Adorable Guest House walking distance to Historic St. Augustine!

Charming guest house walking distance to all that downtown St Augustine has to offer. Built in 2017, this one bedroom, one bath, 500 SF apartment is located above our garage to accommodate guests in their own private setting. This property is an easy walk to both Uptown and Downtown St Augustine attractions. There are many restaurants just a short walk away including River and Fort, Raintree, Juniper Market, Borillo s pizza, Luli s cupcakes, and Mojos BBQ just to name a few.
This property includes a king size bed, 12 foot ceilings, ceiling fans, central heat & air, endless hot water on demand, 2 large screen smart TVs and high speed WIFI
Enjoy your own private entry to this upstairs apartment (approx 20 steps) with reserved, on site parking. This property does not have cable TV. The smart TVs have antenna reception which provides a hi def picture and receives all the major networks.
The kitchen does not include a range. There is a built in microwave, toaster oven and a griddle.
Downtown St. Augustine is best navigated on foot. Bicycles are not recommended as there are no safe provisions made for them on the roads or sidewalks.

Everything was perfect from the decorations, the cleanliness, and the location. We were able to walk to everything had a great time. We will definitely stay here next time we visit. They also included very clear directions to get to the rental and checkout was super easy.

Absolutely amazing! Ali and Melody made us feel absolutely welcomed for our birthday weekend celebration. Clean and cozy walking distance to the historic district. We will definitely book with them again.

Our host Melody was phenomenal. Responded swiftly to all our questions, made check in and check out a breeze, and fully stocked the kitchen and bathroom with necessities to make us feel at home. The guest house is beautifully kept, clean and quiet! Especially loved lounging in the comfy robes. We had a blast!

Fabulous Rental!

My daughter and I stayed in the Uptown Shack. It was so nice and clean! It was beautifully decorated! The bed was very comfortable. Our host, Melody, sent clear instructions and directions. She greeted us when we arrived. She also made homemade cookies for us and left us some of their local honey. There were snacks and drinks available to us in the rental. It was walkable to all of the things we wanted to do in St. Augustine. We loved this rental and would definitely stay again!!

Great stay at Uptown Shack.

We had a wonderful time in St. Augustine. The Uptown Shack is a beautiful place to stay. Its’s clean, walking distance to everything we wanted to do and the hosts went beyond tp provide snacks, homemade cookies and most importantly bottled water!! If you get a chance, stay here. You won’t be sorry.

Cozy little place!

Cute & cozy guest house. Short walking distance to St George Street and downtown St Augustine. 15 min drive to Vilano beach. Lots of yummy restaurants near by. We would recommend The Columbia Restaurant, but be sure to make a reservation if you’re going for dinner on a weekend. Would recommend this place for a nice little getaway!

Fantastic place to stay!

Sandi and I really enjoyed our stay. The apartment has everything you would ever need. It’s decorated beautifully and every item is top-notch! The location is close to downtown and we walked each day to all the shops and restaurants. We will definitely be back the next time we head to St. Augustine! Thank you for helping make our anniversary and birthday special!

Great Place

We loved the condo. It was very clean and the local was close enough to walk to historic areas. The only thing we didn’t care for was the scented products in the condo. We both have allergies and we didn’t react well to the perfume smell.

Great Experience

It is a great location to stay if you are wanting to walk around St Augustine. Driving and parking uptown is a bit crazy and something we wanted to avoid. The property is close enough to town to comfortably walk but far enough to not be noisy. The property is very well taken care of and clean.

Top notch rental

We have never stayed in a rental as updated, clean, upscale amenities , and welcoming. They provided everything and more including homemade cookies. The bed is very comfortable too. In addition it’s walking distance to everything St. Augustine has to offer. Great hostess. Very easy check in with clear directions from Melody. Highly recommend for visiting St Augustine.

Perfect St Augustine getaway

The owners have thought of everything! Comfy bed, remote shade on windows, phone chargers next to the bed, fluffy towels, and even a treat of chocolate chip cookies. We walked to restaurants and shops. Lovely weekend in St Augustine and would stay here again.

A perfect home base

Melody and Ali have created a fantastic home away from home in St Augustine. We come to the area often for family visits and this is by far our most comfortable stay. The Uptown Shack is the perfect combination of cozy and luxurious. And the location simply can't be beat. :-)

This was an amazing place to stay. My husband and spent our 1 year wedding anniversary there and we could not have found a better hotel/airbnb! The price was perfect for the location, amenities, and cleanliness. It had plenty of space for 2 but would recommend for even 4 people to stay! It was quiet and a short walk from the start of downtown St. Augustine! Would highly recommend and definitely stay here again!
