This property was fantastic! Includes absolutely everything you would need for your stay. Very clean and well cared for. The host is great with communication and made sure we were taken care of. I would definitely stay here again.

loved this quaint cosy cottage. the handwritten welcome note and water bottles were a nice touch. location was great for a girls hiking trip to starved rock chasing frizen waterfalls! the pobg pong table and air hockey table added to our entertainment. highly recommend this house

Great Weekend

Great place to stay a weekend of family hiking in the State Parks. House was very enjoyable to relax in the evenings, read books, play games, and watch a family movie.

Amazing stay!

We had a great spring break stay and loved the house! The kids had so much fun playing air hockey and ping pong, there were treats for our pup, and we had plenty of room to spread out and relax after a long day of hiking. Also a great location- we had ice cream every day! Our kiddos insist we only stay here when we visit going forward- so much fun!

A sweet house in a lovely location

We thoroughly enjoyed staying in this lovely cottage. Everything was thoughtfully arranged and the location made it easy to travel to Starved Rock and Ottawa while enjoying the best of LaSalle.

Great location for Starved Rock

Plenty of space for our group! Clean and fully stocked with all our needs and more! The kids loved the activities in the basement!

Perfect for travel with kids!

Location is perfect to Starved rock trails and perfect when traveling with kids. We enjoyed Twisty Freeze one block away!

Short Getaway

Great getaway

Fantastic home base for exploring the state parks. Very clean, well maintained, comfortable beds and thoughtful touches. Loved being able to bring our dog and really appreciated the sweet welcome for us and our pet left by the owner. Would stay again.

Lindberg Cottage near Starved Rock

Location convenient to Starved Rock and Matthiessen State Parks with great, scenic trails; close to great restaurants (Verrucchi's, Uptown Grill, Country House); nice amenities in the house (games, books, air hockey, darts); inside is bigger than it looks from the front--plenty of room and comfort for this family of 6! Great place to stay when in this area!
