Located on beautiful Anastasia Island, this 1920's fully renovated luxury apartment is walking distance to historic St Augustine via the Bridge of Lions and biking distance to St Augustine Beach. In the early Florida boom period of the 1920's, British developer D.P. Davis fell in love with St. Augustine and designed the Davis Shores neighborhood right over the Bridge of Lyons on Anastasia Island.

Excellent property

The condo was very clean and amenities very good. Only real drawback was we didn’t realize how many steps to get up to the condo. But we are in our seventies. Shouldn’t be a problem for younger folks. Chris, our property manager, was most helpful in getting our luggage upstairs and downstairs. He is very friendly.

Neat & Clean & central

Covered all of our needs with easy access to historical St.Augustine an easy walk away. Cool historical building itself but nicely kept up with updated unit with comfortable furnishings. Perfect for our stay.

Great Stay

We had a great stay @ Anastasia Grand. The apartment was super clean, comfortable and quiet. It is located within walking distance to the historical spots in downtown St. Augustine. We would definitely stay here again.

We had a marvelous time! What a great location… walking over the Bridge of Lions to be in town!

It was very clean and comfortable! We got our steps in walking into town and up the stairs. We were so pleased with everything. Our host, Chris, was very reachable when we had a small problem.

Great location - highly recommend

Very pleased with the furnishings, bedding, and towels. Home was very clean and equipped with some coffee, sugar, creamer, bath soap & shampoo, bottled water and even some snacks. Location is perfect because it is in a quiet neighborhood and you could walk to St. Augustine downtown.

Great apartment in good location

The property is large, light with all the amenities you will need, the wife would like a TV in the bedroom and a full length mirror though. Parking not an issue. Only a 15 minute walk over the bridge of Lions to the town centre where there are a ton of bars and restaurants

Wonderful birthday get-away!

I needed a break from work and "life"...LOL! Anyway, it was a great place and perfect for the 2 of us. We enjoyed seeing old St. Augustine and it was just over the bridge...literally! Shopping was not far away, and there are plenty of places to enjoy eating out. Really enjoyed the lighthouse! I'd come back to this place every time!

Short Stay

Just needed a few days to myself. The location was perfect, nice and quiet neighborhood. Easy to get to, lots of restaurants within walking distance on a nice sunny day. Definitely will be staying again if available. I had to re-schedule for a later date and the owner work with me on rescheduling; which was much appreciated.

Beautiful apt/condo

Super cloae to downtown St. Augustine. Nice quiet neighborhood with parking streetside. Beautiful abode perfect for a weekend getaway with your spouse.

Clean, modern, convenient, cozy!

This was a great place for us to get away. Fantastic location in a quiet neighborhood that is very convenient to the best restaurants and downtown is a short walk away over the Bridge of Lions. Lots of room in this updated upstairs condo!

Middle of everything such a great place

We really enjoyed our stay in the upstairs apartment. It is within walking distance of the Lion's Bridge so a short walk over the bridge and you are right there at the shopping district so no need to pay for parking if you don't mind walking. If you don't mind paying for parking, everything is only a 5 minute drive. We ate at Sarbez and played some pinball, then on our last day we ate at O'Steen's, both are only a 10 minute walk. The bed is okay, my wife and I slept comfortably, it was a King size single mattress of memory foam. We prefer a box spring and coil mattress, but again for a few nights it's fine. The apartment has everything you need for a comfortable stay, and the complimentary snacks and water was a nice touch. Everything was clean and ready. We rented a pontoon from Grant at Wake 2 Wake for 2 hours that was also enjoyable. We would definitely do this again. Thank you for your hospitality! Greg and Nina.

Fantastic Stay

Would definitely recommend. The place was spotless, so many wonderful small touches to make our stay easier. Location is fantastic - we walked easily to the historic district each morning across the bridge and it was a quick drive to the beach. Quiet neighborhood too. The host was very communicative and responsive.

Nice place but not comfortable for us

Very clean, beautifully renovated. But we never felt alone there. We could hear the conversations of the people below, which made us feel the need to whisper to each other for privacy, which is not relaxing at all. Bed and pillows were not at all comfortable. Outdoor space didn't feel welcoming or private. Location was excellent. Overall lovely apartment, but never felt 100% comfortable there.

Our Stay...

This was our first visit to St. Augustine. The location of this home was key to a very enjoyable stay! Our days were spent roaming Anastasia Island; beach, lighthouse, biking and kayaking. In the early evenings we would walk across the Bridge of Lions to explore the downtown and have dinner! The walk, and views, enhanced our stay! Chris answers all questions, including great restaurant suggestions.

Perfect weekend getaway

This property is the perfect size for a couple and is only walking distance to downtown (super cool to turn a corner and be able to walk over the bridge), as well as just a few minute drive to the beach. We really enjoyed our little weekend getaway. The neighborhood was quiet as well. We would definitely stay at this condo again.
