Summerland Guest Studio just steps to downtown and the beach! Dog Friendly.

Our ocean view studio is located one block to restaurants, the Red Kettle Coffee Shop, shopping and the beach. Our studio is furnished with a queen bed, sofa bed (full), bath w tub, view deck, TV, and off street parking. Dogs are welcome-max 2 dogs. ($75 flat rate/one time pet fee.)

Lovely and immaculate property, perfect for our weekend sports-parents stay. Really appreciate the extra touches from the hosts: coffee and creamer; snacks; beach towels. Wish we could have stayed longer to explore the adorable neighborhood! Would stay again.

We will definately book here again. We love how close everything is. We also love how peaceful the community is. We were wanting a low key getaway, to rejuivinate, and this property aided in the success of that objective.

This is a lovely efficiency with a view of the ocean. The porch/deck was great to watch the sunset. It is close to the highway, but the noise from traffic at night, even with the windows open, did not bother us. We slept great, the bed is very comfortable. Great restaurants in walking distance and I absolutely recommend Godmother’s for books! I was very pleased with our stay here and would do it again.

Our stay at the Summerland Guest Studio was perfect. We were there to drop off our daughter at UCSB, and used it as a relaxing home base in between moving her in and shopping for supplies. We walked to breakfast and then down to the gorgeous beach one morning. The neighborhood is quiet and the beds are clean and comfortable! All in all, a great stay!

Good, friendly communication. Very clean. Fun porch with view. Coffee, tea, sparkling water and doggie treats greet the visitor. Be aware of footed tub shower and lots of stairs-fun for most folks, tricky for one of us.

Perfect CA beach stay

What’s wonderful place for a couple or a family. We travels with our two adult children for a wedding and this was perfect. If you are traveling with little ones, it will be even better. Why pay for the cost of an overpriced hotel when you can stay here.

This is a lovely guest suite. Excellent location for a relaxing getaway by the beach. Plenty of restaurants near by. I was mostly there by myself with my dog, but two friends joined me for the last day and the place never seemed crowded. The host is most accommodating!

We really enjoyed staying here. The host has thought of so many things you would want being close to the beach. It is walkable and our dog loved frolicking in the waves.

Guest home away from home!

We adored the accommodations and gardens! The place is easy to get on/off the highway and minutes from downtown. The information binder had just what we needed to find things to do and places to eat throughout the area. We will definitely visit again!

We are Mark and D'Arcy Cornwall. We have one dog, Casper. We both graduated from UCSB and went to law school in Santa Barbara. We are retired now and love to travel in our RV when not in Summerland. We decided to rent out our guest house as a vacation rental so we could share the joy of this special place with special people. We hope you love Summerland as much as we do.
