We designed and built this home from the sand up in 1997. Our mission is to welcome family and friends in a environment of quiet luxury. The home is Crump family owned and operated by the McCarthy family that built it. Thus we know, and care about every detail, and we share management , improving the end result! The ocean view is expansive and terrific from our four spacious decks. The home boasts two master bedrooms, each featuring King-sized beds.

Great property for large families. Plenty of space, convenient to downtown, shopping and restaurants. Beach access is just short walk over the dune.

My family takes a one week vacation to the beach every year. It’s 3 generations, 3 families and 8 people. This was the best accommodation we have experienced. On the beach. Plenty of bathrooms. Plenty of space for cooking and dining. Everyone loved it!

This was our second time staying at this house and it did not disappoint. From location and the condition of the property to the responsive management everything was top notch. I highly recommend this property and plan on visiting again soon.

We’ve been booking this property annually for many years. The owners have always taken a lot of pride in this home and sharing it with others. Whether you have a small family looking for space or a large family gathering. It’s perfect!

The home was perfect for our family. We loved the location although it would have been perfect if we could have seen the children on the beach from the house. The king bed was so comfy. The biggest issue we had was the queen beds in the room to the right of the front door were miserably soft, my son Inlaw folded like a burrito. We checked in with management and they brought a piece of plywood to put under the mattress. They said the owner was out of country and he couldn’t get permission to buy a new mattress. So they had to suffer with a miserable bed the whole week. There needs to be a mechanism in place to handle issues ls like this to safe guard guests.Otherwise this is a great place.

Hillary, I'm sorry about the bed. I bought those 4 queens just a few years ago, so I'm a bit surprised and have had no other complains. I will get it up to par!! My wife and I designed and built this home in 1997, and my children will take over, keep it as it is long after I "age out". We feel it is a very quiet, special place. Please come back some day! Great layout with every bedroom having its own bathroom! This is an incredible house for families! They have every you need for the beach towels, chairs, boogie boards, toys, etc. The location is great as you cross a one lane road to the beach and you are minutes from all the restaurants and attractions on the island.

We have stayed in Crumps Sandcastle a number of times the past 4-5 years. I have been down with a group of 12 friends, my immediate family, and this time with my husbands siblings and their husbands. This house is perfect for all ages! The owner and property managers are awesome and respond quickly to any issue. It is clean, great view and beach access, and plenty of parking. I get to come back in 2 weeks with our “soul sistas” week and can’t wait!

Thanksgiving Get-together

This property was ideal for an extended family vacation. There was room for everyone, a beautiful view of the beach, and plenty of attractions for all ages.

Years ago, I was impressed that my wife could always find something alive on the beach. She explained that was because her family had a beach house! Sandcastle was created as a result!
