This beautiful home has an open floor plan and sits in the heart of Donegal Bay with 155 feet of sandy beach. No need to drive to a beach when it’s right in your front yard! Enjoy the views of the outer Islands from the screened in porch or sunroom or out on the decks. This is a 4 bedroom home that sleeps 8: 2 queen beds, 3 twins one being bunk beds with a trundle. 2,860 square feet of living space, 2¼ miles from town. Fireplace, ceiling fans in all rooms, Laundry room with washer and dryer, Fully equipped kitchen, 2 full baths and 2 half baths; Linens and bath towels provided. Master suite is on the Lower level with 3 bedrooms on the upper level. Outdoor furniture, Gas grill, Satellite TV, DVD player, Wifi and Beautiful Sunsets. Rental (Sunday to Sunday) (off-season rates available, 3 night minimum). Call for rates for parties exceeding 8 and also for Special Events! NO PETS

This house was right on the shore. Nice sandy beach. The house provided many amenities. The best stocked house I have rented on Beaver Island in the 50 years I have been coming here.

Beautiful home

This beautiful home on Donegal Bay was perfect for our group! We loved being right on the beach with beautiful views. The home was beautiful inside! The kitchen was well stocked, bedrooms and 4 bathrooms were very nice and it was an ipen, airy feel. We loved hanging out on the porch and enjoyed the fire pit a few nights as well. I would highly recommend and we hope to stay again next year.

Driftwood

We love our stay at Driftwood. You cannot beat the location or the beach. It’s our second time and hope to return again. We came with two families with a set of grandparents ranging from 70s to 13s. Kids can bike to town. Everyone enjoyed the house!

Most of our ohones would not make outgoing calls and the tv and wifi were spotty. The bech was greaatbut it was cold and windy the entire week

Concerning cellular phone service on Beaver Island (Located out in Lake Michigan 35 miles ) We use AT&T and Verizon her on the Island. They have a tower located in a couple different spots on the Island. Most people can connect and may just get slower service I checked with the owners and the WIFI was working along with the TV when they were previously here As far as the weather, I don't know any human that can control that! I would control it f I could! :) The house is fully equipped: Full kitchen, etc Linens, blankets, pillows, etc Bath Towels We do our best to make the trip out to the Island an enjoyable one as much as possible!

Wonderful

Very clean and plenty of room for 6 adults and 1 child. Great deck, beach access, Amazing sunsets. and great breeze . Easy access to the house and only about 3 miles from town.

Beach House

We had 7 adults in our group and there was room for everyone. Great location and had everything we needed. Nice sandy beach. I don’t know if the group before us left late and there wasn’t enough time to really clean between us and them, but house was not cleaned to expectations. Bathrooms had used bars of soap left in showers. Under the beds and couch looked like they hadn’t been cleaned for months. The downstairs bathroom was missing the door handle which we were not able to find. Upstairs bathroom was also missing the handle but were did find and were able to reattach. There were pictures of a shirtless male over two of the bathrooms with the word “yes.” Not sure if they were supposed to be there so just left those up. The screen back door was taped together, but it worked, so not a big deal. Deck had just been redone and was very nice.

views are amazing!!!

house was very comfortable, it was stocked with everything we needed. Diane, the property manager was wonderful and dropped by to make sure we had everything we needed. The house is steps from the beach and its very private and relaxing.

Great house and location

Great house and location! Had everything we needed. We enjoyed the fireplace since we were there in October. Lots of information on the Island! Easy walk to town from the house! We had a great time!

Better than advertised

Better than advertised, quite impressed with the beach/ location and how it seems protected from the winds. No traffic as it is the first house on a dead end road. Well kept house and property, everything we needed was provided including great advise about the island. Plenty of room in the garage for bikes and scooter. Hope to stay again.

Beaver Island Getaway on Donegal Bay

The property was very easy to find and they as access to the island is only by ferry we got there early. They were very accommodating. The sunsets were beautiful. The property was in a great spot for swimming, biking, and kayaking. We would stay here again.

Perfect getaway

Absolutely beautiful beach house. The kitchen had everything you would need and more. Very clean, comfortable and accommodating for our girls getaway. We will diffidently come again. We were on bikes. It was rainy and cold for our ride back to the ferry. We had to go out of our way to take the trash to the bin. Sorry we had to leave it. This was our only problem. If weather would have been better it wouldn't been an issue.
