We have a 5 night min during festivals and Mardi Gras. Your fabulous 1800 sq. foot condo will have access to an in-ground pool, patio with barbecue grill and dining area, Jacuzzi, and lush gardens. We have an awesome location and are next to the World Famous Sammy's Deli and Old New Orleans Rum Distillery. The duplex home has been decorated by a Local New Orleans Artist! We live on site and rent the other side. We spared no expense in setting up this beautiful vacation home for our guests. It's located three miles from the French Quarter and Jazz Fest. It's the perfect oasis for your New Orleans' vacation. You'll relish all the amenities of a posh hotel at half the price and twice the privacy. Exercise with weights, NDT ball, or recliner bicycle. Make yourself a gourmet salad with our herbs, seasonal fruits, and vegetables. Lavish in 1000 thread count cotton sheets, wrap up in Turkish towels, and choose your bathing preference with an open air rain shower or a deep old fashioned tub. Stay entertained with a 55 inch 4k Smart TV in the bedroom or living room. Watch a football game on the 42 Inch TV located in the kitchen/bar. Catch a great movie while resting on our comfortable "Murphy" Cabinet beds (Queen size, of course). There's even a TV to watch "Life Time" while you soak in a bubble bath. A 750 watt surround sound system with Blue Tooth will delight your ears. The entire house will come alive with your favorite songs powered by Klipsch speakers. The lighting is amazing, as well. Twelve dimmable wall sconces will set the ambience for your evening. Stay cool with ceiling fans in the master bedroom and Murphy bed nook. The minibar area hosts a daybed that is amazing! Relax in the warmth of the sun, curl up with a good book, or take an afternoon siesta. Feel free to relax! Enjoy the view of our beautiful courtyard and have coffee on the terrace. The place for relaxation

Pool. Hot tub, huge bathroom tub, koi pond, chickens with fresh eggs. So many good things to say :-)

Clean and relaxing!

Property was incredibly clean and looked exactly as advertised. The off-street parking was handy and owners were extremely gracious and accessible.

Perfect for us

We really enjoyed staying at the property. The owners were very thorough and communicated well. They are super friendly and made sure we had everything we needed. The pool was so nice on some hot days. Will definitely recommend and stay again.

Close to everything yet quiet

We enjoyed our stay very much. The personal touches made it feel very welcoming. As soon as we walked in we were greeted by 2 dozen yellow roses. It was a nice personal/ business getaway.

Nice little getaway!

Me and my wife enjoyed this little getaway for our 12th anniversary. Very relaxing hanging out by the pool without the kids. Hot tub is great! Home is very comfortable!

Best Place Ever

Every single thing about this property is AMAZING!!! It is elegantly decorated and beautiful. Edward and Susan are amazing hosts who go out of their way to make sure you have everything you need. The pool, hot tub, and fire pit are amazing; they enhanced our trip tremendously. I cannot recommend this place enough!!!!

Nice Property

My wife and I enjoyed our stay at the property. Edward and Susan were very prompt in communication and very welcoming. They made sure to include convenient perks to make the stay more comfortable, like fresh eggs, coffee and other items. The property was very clean and very accommodating. The off street parking was ideal, as it raining right when we pulled up. We would definitely stay again.

Great Hosts!

We had an enjoyable stay as Eddie & Susan have a comfortable, safe suite but also showed us that southern hospitality we’d heard of. Everything in the suite is hi-end; from the luxurious king bed & bedding to the appliances and classy touches like drinks in the fridge & scones on the counter. The pool & hottub we’re top-notch as well. As we didn’t have a vehicle, Eddie offered us a ride to the grocery store and a tour through part of the French Quarter. Great people & a great place to stay.

Unbelievable !

Unbelievablely quiet. I have been coming to New Orleans a very long time and I would not believe it if you told me. Neighbors are great. The property is absolutely First Class. The owners are great. We loved everything about this place. We will definitely be back if they let us.

Hidden gem in NOLA

Great little property close to the French Quarter and Garden District. This was our first time to NOLA so we didn't know anything about the neighborhoods. The property was gated and we felt very safe here and it was conveniently close to the French Quarter. The quality of the furnishing was outstanding and everything was top notch. They had fresh flowers, pastries and fresh eggs waiting for us on arrival - what a personal touch! Enjoyed the heated pool and hot tub as well. Owners live in attached section and were very easy to get a hold of for checkin and checkout instructions. Highly recommend this property!

This Place was AMAZING!!!!!

Susan & Eddie were great!! The place was BEAUTIFUL & had everything you needed. LOVED The bathrooms, TVs, Luxury Decor, & the extras! The Pool was heated & was able to enjoy it :) Had a Great, well needed Vacation. Its Very Close to all the action in New Orleans, but Nice & private. The owners do live next door, but it was like they were't even there. We used one of our days to stay in & relax & didn't hear anything, not even the dogs :) We will DEFINITELY stay here the next time we visit!!!!! A+++++ ***** 5 STARS ***** LOVED IT!!!! Thank you!!!!!

This home was perfect for our family’s trip to New Orleans

Five stars for this home rental. We wanted to spend a long weekend in New Orleans with our teenage daughter, 4 year old son and sister visiting from Boston and ‘oasis’ exceeded our expectations. Edward and Susan were incredibly nice and on site to help with any questions we had. The pool and jacuzzi were AMAZING to hang out at and Edward set up the projector and speaker system for us to play music and movies outside. The house was impeccably clean, very unique and comfortable to relax and sleep. Hosts provided plenty of pool and bath towels and there is a washer/dryer available in unit to use. We cooked in on their huge grill one night and were able to have friends come hang out. The location is perfect, 15 minute drive or $10 Uber to pretty much anywhere you would want to go(we went to the zoo and French quarter). Highly reccomend this home to families, groups or couples wanting a little slice of heaven in the city. Thank you Edward and Susan! We will be back!

