1/2 Loft Cottage * Full Kitchen* Sleeps 6: 1 King, 2 Twin, 1 Queen Sleeper Sofa * Electric Fireplace * Children welcome * No Pets *

This cottage "Ace of Hearts" a private two-story Fredericksburg TX property in a peaceful country neighborhood, just a short drive to Main Street. On the first floor is a welcoming den with a leather sleeper sofa, leather recliner, and a large TV complete with Dish Satellite selections, DVD/CD player. Guests can enjoy the Bose CD Sound System along with a electric fireplace, with no mess. An Open concept with full kitchen and dining area.
Guests will find a spacious master bedroom with king size bed, private bathroom with a Tuscan tiled shower and access to porch, perfect for viewing the plentiful deer and birds.
Beyond the kitchen is a downstairs bathroom complete with tiled shower. Upstairs in the loft overlooking the den, are two twin beds, bringing Ace of Hearts total occupancy to 6 people. This is the perfect place for a couple seeking a quiet time alone, or for a group of friends and family to celebrate or create new memories!

This property is prices for 2 guests, additional guests will be $35 per night.

Security Deposit will be refunded if no damage are done to the property and if additional guests were reported.

Such a beautiful place to stay. It is not far from Main Street, so you get the best of both worlds by being out in the country yet still close to town. The place has everything you would need in the kitchen and bathrooms. The deer visit regularly and the hosts are great in communicating with you. This was my second time to stay there and the place has been amazing both times. I would highly recommend!

Another Great Stay

This is our second stay at this house and we love it! It's perfect for our girls weekend. We love sitting on the back porch and watching the deer and hummingbirds. The setting is so peaceful. Thanks for another great stay!

Glad you enjoyed yourselves!! We discovered after you left the TV had a problem turning on. Hit or miss. We had the Dish repair man check it out, and we had to install a new TV. So please come again, and we hope you were not imposed by this mishap.

Perfect Get Away

This home was perfect for our girls weekend. Close to town but a country feel. We loved having our morning coffee with the deer and hummingbirds. Charming home that had everything we needed. We look forward to staying here again!

Peaceful Getaway

We enjoyed our stay in this quiet, peaceful location that's close enough to town that it's easy to enjoy Fredericksburg. We loved the deer and birds. The house was perfect for us four girls. Can't wait to come back sometime when the flowers are blooming.

Complete quiet and solitude

We absolutely loved our time in Fredericksburg! This property is amazing…absolutely no outside noise, the deer come out every evening to eat, and the house is so comfy! We will definitely be back.

Very enjoyable stay

Ace of hearts was just what we were looking for. Close to town but away from the noise. Very peaceful area with deer, birds & a sweet kitty who visited. House was cozy & had everything we needed. Host thought of everything.

Time away

This was a great location if you enjoy a quiet peaceful location near Fredericksburg. Quick trip into town or surrounding areas. Place felt like home so cozy and well equipped with kitchen essentials. Upon our arrival we were greeted by a herd of deer. We needed to stay an extra day due to adverse weather. Host was very accommodating. Would stay there again!

Beautiful home and delightful stay

The home was clean and well-supplied. It does not have a screened back porch as the listing states, which turned out to be fine. We loved the serenity of the location and sitting out on the front or back porch to enjoy the deer, rabbits, and birds. We are already looking at our calendar to see when we can return.

We love Ace of Hearts!!

Ace of Hearts is not too far from town, and we enjoy the peaceful neighborhood. We LOVE watching the deer outside the house! This cottage is just the right size for me & my husband, and very clean and comfortable. This was our 3rd stay! We'll be back!

Clean and quiet with a wildlife view!

We visit family once a year and like to stay where we are out of town, but not too far. Ace of Hearts was perfect! The deer and birds in the back were enjoyed every evening. One day we left out and went the opposite way of town to take in the scenery on the way to Enchanted Rock, great drive. Eveyrthing was clean, comfortable, and so so peaceful.

Trade Days

My husband & I brought our BFFs along with our daughter-in-law, our second son & his girlfriend for Trade Days. We enjoyed the house, Fredericksburg and as always everything about the Hill Country.

We’re back

Every year the “Ya-Ya’s” (4 in all) travel from other places in TX to Fredericksburg. Like many, we skipped last year, but this year we were back!!! This property was a great place to start again!! It was far enough out of town to feel like we were in the country, but close enough that it didn’t take up precious “shopping time” to get to town. Thank you for a lovely, peaceful stay.

Country Living

The location in a country neighborhood is so peaceful! The house is nicely decorated and has plenty of room for four friends to sleep and visit. The host provides nice touches throughout the house - plenty of towels and toiletries, snacks, and a bottle of wine in the fridge. As one of my friends said, "The place lacked nothing".

Extra fees

It was great. Didnt like the extra fees of nearly 200.00 for lodging & cleaning fees. We always take extra care staying in someone elses home because of their generosity and leave it in a clean condition.

Wonderful little cabin for relaxing!

Our family visited the cabin after Christmas for a few days to spend in Fredericksburg and had a wonderful time. The cabin was just as described and stocked with all the necessary things! She also left us a nice treat! The loft area is great for kids and nice spacious master bedroom and bathroom. The neighborhood was nice and quiet and the deer came right up to the backyard to feed on the corn she gave us to put out over the days we were there. They are nicely fed now thanks to my son who loves nature! The patio was also nice! We have been to Fredericksburg before so we knew where to go mostly but we found a new place to show our son in Johnson City which was a zoo safari place. We all enjoyed this very much. We had some nice meals at Jennie's Smokehouse burgers (really good!), Auslander Restaurant (yummy German food), and Alamo Springs Cafe. The latter is way out in the middle of nowhere but well worth the drive and staff are friendly.. its a nice small town cafe! There is a lot to do in Fritztown but the place was also relaxing for those moments we just needed some down time. WE would definitely return again when coming to Fredericksburg!
