Our ocean view studio is located one block to restaurants, the Red Kettle Coffee Shop, shopping and the beach. Our studio is furnished with a queen bed, a trundle bed, full bath, view deck, TV, and off street parking. Pets are welcome-max 2 pets. ($75 one time pet fee.)

A beautiful guest house in a lovely craftsman home. Everything is a short walk away… with easy access to the Highway. It was perfect for us and our pups.

Evac booking !

Such a cute little spot with easy parking and access to everything in the cute town of Summerland and the beach. D'Arcy goes above and beyond to make you feel at home with coffee, water, sodas, snacks waiting for you... Amazing ocean view and adorable little deck. and walking distance to all the best food spots in Summerland and great little hiking trails. It's close to the freeway, but the place is surprisingly quiet at night with the windows closed. She also has a noise machine for you if needed.I forgot my laptop, and D'Arcy went out of her way during work to wrap it up, take it to Fedex, and send it back to me. She was so accommodating to us during a very stressful time and we would love to go back.

Great Little Spot in Relaxed Summerland

Property was immaculately clean and well appointed. Had pretty much everything we needed (including our dog). Easily accessible to all of Santa Barbara and environs (beaches Montecito, Downtown and Goleta/Isla Vista!

Lovely Respite

The Summerland Guest Cottage was a lovely landing spot for us to have a few days of quiet by the beach and with our pup. D’Arcy was a wonderful host. We hope to be back soon for a longer stay.

This is a very special place. It is roomy and very comfortable for a couple, and the hosts have thought of everything to make your stay easier. They were kindly, communicative, and helpful. We came to do some bike riding, and the cottage is right at the base of a beach trail that goes up to the northern sections of SB. We will definitely stay here again!

A Gem!

A great location, great view, and a perfect spot to stay in when visiting the Santa Barbara area. Some really great restaurants, shops and a beach all within walking distance. The unit was stocked with just about everything you could need and the host was extremely friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay here again.

Summerland Great Location

Stayed here two nights: it has a wonderful aura. Everything I needed was thoughtfully provided: good coffee, soft drinks, snacks. Enjoyed the deck in the afternoon sun. I loved being walking distance to restaurants and shopping— saw the Dodgers win the first night of the World Series at the Nugget, breakfast at the Summerland Beach Cafe… I felt like I was part of a friendly, delightful neighborhood!

Perfect for Santa Barbara get away!

This cottage is lovely! It's located walking distance to restaurants and the beach and only 5-10 minutes from downtown Santa Barbara. The space is large, with a very comfortable bed. The owners make you feel very welcome with a generous basket of snacks and a variety of beverages in the fridge. I would definitely stay here again!!

Cozy retreat

Cozy place to stay. Close to many amenities. Perfect for a quick getaway (and not a problem with a pet!). D'Arcy is very communicative. I loved the binder which listed restaurants, hiking trails, and places to visit both locally and in Santa Barbara. There are thoughtful touches. We would love to come back again!

Fantastic place and convenient location

The place was extremely clean, convenient, and perfect for a weekend in Santa Barbara! Its a 10min drive from the Amtrak station which makes for an excellent home base for anything you may want to do around the area. Aside from the great quiet location, its also an incredibly cute guest house with a kind a helpful host. Highly recommend and would gladly stay again myself!

Beach Retreat

A very clean, comfortable, peaceful and pretty quiet (except for a little 101noise, which didn’t bother me, I’m from L A) also thoughtful and useful extras everywhere. There was a trail two doors down that was great that took you on a loop with a fairly good incline to a beautiful meadow with wild flowers and gorgeous views I’d say the loop was just over a mile, perfect for me and my dog, we hiked it 4 times and never saw a soul, we loved it. Perfect location!

This was our second stay here. It is close to the beach. Our dog loves it. Only downside is some traffic noise, but we think the trade off of being blocks from the beach is well worth it.

Very sweet studio within walking distance of downtown Summerland and the beach! Super dog friendly and nice little touches like dog treats, dog and beach towels, and human snacks at the kitchenette!! :)

Great Summerland Getaway- very dog friendly 🐕🐾

Great place to stay especially if you have dogs. Host was awesome, beach where we took our dogs and Summerland was a great little place. Such a peaceful getaway and views of ocean were definitely real. Place was also very clean and comfortable.

Unbeatable location in Summerland

I book A LOT of VRBOs and D’Arcy and her rental just knock it out of the park. A prime location, it does not suck looking out the windows and seeing the ocean from your bedroom. The rental is very easy to find, walking distance to everything Summerland has to offer and a short drive from Santa Barbara. The unit was absolutely spotless and I so appreciate all the small touches (snacks, drinks, even treats for the doggos). D’Arcy thinks of everything. It makes all the difference. You’re going to catch some slight traffic noise from the freeway, but the unit is very private and it shouldn’t disturb your sleep. Our first time in Summerland, we look forward to returning and staying with D’Arcy. 10/10. Would recommend!

We are Mark and D'Arcy Cornwall. We have 2 dogs, Casper and Rocky. We both graduated from UCSB and went to law school in Santa Barbara. We are retired now and love to travel in our RV when not in Summerland. We decided to rent out our guest house as a vacation rental so we could share the joy of this special place with special people. We hope you love Summerland as much as we do.
