This place is Amazing

Great Views, Great Location, Amazing house. The Owner maintains constant communication via text messages and availble to help 24/7. The beds were great. This place is an amazing location and setup for family get togethers or romantic get aways. 5* through out the whole trip.

Perfection by the sea

There is nothing better than waking up to a beautiful ocean view and the sound of the sea to create the perfect vacation. The "C" house offers exactly that!! This fantastic home has spectacular unobstructed views and is right on the sand great for sunbathing or sunset stroll. The fire pit(s) is a great way to spend the evening after the sun goes down. Everything you need is provided. The house manager is hands down the most attentive, informative, and accommodating manager I have ever had the pleasure of dealing with. She is available to help at any moment and is a delight to work with! We had a magical experience and can't wait to rent the "C" house in the future!!

Dreamy Thanksgiving

Wonderful location with powerful panoramic of the ocean from upstairs rooms. Traveling with grown up kids the room layout was really convenient with the master bedroom upstairs so those who wake up at 5 am don’t disturb those who sleep until 10 am. We were there for Thanksgiving and the kitchen was very well equipped to cater for a complex meal.

Perfect Beach Getaway!

Beautiful beach house right on the beach with unobstructed views of the ocean - water just a few feet away from the house. Great walking beach - daughter surfed right in front of the house. Fun area - restaurants within walking distance. House was perfect for a family of 4 - very well equipped with everything one would need. Will return!

Amazing Pierpont Property.

Property was just as billed. My family and I have been staying in Ventura and Oxnard at the beach that last few years and the Chateau was our favorite. The view from upstairs is unbelievable. The house and amenities are all in great shape. Beach access is unbeatable. We plan to return next year.

Dream house!

What a beautiful house, What a beautiful view! This was a girls trip and we had the most amazing time! Chateau by the “C” had all the amenities and more! The host was amazing and thought of EVERYTHING! We didn’t wanna leave! We will be back!

Don’t rent from this person

I’ve never ever had a worse rental experience! All you need to know about this property is that it could be nice, but it’s not very clean and the host is the most unreasonable person I’ve ever dealt with in a rental situation. After bringing up my concerns after being there 10 minutes, she called and within minutes told me she “didn’t like my tone” when she was the one who raised her voice and then said, “I’d like you to leave” which I was glad to at that point. I’m sure she has some story about how I was ungrateful and unreasonable, but I just feel bad for the owner of this property because this woman has no business being in property management.

Glorious!

After a year of thwarted vacations and stay-at-home orders, we wanted a change of scenery to ring in 2021, and man did this place deliver!! We loved just sitting in the upstairs living room, staring out the amazing floor-to-ceiling windows and watching the waves and surfers, and oh so many dogs. Every sunset was a different color, each more beautiful than the last. Looking forward to staying here again in warmer weather. Highly recommend!!

Fantastic

This is a fantastic property. Really enjoyed our stay at the "C". Weather was great and location is unbeatable. Enjoyed being able to spend time on the beach right outside the door and to be able to look out on the beach from almost everywhere on the property. Sunsets were gorgeous. The house has everything you need for a getaway. Kitchen is well appointed and everything in the house is in great condition. Looking forward to spending time there again soon. Highly recommend!

Beautiful location, excellent host

The pictures and description didn’t do any justice. The house was clean, had plenty dishes and pots and pans too. Had a lot of extra blankets, and pillows. Beach chairs and boogie boards and beach toys were available to use. The views were amazing! Easy access to the beach. And excellent, and easy to talk to host. We will definitely book again! Thank you Bunnie for your hospitality.

Perfect Covid "change of scenery" get-away!

We planned a short vacation to change up our scenery during the Covid pandemic. This was absolutely the perfect home to visit! It was clean, and literally on the beach! We sat on the sand, or by the expansive windows all day just playing and listening to the waves. The owners were extremely helpful and answered every email timely. They provided restaurant recommendations and the house had every beach amenity we could ask for. We brought our 1 year old dog as well. The house is pet-friendly and dogs are welcome on the beach. The beach was hardly populated which made it feel as if we had it all to ourselves. I highly recommend this property!!

Our family has always loved the water. We have been fortunate to travel to many places where we enjoyed the waters of the world. Ventura was the perfect place for us to explore being able to stay weekends and summers. Often our family would dive and snorkel the Channel Islands, an untouched natural wonder. Close by is Santa Barbara offering superb underwater diving different from Ventura. Surfing, boogie boarding, boating, and deep sea fishing are pleasures you will truly enjoy while visiting Ventura. Our hope is you and yours will love the area as much as we do!

Qué distingue a esta propiedad

Chateau "C" by the Sea has come full circle. It was time to update the Grand Chateau. The entire house has been totally remodeled from ceiling to floors. You will notice walking up to the front door all the personal touches from the large "C" on the door to the larger "C" on the oceanfront side of the house.

We have personally designed the stained glass windows throughout the home. View the windows at different times throughout the day to see the changing colors of the fish and birds. We have added large portholes where you can look at the ocean as if you are on a ship. You will love the comfort and space of the home allowing a flow that is geared towards relaxation.
