It's a Paradise Cottage!! Located at the quiet end of Jax Beach, a short 1.5 block walk or bike ride to the water. Quaint 3 bedroom home. 2 queen and one double sized bed. Only 2 blocks from exclusive Ponte Vedra Beach as well. Enjoy a quiet and peaceful vacation get-away. This home comes complete with air conditioning, a fully equipped kitchen, ceiling fans throughout, cable TV, tile, hardwood flooring, and an outside shower for cleaning off the beach sand. You'll enjoy the ocean breezes in the evenings on our front chairs provided of course!

Take a bike ride to Starbucks in the morning or go for that early morning beach walk. Attend the Sea Pavilion for concerts, outdoor movies and festivals. Golfers have a five-minute drive to Sawgrass TPC. Historic St. Augustine, the nations oldest city is an approximate 30 minute drive. Just over an hour to the Daytona Speedway, and two hours to Mickey Mouse. Also within close proximity to the Mayo Clinic.

Home provides beach chairs, beach cart, 3 adult bikes, 2 child bikes with color coded locks. Beach towels, dishes, bath towels, linens, coffee pot, washer/dryer. One smaller stroller as well as an all terrain stroller. Pack 'n Play as well

Holiday Getaway

We spent the days with family and enjoyed evenings in our own bungalow with beautiful sunrises during the Thanksgiving weekend! Time with family was perfect and the serene evenings and early mornings allowed us to rest and recharge. The owner was very accommodating and was easy to communicate with during our check in. Perfect for 4-6 people but we only had three. There is only one bathroom but with our small family it was not an issue. Lovely beach getaway!

Excellent location

The property was clean and in a great location. The house was comfortable and we had a blast on the front porch! The only thing I would suggest is replacing the frying pans as they are Teflon and scratched.

South Jax Beach gem

Great value whole home rental in the heart of South Jax Beach, and steps (1.5 blocks) fro beach. We’ve stayed here 3 times, and that says as much about how much we enjoy it as any words. Thx D’Ann for great cottage at a great price! See you again soon!

Amazing Stay a Block Away from the Beach!

My two daughters and I were in Jacksonville, FL for a family reunion. There was a hotel with a block of rooms arranged, but we already knew one hotel room with two queen beds was not going to cut it for a small group of loud snorers, so I decided to go the VRBO route. I was lucky enough to find D'Ann's three-bedroom property in Jacksonville Beach, just a block away from the sand and shore. It was the perfect location, was offered at a decent rate, and offered each person their own bedroom. Getting into the house once we arrived was very easy with the combination of D'Ann's instructions and the system she had in place at the property. Not only did the house have three bedrooms, but it also had a cozy living area with television and sofas, a separate dining area, and a full kitchen with all the utensils and tools you needed. It even had a Keurig coffee machine with pods -- which is definitely a requirement for a coffee addict! There was a washer and dryer in one of the bedrooms, and the one bathroom was clean and large enough to accomodate all my daughters' stuff on the counter. The house also had plenty of linens and towels, and it also had a shed in the back full of equipment for activities -- bikes, beach carts on wheels, games, etc -- which we unfortunately weren't able to use this trip. Bottom line is that I can't recommend D'Ann's property enough. If I find myself in Jacksonville again, I hope D'Ann's property will be available. Thanks, D'Ann!

Perfect beach home

Very clean and just like the pictures! Easy walk to a beautiful beach and close to all the shopping you would need. Very comfortable beds and everything we needed for whole trip! Would love to stay here again!

Great House, Great location, Great host

Very nice house in a perfect location with access to the beach and any shopping. Host provided bikes, beach toys, wagon, etc so it made it feel like our own beach house. Super convenient to walk to the beach with multiple options. Beach was clean and not very crowded. Also really close to shopping like Trader Joe’s and restaurants. Host was super helpful. The host let us stay parked at the house after checkout so we could continue to enjoy the beach our last day. Host also helped and mailed us something we accidentally left in the house. I will recommend this host and this house to any person going to the JAX beach area.

Wedding Weekend

The place was perfect for our needs. The neighborhood was such a nice area to run and take walks. We loved how close we were to the beach. Our weather was decent and we even had a great beach day. We were in town for a wedding held at TPC Sawgrass. We were in close proximity to all of the gatherings we needed to attend. Although grocery stores were in close by, we definitely needed a car. The house was so cute and cozy. We hated to leave and return to "real life".

Great location for a peaceful stay!

One of the best Vrbo stays! The cottage was clean, had everything you needed to go the beach (beach towels, buggy, chairs), walking distance to the beach, everybody in the neighborhood was friendly and hardly no one on the beach so it was peaceful and quiet. Had trouble with the TV and D'Ann was right on it to figure the problem out, great host! Will be back with more family! Thank you D'Ann!

This property was in an awesome location just outside of the craziness of downtown Jax beach while still being close enough we could venture down there if we wanted. House was clean, towels were fluffy and beds were comfortable. We had a toddler with us for part of the time and the property had a pack and play and high chair which made things very convenient. Host was friendly and A+ communication. We would absolutely stay here again.

Perfect Beach Bungalow

Our family of 6 (2 adults, 4 teens, 2 elementary age) had a terrific stay! The cleanliness and attention to detail by the housekeepers is superb. Walking in to the house was one of the best experiences we've ever with a rental property due to this factor alone. The location is excellent! The beach is very close - a pleasant and easy 5-minute walk. This part of the beach is quiet and not really crowded, I think due to parking restrictions in the neighborhood. Our older kids enjoyed biking down to the pier a couple of times. Grocery store and highway access are only 5 minutes away. The front porch is large and quiet for a cup of coffee in the morning or a cocktail in the evening. The AC works great! We will definitely stay again!

Perfect beach cottage

Loved it. Clean. Fully stocked. Host is very responsive. Very convenient to quiet area of beach. Beach towels/TP/paper towels/plastic trash bags were a plus and appreciated, most places don’t do that! Perfect vacation spot for family/teenagers. We’ll be back!

I live in the Pacfic NW now, but growing up in a small southern Calif beach community I wanted somewhere I could go and get my sunshine. My family lives just a few blocks away so this seemed like the perfect home for me.

I fell in love with the charm of this home and the fact that it is so close to the water. The location is great for having to get just about anywhere, stores are so close by. The neighborhood is a quiet relaxing beach community. Lots of walkers, runners, bicycles, etc.
