Tree National Park. Demuth Park a few blocks away. Mike was a good host.

Annual family vacation

Mike is a wonderful host. The house is nicely equipped with everything you need, it's cozy comfortable and i just love the layout. The pool is the star and I love the primary bedroom. Showers have good pressure and i like that two of the bedrooms don't have TVs. Forces family movie night every night. We've been coming to this same property every year for the past 6 years.

Nice stay close to Downtown Palm Springs

The house was very nice and well equipped. Even though close to the airport it was quiet. It was nice to have the hot tub and pool heated. The hot tub is small but we made it work.

Nice house with a hot tub

The house was great for a family, as it has three bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Our family likes to read instead of watching TV, so the lighting in the living room was not adequate. Nearby Prescott Preserve was a great place for walking.

Good Location, Nice House

Great location near the airport and downtown in a safe and attractive neighborhood. We came for the Indian Wells tennis tournament and it was about a 35 minute drive. The house was well laid out and good for our group of 4. The hot tub and pool were relaxing. Plenty of towels and the pantry was well stocked. The rental does need a deep cleaning, especially the spacious garage and the cluttered kitchen drawers. But otherwise, we would recommend it.

Great Place for a Small Group

This well-located home has everything for a couple friends to enjoy a nice week together. The heated pool and spa were welcome any time of day, and the overall comfort of the house provided a place to relax and hang out. Quick drives to grocery shopping, local restaurants and downtown. The communication with the homeowner was excellent. A great value!

Love this house

Great House in a great location just a few minutes drive from DT Palm Springs. The property has a nice pool that we spent a lot of time in and the cost to heat it is far more reasonable that other properties. I would definitely like to see a better bed but this property still gets 5 stars

Family stay

Great host with quick communication. House was home base for family of 5, visit for friend's wedding. Convenient location, quiet neighborhood, and pool was great. More than enough space for 5, and nice kitchen plus living room for family time.

Excellent location

This was a nice clean house in a great Palm Springs location. The pool did have an equipment issue but it was quickly resolved by the property owner. It was a good value for the price we paid.

Palm Springs getaway

Great getaway with private pool and quiet neighborhood. There is a Park and golf course nearby for morning walks. If you want to getaway just to relax this is the place for you. Mike was very detailed with the whole process and his place is very well stocked with all you need.

Quiet Neighborhood

The home was as you see in the photos. Pool was delightful for cooling off. The owner was very responsive to any inquiries. We didn’t cook at home much, so the limited cookware was not a problem.

I love this house; it has everything we need for memorable family vacations. This is probably my 6th time renting here. The pool is beautiful and relaxing and the master bedroom is my favorite! LOVE the ensuite bathroom in there. But it is always stocked with everything you need. Boardgames, dishes, and cooking staples in the pantry. Just perfect

Gas leak

But the second morning there was a very strong natural gas smell in the garage and the area in between the house and garage. I notified the host and he said he had a ha dyman fix a leak earlier and would come back sometime to check it out. We ended up having to call the gas company to turn the gas off since we were very concerned with our safety. We had no hot water or cooking capabilities for the rest of our stay. Perfect Palm Springs Getaway

We try to stay here at least once a year. Our kids have dubbed this their summer vacation house. They live in the sparkling pool from sun up to sundown. The house is well-equipped and comfortable for short-term stays. It is close to shopping and has plenty of amenities and comforts for the whole family to enjoy. I always find pantry staples like cooking oil, pancake mix, and ketchup, so I pay that forward and add to it for the next guests. It also has pool toys and floaties, and there is even sunscreen. Trust me; you'll need it! If you book this house, please keep that tradition and leave it better than you find it and take care of our summer house :-) My only criticism is I couldn't find more blankets for snuggling on the couch. There are plenty of sheets, and we made that work, but it could use some nice throw blankets.

Mike was professional, polite and was prompt whenever I had any questions or concerns. The house is just as advertised. The brand new appliances and having the house super stocked with consumables was a massive plus. Being able to use the garage, which is usually not the case with most rentals, was a huge bonus especially in the summer months. The pool is more like a wading pool. At 5'9", I can stand flat footed at the deepest point and the water is up to my neck. The neighborhood was quiet and there's a 5 minute walk to a park/playground if you have kids. Great rental, would definitely recommend!

Well Equipped with a Great Pool

This house had everything you need for an enjoyable stay. Pros: #1 Well stocked home. It included everything from dishes, pots, and pans, spices to cook with, complimentary bottled water, linen, towels, board games, etc. #2 Beautiful modern decor #3 Comfy master bed #4 Modern appliances #5 Smart home (RING doorbell & Nest thermostat), made check-in and out simple, easy, and contact-free. Cons: *Disclaimer I am a first-time Vrbo user so this may be standard, I was just unfamiliar with some of the rules & extra charges a homeowner might ask. I understand these rentals are people's homes so they expect you to take care of them but I have never thought to clean on a vacation. Being a mother, that is one of the main things to look forward to NOT having to do while on vacation. Cons: #1 House rules stated we must keep the house tidy, do the dishes and wash and dry towels we use in the washer and dryer. I didn't really like that given cleaning fees are extra, I expected cleaning like doing the dishes from the last day and laundry to be included with the cleaning service. #2 The communication from the Owner. I felt it was a little generic. Although he stated in the house rules that if we needed flexible check-in or out time that all we had to do was let him know so he could let the cleaning person know but when I asked for an hour and a half so that we would not have to do virtual school from the road he responded with the check out time a cut and paste from the house rules and reminded us to do the dishes and launder the towels. the cleaning rule was pointed out a minimum of 3 times, so it felt a bit pushy. Also, it costs extra if you want the hot tub to be heated. This may be standard practice but it should be included in the listing and not sprung on you 2 days before your arrival. #3 All but two of the pool noodles were old and crumbling, and the floating toys all had holes and were unusable. That needs an upgrade. #4 The pillows, and comforter in the master bedroom smelled heavily of perfume (not fabric softener or laundry additives) which suggests it is not washed between stays. And there were long blonde hairs in the blanket just below the comforter. So in the age of COVID, this kind of creeped me out. Especially with him asking me to clean as many times as he did you would expect the house to immaculate. Other than the minor cons, the house was great. I would stay here again now that I am fully aware of the cleaning expectations on my part.

I have lived in LA since mid 80s and enjoyed the sunny weather. The desert offers even better weather which can be great when I can play tennis! I play recreationally and enter into a couple of tournaments in Palm Springs.
