On the Water in a Peaceful Lagoon. The bay house is designed specifically to get away while connecting with family, friends. While avoiding the normal rush of people to Galveston. Enjoy all the activities this property has to offer while kayaking, fishing, paddle boarding, boating, and much more within minutes of the house. This home has 4 bedrooms, 3 1/2 baths in a fully renovated property. It offers a large deck facing the bay with great water views from both the upper and lower decks. A wall of windows overlooking the lagoon and bay. The home has spacious bedrooms and open living, dining areas, and covered decking. Come enjoy time away from the hustle and bustle and recharge your batteries with family and friends. Increased cleaning measures have been implemented.

Great location!

This is a great house for a family trip. There is a ton of space and you can't beat the views. We came during a windy, cold weekend so we couldn't try out the kayaks and water sports, but there were a lot of options. The deck has great views of the bay and the fishing was great off the dock. We will definitely come back during the summer.

Great vacation rental.

This is a great place for a family vacation. The view is beautiful and the lagoon is handy for the kids to play on.

Perfect Getaway

This trip was different in that there was a tropical storm and the streets were a bit flooded. We planned correctly with groceries and had a nice time fishing and watching the the bay from the porch.

Fishing and kayaking adventure

We loved the fishing and kayaking! The enclosed upper deck was great for our little ones. The green light was a great way to observe the sea life. The community pool and playground were really nice. The beach is so close too! Highly recommend!!

Vacation Time

We had a great time. The house was in a good location, clean and well stocked with everything..... even fish fry! Everyone enjoyed fishing, which was good, and kayaking. We would definitely go back again. Fyi, mosquitoes were rampant so bring bug spary.

Great stay

Overall the house was great. It’s hard to find more than 3 bedrooms and more than 3 bathrooms and this one had 4 nice sized rooms Everything inside was nicely updated and clean. Plenty of outdoors space and seating.

Great bay home

This house was fantastic and location was perfect. The home was set up very well with tons of amenities for the family. The host was great and communicated clearly when we had any questions. Would recommend this home to anyone wanting to have a great time on the water.

Excellent location!

There was something for everyone at the house. Very tastefully done. Great layout. Comfortable furnishings. Restaurants were close by as were the many beaches. Loved the neighborhood!

Bayhouse Trip

Springbreak Fishing Spit

Had an amazing time at this house. Everything was as expected and the location could not be better. Tons of outdoor deck space and everyone loved the open lawn next to the house. The location was perfect for families that want to fish or kayak into the bay. Todd was an amazing host and super responsive to messages in a timely manner. Absolutely nothing bad to say about this house. We will most definitely be back.

Wonderful stay

We had a wonderful stay in Jamaica beach. The house was very clean. Everything was very well stocked. The kitchen had nice dish ware which isn’t always a thing in a rental. The property manager was quick to respond on any questions. The location was also very nice. The view is great and the lagoon area is nice for calmer waters for kayaking/paddle boards. The outdoor area is great - plenty of seating and space for everyone. We would stay here again.

60th Wedding Anniversary

My family thoroughly enjoyed our weekend at your house. Everything was just as described and better. We enjoyed fishing off the deck and using the crab traps. We all had comfortable beds and plenty of room to spread out. My parents had a wonderful 60th anniversary celebration. We will definitely stay there again! Thank you so much! We also enjoyed Shrimp NStuff food truck right down the road and had a nice dinner at West End Marina. Thanks again!

Needs some attention

We chose this rental because of the excellent reviews, but we think some improvements could be made. The main door can’t be securely locked - someone could just push the door open even though it’s locked, the dishwasher is not firmly attached and kept leaning forward, only 3 windows have screens on them, there are no blinds or shades in the main family area so no privacy, rust on fixtures in the bathroom, and a shortage of flatware for meals. For the price we expected higher standards.

Adventure to remember!

My family and I booked February 15-19, 2021 to come in town for a wedding. We had such big plans to enjoy everything Galveston Island had to offer, attend a beautiful wedding for my nephew and his fiance at The Lyceum and this house was the perfect fit for our family. No one could predict that a winter storm with snow, ice, a deep freeze, power outages, and eventually water outages would happen. We came in a day early to beat the storm and the power went out on the island at 2 pm Monday morning (Feb 15th). We decided to go ahead to the house as planned on Monday, anticipating that the power should come back on sometime that evening. Well, it didn't and the roads were too dangerous to travel on to get off the island that night. So my husband, myself, and teen daughter all slept in the king room under almost every cover in the house. We sadly ended up having to leave the next day because there was still no power. Even though things didn't go as planned, we would definitley love to come back when it is warmer, and enjoy everything this Jamaica Beach house has to offer! The views are beautiful, the ameneties are tremendous, the area is perfect if you want to get away from the hustle and bustle of the crowds. Thank you for sharing your home with us and you will be hearing from us again in the future!

Great set up for 2 families to enjoy a great vacation - large side lot for volleyball, corn hole and other games. Have fun in the water with the water craft and toys. Fish right from the decking of the house, there are also great local fishing guides available. Quick drive to the beach and a great place to relax and enjoy time together with friends and family.
