The cabin was very nice and clean. The river front was beautiful. Alittle far to walk but a quick drive in driveway I only have 2 complaints. 1. The toilet seat in the downstairs bathroom needs to be replaced. It has quite a few worn marks showing wood .2. The drive from the shenandoah river outfitters got worst & worst the closer we got to cabin . Many potholes and bumby road that made feel like you driving on rumble strips for at 5 miles. Nice quiet location and secluded

The cabin was lovely, but the hot tub didn't heat up the first night and the kitchen was lacking in supplies. Unfortunately we didn't realize the river was so far from the house and was not visible from the cabin. We had a nice stay though.

Great communication with host. I planned my whole anniversary here for the weekend and had a blast. Make sure your car has all-wheel-drive or four-wheel as the roads getting there were a little difficult. The place was clean and inviting. So glad i spent the weekend here!!!

I We stayed here for 2 nights with 6 people. The hot tub was wonderful and enjoyable for everyone. The location is peaceful, clean, and perfect for relaxation. Shenandoah River is nearby, and walking along the riverbank was amazing.A couple of things to note: after check-out, trash needs to be taken about 5–6 miles away. If you are coming with a small car, you’ll need to carry the trash in your vehicle.Overall, a great spot and we would recommend it!

Great place tucked back on the river. Awesome area for younger kids to roam around near the cabin and the older kids to explore down by the river and fish.

Shenandoah Cabin

Loved staying at this cabin. Very peaceful. Great location for local hikes. Would recommend this place and would enjoy renting again.

Very nice cabin getaway

This cabin provided a very relaxing and serene home while we explored Luray. My kids enjoyed the hot tub, nearby river, and watching the local wildlife.

My family had such a wonderful stay at the River Lure cabin! Everything was extremely clean, and the instructions provided were clear and very thorough, which made settling in easy.The walk down to the water was lovely, and even the long dirt road that some reviews mentioned turned out to be one of our favorite parts—the scenery along the drive is absolutely beautiful.The hot tub was incredibly relaxing, and the kitchen is fully stocked with utensils, pots, and pans for just about anything you might want to cook. It really felt like a home away from home.The fire pit right outside the cabin made for a cozy evening of relaxing, making smores, and enjoying the night air. The TVs even have Roku, so you can log in to your own streaming services and enjoy a movie after a long day.I can’t say enough about how peaceful, clean, and relaxing this property is. We truly had a great time and would absolutely stay again!

This cabin offered a peaceful and tranquil retreat for us. Our children had a great time soaking in the hot tub, strolling by the nearby river, and observing the fascinating local wildlife.

Great Stay!

Well kept cabin, we had a great stay

Everything was very clean and orderly, beautiful location near the river. The cabin is in view of other cabins, which wasn't clear from the listing (I may have just missed it), but that was still good.

Yes, the River Lure shares the 7 acres with our 3 other cabins--Angler, Drifter and Paddler. Glad you enjoyed your stay. Fall was nice for the one week you were here! Winter has it's own beauty so do come back some time. Thanks.

Perfect Weekend

We had a great long weekend. Enjoyed the hot tub and visiting local wineries. This is our second time here and will be back again.

Amazing cabin getaway!!!

Pros: Beautiful location Hot tub is amazing!! comfortable beds Cons: Lots of windy roads, check in before sunset and limit night driving Pitch dark at night, need headlights or flashes No restaurants nearby, bring food to cook!

Wonderful place.

We spent the Thanksgiving holiday here, and it is a great place. The cabin is brand new and the bedrooms are very spacious (bigger than they look from the pictures). The cabin is a short walk from the river, and there is plenty of space around the cabin for the kids to run around. We definitely look forward to returning.

Very nice and clean

We got there at night so was a bit hard to see which cabin it was but it was super easy access. Place was clean and everything we needed was provided. Amazing time, def recommend.
