We had a wonderful stay and were very happy with our choice! The house is in a beautiful and very convenient location, with all the main attractions just a short drive away. Everything was very clean and well maintained, and the interior was cozy, charming, and beautifully decorated. The host was very caring and attentive, always checking to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. Communication was excellent, and any questions we had were answered right away.We truly enjoyed our stay and would definitely choose this place again. Highly recommended!

Good experience!

We enjoyed our stay and hope to come back in the future. Cabin was spacious, clean and if we forgot some thing, the cabin had it waiting for us to use it. Pet friendly was a bonus and will suggest it to others!

Perfect place to stay

The cabin and the property were perfect. Our hosts were very easy to communicate with, and checked in with us often to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. My husband and I were visiting to ride our bicycles on the Mickelson trail with a group of friends who stayed in nearby hotels. They wished they had known about Elk Haven Cabins because they would have chosen the cabins instead of a hotel room! Thank you very much Kris and Beth. We hope to return!

vacation spot

The cabin was great but I found out at our age we need air conditioning. The fans did not do the job. On days when it was a bit cooler it was quite comfortable. The managers did a terrific job taking care of the cabin and the outside area. The surrounding area was beautiful and a nice distance from Custer. We saw young fawns almost every day. I appreciate the managers for their consideration of their guests.

Excellent location, excellent facility

Hubby and i stayed in cabin #1 at Elk Haven cabins for a week and found it to be comfortable and clean with all amenities needed. The only thing that would make it absolutely perfect would be laundry facilities, but that was such a small thing for us that it didn't detract at all. There were lots of brochures and info provided on things to see and do. The full kitchen was handy for making breakfast. We only used the downstairs bedroom, but that bed was comfy and we slept well. it was so quiet and There were so many stars at night, we actually found the Milky Way. we saw lots of deer and wild turkeys along the road, especially around dusk and early in the morning. It was just a lovely place to stay for all our activities.