Unprofessional Owners

While I admit that the condo was stunning and my husband and I had been counting down the days to stay here, we did not actually stay at the property. When we arrived we were greeted by the host's husband who gave us a tour of the backyard, which had beautiful gardens, an impressive fountain, and nice pool. When we got inside the condo and looked around, my husband did his ritual of checking for bed bugs (that he does at every location we stay at). We found several small bugs under the headboard of the bed and were pretty sure they were bed bugs. A bit freaked out we decided to go grab dinner and talk about our plan, without unpacking our car. While driving around the city looking for food we called VRBO to ask about their bedbug policy. After some holding and transferring with VRBO, a customer service rep called the hosts and connected our lines without warning me and without answering what their actual policy is about bed bugs. The host and her husband handled the situation extremely unprofessionally, cursed at us for not talking to them first, accused us of planting the bugs, and voiced concern about their 5 star review. They eventually reported they would refund us before hanging up. Later that night the host's husband called us again to yell and curse at us and insist the bugs are termites. At this point, even if they could prove the bugs were termites, neither me nor my husband felt safe coming back to the property due to the owners' hostility, though it was still booked under my name. I tried for well over an hour to get ahold of VRBO again without an answer before getting a hotel and going to bed. The next day, we messaged the host about the process of the refund and she responded that she decided not to give it to us, by directly stating "I am keeping it all!!" The host and her husband both handled the situation extremely unprofessionally and, despite the insects that may or may not be bed bugs, I would not recommend booking with them as their attitude towards us dramatically and quickly changed when we perceived an issue with their property.

If you want privacy please don’t visit here! The host Edward is racist. He judged me from the time I pulled up. He insisted on helping me with my bags to snoop around. He cursed me and my friends out , so unprofessional. He appeared to be under the influence. he lives next door and has cameras everywhere. He is awful !!!! My advice don’t go here. I had to call the police to get a partial refund. He threatened me and my friends and kids. Horrible never have I ever encountered should person

Wonderful place to stay

This is a great place to stay. The owners have thought of everything! Edward was very accommodating and showed us around as soon as we arrived. It was nice to have a secure place to park. The garden and pool scenery was absolutely beautiful. The place was clean and had everything we needed, plus more. They even had snacks and fresh eggs when we arrived. We loved playing in the pool and the design of the condo was very nice. I would recommend this place to anyone.

Great beautiful place

This place was very clean and owners very helpful and friendly. Had very nice garden fresh eggs from the chickens. Was awesome to set in pool and watch the big screen. House was clean and spacious loved the water fall shower head and my wife loved the big soaking tub while she sat in it and watched television. This was a great place to stay can't wait to go back again

THIS IS WHERE YOU WANNA BE

A beautiful 1 bedroom condo that lived up to expectations. It is beautifully decorated. This place was definitely as advertised and a very comfortable and secure living spot for your vacation needs the owners were very friendly and inviting. My only suggestion would be to come during the warmer months so you can utilize the pool and hot tub. The Enchanted Oasis is far enough yet close enough to all of your fun and activities during your stay. I would recommend this place to anyone just not during the time that I want to rent it lol. I hope this helps

Cheers to a fantastic place and even better hosts!

My boyfriend and I needed a fun and relaxing getaway. We wanted to experience parts of New Orleans outside of the French Quarter, bc we have both done that numerous times. I am so glad I found this place! As with any city there are some streets/areas “better” than others. This place was like it’s own little fortress. We felt very safe and really appreciated being able to park my vehicle within the gated property- not something you find in New Orleans often! We never felt unsafe- we walked around the neighborhood a bit and up to Sammy’s deli and the nearby gas station. There was still some damage from the recent hurricane, but most had repairs in progress at some point during our stay. To me that reflects the love of the community and neighborhood. Susan and Edward were the coolest people- so hospitable, welcoming and kind! Their property is so enjoyable in itself! We swam in the heated pool and hot tub each night. We enjoyed coffee and cocktails by the fountains and pool and strolled around enjoying all of their labors of love throughout the property. You immediately notice a lot of time goes in to this place. The condo was super clean and had everything we needed. There were quite a few hidden surprises we enjoyed throughout from the eggs, chocolates & candies, selection of Kurig cups & cream provided, lovely fragranced candles, soaps and shampoos. The garden was open for the taking of whatever we wanted. The fresh flowers upon entry were a really nice touch and had roses from their garden added. The king bed slept wonderfully and we loved that it was dark when you shut all the doors after the late nights! Made it a little easier to lose track of time which we both needed to do. The sheets, towels and throw blankets were all so soft and cozy and smelled good too. We enjoyed just checking out all the unique furnishings and art in the home. We used Uber most of the time and everywhere we went was no more than a $13 ride one way. It was so worth not having to worry about driving and parking! I can’t say enough great things about this place and the owner’s made it even more of a gem! We left feeling like we made new friends & are already planning another trip. Huge thank you Susan and Edward! It was so hard to leave and we can’t wait to come back! Thank you for opening up your home to share with us! We have enjoyed the fresh eggs, chives, basil & lavender you sent us home with and are harvesting seeds from the eggplant! Cheers- Dana & Matt ♥️
