Location is excellent for walking downtown or to the Riverwalk, driving across the Animas on ninth St bridge, or running from the room to the railroad tracks still in your pajamas to see the early train go by .Host communication was bad, as Jonathan essentially ghosted us as we were trying to extend our reservation for an additional day, leading to first confusion (is he going to extend the reservation?) and then anxiety (the reservation was extended after final payment was made, resulting in an additional requested payment when we had given up and made other plans).

This property has an amazing location! Right off the main street. Being a 2 story unit, you don't have anyone above you which is another great plus. Space was very adequate. Manager was very responsive to issues. Reserved parking space was wonderful. Beds and living room furniture were not comfortable and could stand to be upgraded.

Great location a block off Main Street so everything was walkable. Downstairs comfortable and kitchen well equipped. Bedrooms upstairs nice and the neighborhood was quiet dispite being so close th Main. Reserved parking spot was a real bonus.

Great place to stay in Durango. Right off shops and restaraunts in main street. Manager communication was super easy and helpful. Will stay there again.

check in was easy and Jon was very communicative. We left our rain coats and he was very helpful in retrieving them and getting them back to us.

Great place to stay. Very close to down town with access to restaurants and shopping. Should note that the stairs to the bedrooms up stairs are steep but have a banister. Overall great experience.

I reached out to Jonathan on two occasions with questions regarding Cable TV, which was supposed to be hooked up, but wasn’t, and a check out issue, and he never responded. Before arrival I asked him a question about info regarding check in and pre arrival information, and I had to reach out several times before he responded. I’ve never had an issue reaching out to property manager/owners before. Was very disappointed. Although the property was nice, clean and in an excellent location, I’m sorry to say we won’t be staying there again.

First time Vrbo customers. Central location was great!. Room 206 should have listed that there were 2 bedrooms upstairs. Nice layout with a powder room bath room on the first floor. Large bathroom with soaker tub on second level. Sleeper sofa was ok. Beds upstairs were comfortable. Very quiet and restful. Coffee maker and tea pot there. You need to bring your own K cup coffee and tea bags. We went there to ride the train to Silverton and explore purgatory ski resort. Farmers market was there on saturday. Impressive. 4 City blocks of food, vendors and crafts. Around the corner from the condo was the ice cream store. You have to go there. They have the best bavarian chocolate ice cream. Stitches, the quilting store, had some wonderful ideas/projects to explore. And finally the fudge store on main street. Awesome chocolate fudge.

Our stay in Durango was amazing. The apartment was in the perfect location and within walking distance to pretty much anything you wanted to do. Close to the train station, shopping and restaurants. We really appreciated the parking spot because downtown Durango parking can be tricky.

Great location with good in town parking adjacent to the building. Unit was clean and matched listing. Good internet and had everything you needed. Beds were good as well as bathroom. Would recommend this unit.

Location, location, location !

Historic Durango condo was the perfect location to walk to many bars, restaurants and shops downtown. Proximity to Main Ave made it easy for group of 6 to come and go. The condo was clean, nicely decorated and seemed more spacious than it appeared in VRBO pictures. property manager was responsive. I would definitely stay here again.

Perfect spot by Main Street

We loved the location of this condo, right in the heart of Main street Durango. With 3 woman staying, we had plenty of room to be comfortable. The 2nd 1/2 bath was a huge plus. Condo was very clean, had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable.

Celebration of Life for Jim Puff

We had a perfect time in Durango staying at this suite. Very comfortable and everything we needed in the kitchen. Our host, Johnathan was easily accessible and very helpful! I ran into him on the stairs one morning and it was like running into an old friend! The location is absolutely perfect for walking around Historic Durango shops and restaurants, banks and grocery store. A fun and interesting town! Lots of live music and fantastic food within walking distance. If you are looking for a comfortable and fun place to stay in Durango - this is it!

Great location, we could walk to everything in town. Very clean and well-appointed. We bought a couple of things missing from the kitchen (knife sharpener, meat thermometer, and left them with our son, who lives in Durango), but other than that, everything we needed was here. Kitchen is a little small for. Thanksgiving meal, but we made it work. Dining room table sits only 4, so if you'll have more than that, expect to use the coffee table too. Main reason for only 4 stars is the main room is very dark. Need either additional floor lamps, or ceiling lights. Other than that, a great find.

Perfect location

We loved the location, walking distance to restaurants, shopping, and the train station. Short drive to Durango Hot Springs, and Purgatory Ski area. Also a short drive to Mesa Verde National Park.

Excellent Stay with a perfect location

I booked this particular VRBO based on the location, and it certainly was a perfect spot. Just off Main street with easy walks to shops and restaurants. Also, it was less than 30 minutes to Purgatory Ski resort. As for the property itself, I was very impressed. I loved the fact that I was staying in a building with a fantastic history, but the unit itself was thoroughly updated. Once you were in the unit, you would have guessed you were in a 5-10 space, not 120 years ago. It was well laid out and furnished, with updated appliances. Everything was as good as advertised or better. We would definitely stay here again. The owner of the unit was nice and easy to deal with. He responded quickly to any questions we presented and check-in/check-out could not have been easier.
