Private beach located at the end of the driveway! Located between the private beach and the tidal river Rachel Carson Wildlife Nature Preserve you’ll have the best of both worlds. Truly a real Maine experience. Weekly rental in summer & 6 month rental Sept-May ($3,450) Relax on the enclosed porch and sip your morning cup of coffee while viewing the sun sparkle off the ocean. Knotty pine paneling, vaulted/beamed ceilings, three bedrooms, one and one-half baths, fully equipped large kitchen, (microwave, dishwasher, stove/oven, gas grill, washer/dryer, coffee maker, lobster pot). Spacious family living with two queen beds and 2 twin beds, all brand-new furnishings throughout the home. Join your family for homemade dinners at the table or step outside to fire up the gas grill for summer barbecues on the deck. Walk to the river access and kayak or walk the nature trail. Just 15 minutes to the activities at Kennebunkport where you’ll find fishing charters and quaint shopping, with area restaurants featuring great Maine seafood and other native dishes. The area also features many golf courses and only 25 minutes south of Portland which offer more great restaurants and nightlife for adults and 25 minutes from Old Orchard Beach’s amusement park, beaches and boardwalks. 40 minutes to outlet shopping in Kittery or Freeport, home to LL Bean.

Granite Point Biddeford, ME

We had a wonderful stay at Granite Point. Place was beautiful and peaceful. Beautiful beach and the nicest hosts. Highly recommend this place.

Great house

Clean, comfortable beds, walk to the beach, within an hour of everywhere we wanted to see. We thoroughly enjoyed our first trip to Maine.

Granite Point hidden gem

This is a wonderful family-oriented vacation home. Everything you would need in a comfortable, spacious property with a gorgeous view, and in a choice location on the Maine coast.

Matte Family Biddeford ME Vacation

Shirley and Norman were wonderful guests. They were very friendly and followed our house rules. They did extra cleaning before they checked out which we appreciated. The weather wasn't the greatest during their visit but I hope they enjoyed their stay. We welcome them back any time.

Hidden Gem!

We loved our stay! Joyce and her family were wonderful and went above and beyond in providing everything we could need. The house was perfect for a Maine retreat and we loved being steps from the beach. An easy drive to Kennebunkport and Portland. We would absolutely return!

Granite Point stay.

This was such a peaceful setting with a wonderful view of the ocean from the enclosed porch. Plenty of room indoors for the family to spend time together. Large kitchen area and supplies ( pots, pans, dishes, etc.) made meal prep easy. It was just a short walk across the road to a private beach area. Joyce, our host, responded quickly to any questions.

Joanne and her family were great guests. They took excellent care of our home, washed towels, etc., and left it very clean. I would definitely welcome them back in the future. They were a pleasure to have as guest.

What a great hide away. The perfect place to stay. Private beach was huge bonus.

Renting was easy the only issue for us was the added cost of $312 service fee. That seemed a bit extreme.

Great stay in biddeford

My family it enjoyed our stay at Joyce’s house. It’s large enough that our family of four was able to stretch out comfortably. While we ate out mostly it was nice to have the large table to sit together and have breakfast. There is a nice sized beach right across the road which is not crowded (great for our kids). you get a view of the ocean from the front room and being able to listen to the water is a nice touch at nighttime. It’s also conveniently located…not too far from all the restaurants in biddeford and kennebunks. Joyce was a great host and it was nice to be able to meet her in person. Very responsive and she provides everything one would need for a comfortable stay. Also the guide to the area she provided was super helpful.

Wonderful beach access to beautiful private beach

This house has possibly the best access we’ve ever had to the two private beaches at Hoyt’s Neck. Our hosts provided some very thoughtful amenities, including linens, basic cooking spices and coffee, and towels. The beds were very comfortable and the sheets and pillows of good quality. There were games for the kiddos, and everything you needed for a full at-home lobster feast. The hosts were also very friendly and welcoming (they live next door).

dream getaway

My daughters and granddaughter and myse loved the cottage. so comfortable and inviting. It was clean and well stocked with amenities . This was something I have wanted to do for years but could not afford it.. Finally saved up enough to have my dream come true. We so enjoyed the beach.. People were very friendly. We enjoyed having our morning coffee on the sunporch every morning and watching the tide coming or going. We would definitely recommend this vacation home to all our friends.

Lovely Spot

This house is in the perfect spot. Small private beach was clean and almost empty. Loved being able to bike or walk down to the wildlife refuge. We have 2 teenagers and it was great to not worry about where they were going as there were plenty of options for bike riding, etc . Highly recommend.

Incredible

I hate to be so honest, trying to keep this place a secret, but this place is the best of everything. It was super clean with a great floor plan. There was a super private deck, enclosed porch, cathedral living room, kitchen and dining room, plenty of cabinets and counter space, super comfortable beds, all rooms on one floor but spread out nicely and a great yard. But best of all was access to the private beach. About 200' down the driveway is a white sand cove with gentle waves, perfect for our 2 grandkids, 6 and 4. Other families with kids made it ideal, too but the beach is big enough for real privacy, too. Strongly recommend it.

Great house, mean biting flies

The biting flies were a drag, but the property is very nice. So close to the beach. Not the owners fault but something should be done about those biting flies because it made a beautiful beach a hard place to hang out.

Thank you for staying at our home and glad you enjoyed it. So sorry about the biting flies. I guess it's part of beach life in Maine in July. They seem to just go away in August and it's more enjoyable at the beach. We hope you will consider our home again in the future... perhaps in August.
