Cute suite in the basement of the owner's home. Front door opens into the bedroom. There is a full kitchen and bath as well. Communication with owner was excellent.

In town for a show. Easy walk to venue, drinks, food. The suite was spot on, well appointed, clean, and very cozy, welcome respite between activities. Hosts were fantastic. Would request again next time in town. Thx

Great to have off-street parking, a fridge/microwave/toaster oven, coffee/tea, and a futon where one person can relax if the other is still asleep in the bedroom. Walking distance to several breweries and Biscuit Head, even downtown if the weather was nice. We were grateful for the window a/c, even if we couldn't quite figure out how to make it switch on/off to maintain the programmed temperature.

This apartment was very clean, well furnished, affordable, comfortable, and walking-distance convenient to a number of excellent breweries and restaurants. Please be aware though there is a fairly formidable hill 1/4 mile road to climb up and down to access the above named venues, should you decide to walk. I am 69 and in average physical shape, and I was able to make the foot journey fine, but walking might be problematic for some people. Regardless, the apartment is centrally located in Asheville where you want to be.10/10.

Cute little downstairs apartment! We really enjoyed our stay on the South Slope while attending Billy Strings concerts. It’s perfect for a couple looking to go downtown.

We loved the place. It was quiet and cozy with easy walking access to downtown Asheville. It was well equipped with all the amenities we could need. The host was responsive and we would definitely stay again.

Clean, efficient, nice appointments, great location. Amazing views and a neat set of flowers and fun garden, as well.Really enjoyed being in the heart of South Slope. If you’re a brewery fan, there are tons within a few minutes of walking. Lots to do around the area and Asheville, also.

We stayed here for a weekend getaway. It was close (10 min walk) to downtown shops and breweries. Parking was available off street which was a plus.

Great place to stay in Asheville NC

Great location, close to activities of interest, art studios, restaurants, brewpubs, and hiking. Very clear communication with host. Tastefully decorated rental with all of the amenities we needed. Would stay here again.

Weekend Getaway

The location is great, just a 10-20 minute walk to anywhere downtown. Just off the beaten path, so it’s an affordable and quiet place to stay, equipped with all basic needs. Just as advertised :)
