Excellent place!

The house was fantastic, would definitely stay there again. The location was great and the local restaurants were not only really close by but good food as well.

We came into town for a family wedding and there were 5 of us. What a perfect place to stay. The location was perfect, and the accommodations were just as good.

Nice Home for a Getaway

We enjoyed our long weekend at this home. It has a great location with direct access to the Gulf and a nice boat dock. It has good family activities like games, bikes, kayaks, and a swim spa. The home was clean and had everything we needed. We’d love to stay again in the future!

Very roomy home. Lots of amenities.

This home is very efficient, stocked, and fun. If your going to this area you don't want to pass this up. Boat dock is a plus.

Great location!

The house was perfect - I don't think the pictures do it justice. The downstairs area is so much fun - I've never seen anything like it. It would be perfect for a group with younger kids. We were a party of 4 adults but still thought it was super cool. The upstairs balcony is great for relaxing. We even watched an amazing lightning storm there one night.

Two family adventure

Our families visited Hernando Beach to do some scalloping and we had a great time. The house was exactly as pictured. The downstairs area was amazing. We had a great time in the evenings playing the many games that they had there. The kids enjoyed the pool and they had a GREAT time on the kayaks. Plenty of space for our 2 families. We loved it and would visit again.

Hidden Treasure

Great property. Great location. Fun for all ages. The downstairs is amazing. Adults can separate from kids. Boat ramp right around the corner. The sandbar owner recommended is fantastic. Looking forward to coming back to this hidden oasis.

Hernando Beach getaway

We stayed the week of Thanksgiving. We are a family of 5, with children aged 11, 9, and 7. We absolutely loved the house and location. Home is on a canal that connects to a main canal to the gulf. The home is super clean and has every amenity you could need. We would definitely stay again! Thank you Les and Gwen for sharing your beautiful home with us.

Such a fun place!

The house was great! Perfect for our family. We rode the bikes to the restaurant a few minutes away. Found a trail to ride on and rented a boat for a day. We made memories to last a lifetime. Les was quick to respond and was super helpful to answered questions about the local area. Exceeded our expectations.

Great home for fishing and relaxing

We came to visit for a long weekend. The weather was perfect for enjoying coffee on the porch in the mornings, and our older teens had a fantastic time fishing from the docks on the property. The house layout is perfect for the kids to play downstairs while the adults can hangout upstairs or everyone can be downstairs together. We also liked the relaxing atmosphere away from the craziness of Tampa. The homeowners were very responsive when we had questions and an issue with the a/c.

Relaxing

The house and location were great! We had a "crazy" bird that served as our early morning alarm clock 😂! The master bathroom door is full glass. We had to make sure the curtains on sliding door from master bedroom to balcony were closed for any bathroom breaks with small kids around. Overall, great place!

Hernando Beach paradise

What a great property! Comfortable beds and linens, well appointed kitchen and lots of fun extras! Ideally located on canal - rented a pontoon boat at the nearby Hernando Beach hotel and was able to dock in front of the house. Saw dolphins, rays, and manatees during a great day on the water. Host graciously accommodated late addition of extra guests. Lower level is made for fun; bikes, foosball table, games and children’s DVDs and plenty of room! Beachy decor and festive outdoor lighting add to the charm. Highly recommend!

So peaceful

The house is simply amazing!! It was everything I had wanted and more. It was so nice to fish off the decks with my boys. The coffee from the balcony in the mornings was the best coffee I have ever had in my life. The game room and bar area was great for nights we spent in. It was perfect for the entire family. There is water right outside so please with your little ones watch them. All and all a 5 star and will definitely keep this an option when we are in the area visiting family again.

Really enjoyed our time in this lovely home!

We stayed for 3 nights. Les was very responsive! House interior was clean! Kitchen was well equipped. It rained heavily one day so it was nice to have the indoor swim/hot tub and games to occupy us. We went kayaking on the Chassahowitzka River which is about 30 min north. Saw manatees! Enjoyed the seven sisters cold, crystal clear spring. Appreciated the second story deck so we could watch sunset. The Canal the house is on seemed brackish, which led us to go to the spring fed rivers for clear water kayaking. I am sure if we kayaked out to the ocean from the house it would have led to clear water, but since it rained one day we did not attempt that journey. Might rent a pontoon boat if we come back to this area again.

Hernando Beach trip

The house itself was nice and had plenty of room for everyone. We enjoyed the pool, cooking out, fishing off the dock, and gathering in the down stairs area. We arrived our first day about 2:00pm and realized it was hotter than usual inside. I messaged the owners to confirm it was ok to adjust the air. We went on with cooking and entertaining ourselves down stairs. After a few hours we went back upstairs to find it was 86 degrees. I reached out to the owners once more and explained what was going on. The owner called me and laughed at me as if I didn't know how to use the thermostat. He said he would send his handy man out to take a look which resulted in him having to call a heating and air company. We were told they would be out between 6am -7 am to fix the problem. The next morning there was no sign of anyone to fix it so I contacted the owners, again. I explained that it was miserablely hot all through the night and we had guest who slept outside and even in their car to stay cool. All the owner offered was to call another air man to come out. It was late afternoon before the problem was fixed. Overall we had a good time but I personally wouldn't stay here again.

It was a beautiful, comfortable home! Loved the theme decorations inside and out, especially the downstairs game room and bar (although it could get a little warm down there compared to the rest of the house). Plenty of space to hang together or spend peaceful time alone, whether it's in the cool shade of the upstairs balcony or getting sun on the backyard dock. The host was easy to communicate with as well, no issues!

Sorry to hear.It was downstairs a little hot for you. there is a mini split down there.You must not have seen it to keep it down cool
