I couldn't ask for a better view of the ocean, just right out there beyond the balcony. The places was spacious and clean. Well equipped with dishes, glasses, cooking gear. Response by host to messages was fast.

Check-in process pretty quick & smooth. Assigned parking spots are pretty tight, but there is open parking close by, in case you have a large rental car. Inside dining room table has only 4 chairs, so if a party of 6 (like us), not enough seating. We paid for party of 6, but not enough toilet paper for more than 3 days. Apparently they only supply a starter kit. There is a good size grocery store very close to unit, and prices reasonable.All decor is extremely outdated, and definitely too much of it on the walls. Inside fake plants have a huge layer of dust in them.Downstairs king bed is comfortable, but downstairs twin beds are hard as rock. Master-bath hairdryers have issues. Purple hair dryer only works if partially plugged in. The other hair dryer actually sparked and threw out a piece of its ceramic inside when attempting to use. A big fire hazard. There is a toothbrush holder in master bath that is very dirty on inside. There is no way to take lid off to clean, so definitely would get rid of it, or store in owners closet.Found a used/dirty washcloth in downstairs hallway bathroom cabinet. Toaster & toaster oven not cleaned out from prior guests.There were 2 beach chairs, 4 camp chairs, 1 operational beach umbrella, 2 pool noodles and some boogie boards in lanai closet.Dryer takes almost 2 hrs to dry 1 load. Suspect dryer vent issue. Fire hazard if that’s the issue.We cannot recommend this condo. View was amazing though.

Awesome Condo Awesome Location

I can't say enough good things about this condo. The location itself is breathtaking with uninhibited ocean views in all directions with waves crashing on the rocks below. Just sitting on the lanai watching the boats, outriggers, dolphins etc. while listening to the waves was magical. There is always a nice ocean breeze as well making working or sitting on the lanai for hours wonderful. The condo itself is great. Totally clean and well appointed with everything that you will need during your stay. Plenty of cooking gear for meals at home, beach chairs and floats in the closet on lanai, and extra beach towels in the laundry closet if needed. The beds are really comfortable as well. My wife and I were there alone the first week, and were joined by another couple the second week. We never felt crowded or cramped at all as the condo is large. Overall, the condo set up was ideal for our 2 weeks in Kona. Mark, the owner, is also a great guy. He communicates with his guests to make sure that their stay is excellent. We only wish that we could have stayed longer. Highly Highly recommended!!

Perfect condo for our family trip! Amazing ocean view from the lanai. Storage area stocked with beach gear came in handy. A/C worked well. Bathrooms a bit out-dated, but worked for us. The grounds are beautiful and well-maintained. Loved the ocean pool at sunset. We will return!

Recent stay

Everythink that was needed was at this condo. There was everything that was needed at the beach was at the condo, from 3 umbrellas, to at least 4 beach chairs, to 5 beach towels. When I stay, I like right in front of the ocean, this condo provided it, we had great sunsets everynite. I recommend this condo to everyone.

Beautiful view and a comfortable home

Easily accommodated 3 couples. AC worked well, the view off the lanai was beautiful and the condo complex had very well maintained ammenities. I would definitely recommend!

Amazing stay

Amazing location, clean facilities and easy check in/out. Calm and beautiful resort and the view from this unit is out of this world. Best sunset on the balcony! We even saw dolphins!!! Master is spacious bathroom as well. Decor is very rustic and « vacation vibes » ! Would rent again in a heartbeat. (Family of 6)

A great place to stay!

Check in/out was so simple. We loved staying here, close to restaurants, grocery and gas stations. The view from the lanai was stunning anytime of day, especially the sunsets. We saw outrigger canoe groups daily and dolphins every morning. This condo is right on the water, just the right size for group, we will definitely stay here again! Loved all the amenities, we did pay extra for a/c.

Love it

Me and my 2 young adults had a great time at Kanaloa 2004. Not sure if I missed it in the details, but the 3d bedroom is actually a loft. Condo had everything we needed plus some leftovers over various things that was nice. The patio view is nearly indescribable.

Beautiful view

Spacious condo with room for family of 4 to spread out, beautiful view from the lanai, well appointed kitchen, very clean. Our only issue was that the refrigerator ice maker was not working, which was a little inconvenient, but ultimately not a huge problem.

5 star location

Spacious condo perfectly situated with a lanai overlooking the sunset and pounding waves. The development is away from the noise, between downtown Kona to the north and Captain Cook attractions like Two Step and Puʻuhonua o Hōnaunau to the south. Manta ray snorkeling trips depart from around the corner on Keauhou Bay. I decided to stay here despite one negative review, and I"m happy I did - the dryer vent and jacuzzi problems have been corrected. There is beach equipment in the closet (small cooler, chairs, umbrella, boogie boards, water shoes and snorkel gear) and board games to keep you entertained. Plenty of room to spread out or gather in a big group. Super comfy beds including four twin size beds for the kids to have their own. Would stay here again.

