Nestled amongst our private Leelanau County hardwoods, you can find your private, relaxing getaway. This cozy studio-style cabin is just for those seeking to escape the stressful daily grind.

When you enter the private two-track across from our friendly neighbor's house at 10480 S. Center Hwy until you depart, this will be your home away from home. The entrance will take you between two metal eagles.

This charming little cabin features a fully stocked kitchen, handmade furniture, accents, and a king-size bed. The pristine bathroom features clean, easy-to-use amenities, including a sliding-glass walk-in shower. From the living room area, a modest, closed-in porch offers beautiful wooded scenery and a quaint bistro set where you can enjoy a bottle of complimentary Leelanau County wine.

The cabin is conveniently located near many activities, restaurants, and beaches. The TART trail is approximately 1/2 mile from the cabin, with Traverse City and Suttons Bay nearby. The nearest local winery is a short 2-minute drive north, deeper into Leelanau Peninsula wine country.

Whether you desire comfortable solitude while staying in the cabin or prefer exploring the unique sites and activities the area offers, it's up to you. We know you will enjoy staying at our Cozy little cabin.

Great cottage located right next to bike trails. Very quiet and secluded. The property is well managed and the cottage had everything we needed for our stay. We will return.

Amazing property! I can’t say enough about how wonderful the stay and the hosts are. So close to the TART trail and short drive to downtown Traverse. Easy trip up to Suttons Bay and wineries.

We love where our cabins are located. Close to the bike/walking trail, Traverse City, wineries and breweries, and restaurants, yet so secluded you would think it was far from anywhere. We are happy you had a wonderful stay. Please come back again, as we would love to have you as a return guest.

The Cozy Cabin in the woods, is exactly that! Modern, very clean and peaceful! We took the little hike up the trail and enjoyed the view from the top! The cabin is beautifully decorated and makes you feel at home. Highly recommend and we will return!

We’ve stayed at the both the Cozy Cabin & French Country cabin multiple times, because we love them so much! The only downside is that our expectations are super high after staying at such a clean, perfect place. Beth thinks of all the details, down to an umbrella for the occasional rainy day. Thank you Beth & Terry for another fabulous stay. We hope to be back this winter for some snowshoeing.

Another wonderful stay with Beth and Terry. It's so nice to be able to walk in and just put your things away and start your vacation without a worry or concern. Also, so very clean and fully stocked with more than you could ever need. Beth and Terry's communication is beyond wonderful. We really always enjoy our stay here. From the comfy bed to the well stocked kitchen, to the wonderful bikes to explore the trail on, every need is met. This year we brought our two newly married sons and their wives and our first grandchild and had a wonderful stay in all three cottages/cabins. It worked perfectly.Always will be our go to when coming home to Michigan, because when we stay with Beth and Terry it feels like HOME!

We absolutely loved our stay at the cozy cabin. Beth was a wonderful host and very easy to communicate with. She went above and beyond to make sure we had everything that we needed for our stay along with a sweet card and some local goodies. The cabin was adorable and we felt like we were at home. We will for sure be back!

This is the way to host a property! Clean, charming, short and easy instructions, and no surprises. Never had to contact them but I’m sure they would’ve come running to help . Coffee on the enclosed porch in the morning, listening to the birds singing.. 10/10.

Great location and great hosts

Hosts include little gifts from local wineries and shops that make it feel very customized to their guests. We have stayed twice and will definitely be back!

Beautiful setting in the woods, trail on property, bike riding distance to Farm Club, friendly and responsive owners, and the cleanest place I’ve ever stayed!

Terry and Beth have been married for over 20 years. Terry was born and raised right here in Leelanau County in the property adjacent to the cabin entrance. Beth grew up in Charlevoix, MI, and was raised on a dairy farm. They met in Traverse City and decided to make their permanent home in beautiful Leelanau County, close to where Terry grew up. They both have a love of nature and the outdoors.

Terry purchased the property over 30 years ago and fell in love with the woods. After many years of enjoying the property he owned, he decided it was time to share its beauty and build this small cabin.
