LV4 Large Basement Apartment for Zion Homebase

This large basement apartment has everything you need including a private entrance.

Large well lit downstairs apartment with all the comforts in a beautiful setting.
This basement apartment is very light and open, features 9 ft ceilings, and is approximately 1700 sq. ft. The unit is accessed through an exterior private entrance and a keyless entry system.

It has 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom, a full kitchen and large family room.

The bedroom has a king sized bed and walk-in closet. There is a queen bed in the family room, separated by a privacy curtain.

The kitchen is fully equipped with a refrigerator, microwave, stove, oven and many small appliances including a waffle iron and mix. A BBQ is located on the back patio for you to use as well.

For your convenience, Wi-Fi is also provided.

NOTE: Children are welcome but must not be left unattended in the yard. A creek runs through the back of our property and can be quite dangerous during thunderstorms.

About two weeks before you arrive, you will receive an email with the driving directions and the keyless entry code so that you can get in without having to meet up with anyone.

Your host is available by Airbnb chat, live chat text, phone and the caretaker is always close by.

La Verkin is a small town located about 20 minutes from the entrance to Zion National Park. We have a grocery store, a couple of gas stations and an excellent coffee shop. We are located next to Hurricane, which has a Walmart, movie theater, restaurants and more. If you need more than that, St. George is about 25 minutes away.

You will need a car to get around. We have plenty of parking.

Check-in instructions are sent via email and text two weeks before arrival.

The basement apartment was light and spacious. The beautiful setting in a neighborhood below towering red rock cliffs was so beautiful. Everything was seamless and we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay.

Great spot for visiting zion

Had a great experience here. The place was spacious and clean. About 30 mins to Zion and the nearby towns have plenty of variety for food and necessities. Overall very satisfied.

Large, relaxing place to stay

We very much enjoyed our stay here. The drive to Zion each day was minimal, weighed against all the extra space and the cooking facilities in this VRBO. The hosts responded promptly to one small issue we had with the television.

A Perfect Stay

This apartment is spacious, light, very clean, and comfortable. The owners have thought of every detail to make the stay perfect, like a welcome sign with chocolates, a guest book with information, a shampoo and soap dispenser in the shower, a full length mirror, tables and lights on both sides of the bed, a waffle maker complete with pancake and waffle mix, and much more! The place is convenient to a grocery store, Zion National Park, and Red Cliffs State Park. Highly recommended!

Good stay!

Overall very pleased with our stay! The location is about 30 minutes to Zion National Park and 20 minutes to Kolob Canyon. Grocery store and restaurants are close by. We liked the coffee and food at River Rock Roasting Company. Bed was comfortable. Access and instructions were great. Only one thing to note which is also in the listing, you can hear the people upstairs so if you are bothered by that you might want to bring a sound machine or earplugs to muffle the noise while you sleep. I would definitely recommend this location for your stay!

Trip to explore Zion

My husband and I wanted to hike The Narrows and Angles Landing. Bucket list items. They didn’t disappoint. The rental was roomy, clean, quiet, and had everything we needed. Very home-y feeling. Not cluttered. Drive to the park was 20 min give or take. Thank you to our hosts.

Great landing place for Zion

I want to start by saying that Monica was great to deal with. We were unable to get our walk-up permit to stay overnight in Zion and contacted her to book the unit. While the site would not allow us to book same day Monica was able to get us booked. The unit was just as described and was perfect for our overnight stay. We had to be in Zion for 6:00am and we had a short drive to Zion. There was plenty of space for us to prep for our Zion visit and b/c it was downstairs we didn't bother anyone going in and out. I would recommend this unit for anyone wanting to stay outside of Zion at a reasonable price. I would stay here again if given the chance to.

Thanks so much for staying with us. We were glad that we were able to accommodate you on such short notice. I am sorry you were not able to get your permit. We are actually building some bunkhouses at the moment which are basically hotel rooms with no bedding for people who find there is no place to camp. They have TV, Wifi, full bath, fridge, AC, mattresses etc. and then you bring your own sleeping bags. Each room will sleep up to four. They are built in pairs with a connecting door if your group has up to eight people. We hope you can come and stay with us again and glad our place fit your needs.

Zion

Decided on this property for its location by Zion NP. Great space for a couple or small family. Comfortable with plenty of light even though it is a basement! Plenty of outdoor space and walking trail just down the road.

As a host, you will likely not see me. I live in this property, but we figure people are not coming to this part of the world to see me. We use a keyless entry system and give you the code to get in. Having said that I am interested in hearing back from you about your experience and how we can better serve you.

When we built our home, we built more home than we needed. We wanted a nice place for our family to come and visit, so we finished the basement area. Now that it is finished we figured we might as well share our space with others who are interested in seeing Zion, but do not want to be crowded and would rather fix their own meals.

We have a beautiful yard that backs up to La Verkin Creek. There is wildlife there some shade when you need it. We have a barbecue that you are free to use. Make yourself at home!
We have other vacation rentals and you could plan your visit to use more than one if you have having a large group come.
