The Solaris Suite is the main floor of the Salish Sea Beach House B&B it boasts ocean views from every room. (we call it paradise)
800 Sq ft of private tranquil open concept living. Lotus flower front door.
Newly redone original oak floors and beams.
A fruit bowl, bread, granola, milk, cream, butter, yogurt and a well stocked kitchen, custom mahogany cabinets, fridge, convection/microwave oven, kitchen basics to get you going.
One bedroom is separated by Shoji screens and has a custom mahogany queen size bed with floating night stands, Bamboo mattress, Luxury Bedding, Quality egyptian cotton sheets, Room darkening blinds. Cable TV, Netflix, Prime and WiFi.
Gorgeous Bathroom with safety in mind, adjustable hight shower, raised profile toilet, Plush Turkish bath towels and robes, deep soaker tub, In-floor heating.
Living room has a comfortable sofa bed (double) for extra guests (2 max) and a Single chair and a half sofa bed (sleeps 1)
BBQ, Private beach, English Garden, Private entrance, Free guest parking.
This spectacular property is divided by Lochside Dr. and while the Beach House itself
is situated across the road from the Salish Sea there is 10,000 square feet of park like property with walk on beach access for you to explore. The ocean side has two levels, both levels have large picnic tables for your enjoyment. The lower level is accessed via the driveway and gives you direct access to the beach and is for the exclusive use of Salish Sea Beach House guests. I am sorry but the Solaris Suite is not pet friendly.

Beautiful property. The suite was well appointed, clean, and very comfortable. Beautiful garden out back with lots of comfortable seating to relax and unwind. Beach is very nice with beautiful views. Shelley our host was very friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay again.

This is a spacious and very clean suite with recently updated bathroom and kitchen areas. Shelley provided us with wonderful breakfast items-with a nicely stocked fridge. The location is excellent with the private beach across the road, and very close to town. Plus it is a very quiet area.I can highly recommend this VRBO!

Our experience with Shelley and this property was nothing but wonderful!! She was an attentive host without being over-bearing, kept everything clean and very homey. We would strongly recommend anyone staying here!! Loved the Salish Beach House.

Salish Sea Beach House was very clean and the bed was amazingly comfortable. We could have used some jam for our bread with breakfast, but otherwise it was well stocked.

Salish Sea B and B is an oasis of enjoyment and tranquility. Situated on the water in beautiful Sidney BC, the property has multiple areas where guests can relax and take in the natural surroundings. Shelley’s Salish Sea Beach House is magical. The decor feels like a (really nice!) home. Well appointed with lots of great details like shampoo, a wardrobe to hang your clothes, 2 umbrellas, coffee, tea, fresh fruit, all the dishes and cooking tools you need, comfortable bed, cozy seating area, beautiful artwork, lots of books, a private area to sit by the Sea. Intriguing back yard. Shelley, the host, is terrific - super nice and very knowledgeable of the area. Depending on the time of year and time of day the road can be quite busy, but that’s the only downside. We’d stay there again & we really enjoyed it!

Our hostess was incredibly welcoming and generous. She met us at the door and helped us get set up. Her place was immaculate and well-provisioned! She was always around without being intrusive or in our way, as her residence is upstairs. Her beachfront access and backyard garden are worth the visit alone. Wonderful stay!

Our host, Shelley was wonderful! The place was absolutely spotless and the kitchen very well appointed with sharp knives! Beds were incredibly comfortable and nice soaps in the bathroom. So much attention to detail in the decor, both inside and in the garden. A really beautiful place to stay. Close to downtown Sidney and a right at a beautiful beach. Great for sunsets. We loved it.

Very close to beautiful coastal towns to explore, as well as ease to visit Victoria.

Great Stay
We had a great stay. The location is very convenient. The room was very clean and well appointed with lots of little touches.

A lovely base as we visited many family members
Great location, great art work leading to a very comfortable stay. And heated floor in the bathroom!

This was such a perfect spot. Very close to town with beautiful beach access and an easy walk into Sydney. Very comfortable bed, and lots of thought pit into amenities stocked in the suite. I would definitely stay again!

We had a peaceful and relaxing stay at Shelley’s beautiful Salish Sea property. She warmly welcomed us at the front door and helped us get settled. Shelley had a bowl of local fresh fruit, granola, and a loaf of sourdough available, along with tea and coffee. The ocean views each day were stunning and we just popped out the front door to go for long walks along the oceanfront. The interior of this home is appointed with such love and care, and everything was spotless. My husband and I loved the cosy seating in the living room, the antique furniture, and the stunning artwork (which includes some of Shelley’s own photography). We also loved walking out back in Shelley’s garden which is a magical place with so many treasures sprinkled throughout. You are guaranteed to love your stay at this special home in Sidney by the Sea!

Girls trip!Great central spot for exploring the area. Shelley was so kind and helpful. The ocean is right across the street with a private sitting area and beach.

Wonderful retreat
Beautiful well kept studio on the ocean, modern amenities, immaculate gardens and a wonderful private beach
