Enjoy our boat ramp, dock and walk ways.
Beach area between sea wall and dock, great for kids, and mounting kayaks.

We like to rent from Saturday to Saturday. However, if you would like to stay less than 7 days, please e-mail me and we can look at what you have in mind.

6 bedrooms: two king suites, three queen bedrooms, kids room with two bunks,
sleeper sofa for 2 - sleeps 16 people comfortably. Overhead fans in five bedrooms.
4 full baths - endless HOT water with tankless water heater, able to take three showers
at one time.
Fully furnished kitchen with all pots, pans, dishes etc. - seats 18 people
High Chair for young infants.
Boat ramp, 10 X 20 dock, half of the dock covered
Swing and two picnic tables, and six chairs under house.
We now have a corn hole game for outdoor fun.
Book case with books and games.
Six beach chairs for adults, 2 for children, to use.
4 Kayaks
We now have a four-person paddle boat to play with.
4 modern smart TVs, Free Internet, cable TV, also a TV with DVD player on a small table in the upstairs hall for kids to use.

We decided not to provide bed linen, bath towels or kitchen towels. We have reduced our house rent to save you money, so, you can bring your own linen and towels, or, we have provide names and numbers to call, so you can create your own package to suit the needs of your group. 5 people, 10 people, 16 people. Whatever is right for you.

Anyone who has come to Surf City on 4th of July knows that the water pressure from 4 pm thru 8 pm is bad. In 2023 it was worst than bad. So, we have added Grundfos, SCALA2 boost pump. This will keep good water pressure, even on the top floor shower. Enjoy.

Our stay at Old Savannah Farm was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we arrived, the host made us feel genuinely welcome. Annual Family Beach Trip

Great location for vacationers who love boating and the beach! House is amazing with lots of room. There were 15 in our group, ages 2 to 88.The owner checked in frequently to make sure we had what we needed…We will definitely stay again!!

Wonderful house

Another Great Beach Week

The property was great and accommodated our 3 generations of family nicely! This is the fourth year we have stayed here We love the location and enjoyed everything from kayaking, swimming, boating, fishing, beaching to coffee runs!

Wonderful home

As a farm family we enjoyed this “farm” home with great views of the canal, wonderful tractor displays, and minutes away from the beach. The owner is awesome and answered all our questions. If you’re looking to stay close to the beach with family and friends this is a great place to stay!

Great Vacation

The house was amazing and we had everything we needed for our week stay. Three generations of our family stayed and had plenty of room. The children loved kayaking, swimming and fishing off the dock. The owners were very helpful and went out of their way to make sure we had a great week in their home. We have already booked for next year.

Wonderful Place! Highly Recommend!

We once again had a wonderful stay! This home is in a perfect location on the canal with lots to do (kayak, peddle boat, swim, fish, boat ride…) and easy water access. It is a great location for going for walks and bike rides. The ocean is just a short walk away as well. The water pressure was fantastic, even on the 4th of July! The house is clean, comfortable and well-equipped. Mr. Dawson has always been an incredibly helpful and responsive host, going above and beyond for 6 years now, making our stays even more enjoyable!

Lovely Home

We were so happy with the location in Surf City. The house was beautiful and perfect for us. We loved having the kayaks, corn hole, and beach chairs available as well as a pier for fishing. This was the perfect home. We have no complaints!

Absolutely loved it!

The owners of this beautiful home were wonderful to work with! Lots of amenities included. We especially enjoyed the dock and kayaking on the canal. Beautiful scenery! We didn’t want to leave! We would definitely rent this home again!

Family/Friends vacation

House was perfect for all our needs. We brought out boat and utilized the boat ramp and dock all week. Enough space for 6 18-21 year old kids, five adults and one 14 year old. Owner was very attentive and easy to contact if needed.

This rental was the perfect house for our large family of 8 adults and 7 children. Each family had their own designated bathroom and bedroom. The bedroom with the bunk beds was a perfect fit for our grandsons. All the beds were very comfortable, the best we’ve ever slept on away from our own home. The kitchen was fully stocked, again the best we’ve ever had with a rental! We prepared and cooked every meal during our stay except for the evening of our arrival day. So 3 meals a day all week, and we had every kitchen or cooking equipment needed for every meal! The counter top ice maker was a big plus! We never had any problems with the water pressure or having enough hot water! This is a first for our family while on vacation! We had 4 showers going at the same time and there was no difference in the water pressure or temperature at all. Our family enjoyed fishing off the dock, kayaking and paddle boating in the canal. The walk to the beach took our large family about 10 minutes but we had 2 wagons and 7 children in tow. We used Beach Access #3 and it was never crowded. The grandchildren enjoyed playing with the games and cards that were available to use each evening too. Dawson, the host, did an excellent job communicating with me before, during and after our stay. Again, the best we’ve ever experienced with VRBO. We had a wonderful vacation this summer and it was because of this beautiful vacation rental that we called ours for the week!! Thanks to Dawson and family!!

Went down to the beach house today. Checked water pressure at ground level. Checked 48 lbs. Good but not great. Check pressure at top floor shower. Checked 40 lbs. Good but not great. ONWASA, the company in control of the water and sewer, must have had some kind of project going on during your stay. I wish you had called me, I could have called them to complain. By next year I will have an auxiliary water pump inside the subfloor of the house to bust water pressure. Like all beach communities', they are building more houses and apartment's every day. Water is in tight supply. Hope to see you next year.

Great Family Vacation

This was our 3rd year at this vacation home. We had an awesome week. It is obvious that the owners put a lot of effort into making sure their renters have a good experience. There are lots of pots for cooking, lots of space for our large family to enjoy eating together or playing games, and really comfortable beds. The location, outdoor area with all the extras and lots of parking is perfect Planning to go back next year.

Thank you for that great review. We moved into our beach house December 2019. Our first year renting was 2020. Your family and two other families, have been with us from the start. To just say thank you, does not say enough. Look forward to seeing your family in 2023.