Perfect Hawaii Experience

Property was exactly as described. Beds and furnishings were very comfortable. We did opt for the A/C but didn't always use it. Sitting on the lanai was heaven - listening to waves crashing, watching whales and dolphins and mainly escaping Montana winter!

Didn't have enough time to enjoy all the amenities!

Our week was very comfortable staying in this condo! Beautiful, quiet, big and airy is the best description. The kitchen was well stocked with utensils. We were glad to find that two baby gates were there to keep our great grandson away from the stairs. The only glitch was the loft bed, two twins pushed together to make a king. It was solved with a topper. Our added bonus was spotting a whale from the deck one morning. Listening to the waves lulled us to sleep at night. A very nice getaway!

Comfortable, Spacious, Amazing Views!

This was our first time traveling to Kona HI and we are so thankful we found this condo. We had 4 adults and a 2.5 year old. Very spacious, parking spot, fantastic balcony on top of the ocean. We saw dolphins outside the lanai daily with gorgeous sunset views. Very quiet complex with 3 pools (ocean pool was our favorite). Conveniences and grocery store just up the street. 15 min drive to the downtown Kona area. Weather was impeccable. Very warm but the shady lanai with a fan was very comfortable. Will be staying there again.

Beautiful Location and Great Condo

To start, we just want to thank the owner, Mark, for being so responsive. The housecleaner was also incredible and was available at check in to quickly wash over the floors for us, which was very kind of her to be available on a Saturday afternoon. Saying that, the unit is very beautiful. The lanai and the view from the lanai was just amazing. We spent a lot of time just relaxing out there. The location is a little away from Kona proper, but for us it was perfect. The complex has three perfect pools, although we spent most of our time at the Ocean pool. Beautifully maintained complex that was very nice to stroll around with our young child. The unit comes very well stocked with all cooking essentials. I read some complaints about the furniture but we didn't have a problem with any of it. The couches made squeaking noises when you sat down, but we felt the decor was perfect for a Hawaiian vacation. Check-in was smooth, and as I wrote earlier, the owner was so responsive throughout it was very nice. We had a very pleasurable stay and would for sure recommend this place to anyone and we are already looking forward to heading back soon. Only thing to note that isn't a negative but we wish it was stated in the description (it may have and we just missed it), is that while this units living area is mostly flat, you do need to walk up a flight of about 20 stairs to enter the unit. We traveled with my father who is 84 so he was able to manage it but it could be difficult for othe

Comfortable condo with gorgeous view

The condo had everything you need for a comfortable stay. It had games, books, beach gear and a well stocked kitchen. The condo complex is well maintained and the view of the ocean is stunning

Beautiful Condo

The condo had everything we needed and the view was amazing. Enjoyed spending time on the lanai every morning with our coffee and drinks in the evening for sunset. Mark was very responsive to all our questions. Highly recommend!!!

Beautiful Spot

We really enjoyed our stay at the condo. It’s a beautiful spot with a lanai right above the water. The only thing we were surprised by is that there was not enough toilet paper for our stay.

In need of a lot of maintenance

Seemed clean enough. Outdated. Furniture was very uncomfortable. Kitchen counter tops were a little sticky. Jacuzzi tub in Master Bath leaked. Toilet exhaust fan in master bath either had no switch or didn't work if it was interlocked with the light switch in toilet. Guest bath shower valve piped backwards. Hot is cold, cold is hot. Drier does not dry. Drier exhaust was disconnected upon arrival I reconnected it and realized why it was disconnected. Plugged drier vent. This is a fire hazard. Ceiling fans were noisy. A/C was very drafty. Owner was a real jerk and owners' wife was very rude and impatient. Not a nice person. Would not rent again or recommend this place to anyone. Liked the complex but hated the condo.

Great location and nice condo

We stayed at this condo for 9 days and enjoyed our time. The location was perfect, just off the high-tourist area, but close enough to drive to. Watching the waves crash from the deck just cannot be beat. Great sunsets every night. The condo was nice, kitchen is conveniently stocked, bedrooms were comfortable. My only complaint is that the couches are very uncomfortable and could use an update. But all things considered the view from the deck trumps all. The owner was courteous and comms were good. The condo area was nice and our 8 year old loved the pools. Everything was well kept and clean and we had no issues while staying here.

Love this place!

Our family has rented several units in this area. We love this unit for the 3 bedroom and 3 full bathrooms. There are beach chairs and a. Ice umbrella which was super useful. There was also a vita mix which was awesome. This was a great place to stay.

Beautiful Oceanfront Location!

We had a lovely stay at this spacious, well-supplied condo with covered parking. Enjoyed having breakfast on the lanai - dolphins swam by every morning! Appreciated the close location to restaurants and grocery store at Keauhou Shopping Center and to Kahalu'u, our favourite snorkelling beach. A few minutes drive into Kona with good eats oceanside at Kai's, Papa Kona, Canoe Club, Don the Beachcomber, and Kona Inn. Mark was easy to get in contact with and gave us all the information needed to have a great stay. Thank you for sharing this beautiful home!
