Enjoy fantastic water views of Stump Sound, Banks Channel, ICW and ocean via Widows Watch. This lovely 4 bedroom home features a covered wrap around porch with dramatic wetland views providing great privacy. Sleeps 8, large upstairs master suite, twin room, 2 guest bedrooms downstairs. Includes: covered porch, open decks, outdoor hot water shower, boat dock with fishing sink, patio swing, panoramic Widows Watch with wet bar, master bedroom has open balcony water views! Easy access to ICW and minutes to the beach makes this vacation home the best of both worlds. The great room/kitchen is open to the expansive view. Kitchen is stocked with all the necessities for cooking wonderful meals or just entertaining. Boat Ramp is not available.
PLEASE NOTE some of the furniture in the living area has been updated.

I truly do not even know where to begin! This is a beautiful home! The Views of the bay and the view of the sun rising were breathtaking! We were able to dock our boat for the week and enjoyed taking it out everyday fishing! In the evenings we enjoyed sitting on the top deck as well as the dock enjoying the cooler evening air. We never turned on the TV’s and were barely on our phones! We were making memories with our family! The kitchen is very well stocked to make cooking easier. We did have one minor issue come up and Jim was quick to help us resolve the issue! We look forward to booking this house again!

We loved this house. It is beautiful and the area is so nice peaceful. The walk to the beach is not bad, but would recommend trying to find a golf cart to rent way before I tried! Would have been better with the heat. We ended up just driving back and forth. We will be back!

We have stayed at this property multiple times. It’s got a great location, well stocked kitchen, very well maintained, attractively decorated, and the hosts are the best. It has a nice dock for fishing as well. We have stayed in two other properties in Surf City and this is by far our favorite.

This is my go to property! Very nice for a boat owner, halfway between New River and New Topsail inlet. Deep enough channel even at lower tide for a 35’ boat, and amazing sunrise and sunset views. Far enough from the beach to not have the strong winds, but close enough to walk to for a relaxing stroll in the sand and surf.As much as I (selfishly) don’t want to promote this property for my own ease of availability, the owners are fantastic and attentive and do not disappoint. So, I have to be honest, this is the best property we have stayed at in Surf City, and I have adjusted my plans to stay here. I don’t think anyone would be disappointed with their stay here. Additionally info for fisherman: 14 miles to New River Inlet, 11 Miles to New Topsail Inlet. Best fuel prices on the water Pelegic Hunter Fishing Center (Sneads Ferry). Best sandbar(s) New Topsail Inlet (be aware of tides and current). NOTE: check the latest surveys for both inlets, they are constantly shifting.To summarize, this property is a 10 out of 10!

Gorgeous Views, Great Location

The house was very well stocked and clean. The location was fantastic for the uninterrupted views of the sound, while also being central to beaches and shops.

Wonderful family friendly location, beautiful sunrise.Great kitchen, for those morning breakfasts.Family space-for gathering is so relaxing, indoors and out. All the amenities of home.

Beautiful property in every way!! Great location close to amenities yet quiet and private. Outstanding views all day long. Loved being able to fish right off the dock and paddle in the sound! House was super clean and cozy, kitchen was well-stocked which we appreciated because we cooked our own meals a lot. We will definitely stay here again! Thanks Jim!

Great place for families

Nice, clean home with a great setup for families. Host was very accommodating during an unforeseen issue and we were really happy to have the week here. Hope to come back soon!

Peaceful stay on the sound

Our family loved the close location to the beach (with rented golf cart) and I loved the ability to kayak easily on the sound. We got to watch dolphins play around us in the channel!

Amazing Stay

We had the most amazing stay! The home was VERY clean and stocked with everything you could possibly need. The views are absolutely stunning. We brought our boat and the dock was perfect! Location to the inlet is second to none. We are already planning our trip back next year!
