Poipu Palms

Beautiful location and property! Host was wonderful and great at communication. No A/C so if you need to sleep in a temperature regulated place, probably not for you. Our room temp at night was 77 degrees which was a little too warm.

Would not rent here again.

Saw a roach and took a picture of it in the bathroom. The property manager was dismissive of my concerns about it. Spent many vacations and also lived in the tropics for two years. Never saw a roach in any of my accomodations and residences. For the price per night, I'm not paying to see a single roach. Had no issue at a less expensive hotel, on the beach, first floor in Kuaui.

Wonderful place

Great place, staying here second year in a row. Great location, wonderful view, the place has everthing you need to stay in Poipu area. Removing one point was because the contact from the property management company was not super helpful or responsive. All in all highly recommend staying in this place and I would love to come back here in the future.

Great place with a nice ocean view

The property is an excellent choice for the value! Located near the beaches so you can walk there. Very quiet and your neighbors around you are also very nice and quiet. Our host, Nani, was extremely responsive and helpful whenever we had questions. Plenty of beach gear in the storage room on the lanai. Plenty of supplies in the locker chest on the lanai but if you need anything just text, Nani…she’ll take care of it. Pretty secure location…super safe to walk around at night or down to the beach. Overall family and I loved the property and the area. I highly recommend this property!

A lovely property and prime Poipu location

Loved it! The condo is stylishly appointed and had everything we needed for our weeks stay including all kitchen/bath needs, laundry, beach towels, boogie boards etc. It felt secure and safe. Everyone we encountered (owners & renters) were kind and considerate. Parking was always available. We loved being able to walk to Brennecke beach for boogie boarding. You can walk a bit further to check out additional hotels and restaurants. The Heritage trail is the other direction-a very cool coastal hike. All in all a great location for good weather (less rain) and close by activities! Two thumbs up!

Great location and view

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The apartment is fully equipped and nicely decorated. Close to nice beaches and restaurants, and the ocean view is awesome. Only comment on cleaning is that the floor felt sticky, maybe needed an extra effort due to the proximity to ocean salty wind.Highly recommend.

Great location, walkable and pool/deck is amazing

We had a great time, condo is stocked w/ everything. It was amazing to sit on the deck, morning coffee and sunset cocktails. The management team was so helpful. If you have a problem they go above and beyond. Will definitely come back.

Great open views and relaxing atmosphere

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our family of 4 spent 5 days at PP102 and really enjoyed the experience. There was plenty of room for all and the kitchen was well equipped with everything to create various meals. There were boogie boards for the kids and beach chairs for the adults, and even though the walk to the beach was about 10 min., it was enjoyable. There were several areas to explore within a 10 minute walk along the coast each morning. This was our 3 time at this complex and we would stay again.

Great Time

Everything we hoped for! Worked great as a home base for our family of 4. Enjoyed morning coffee and breakfast on the lanai, and dips in the pool and stargazing from the shared deck space at the end of the day. Had all the typical sounds of condo life - a little construction work going on, some footsteps overhead, families on vacation - but also the constant sound of waves crashing below. Not a bad deal. The condo had everything we needed and was conveniently located. I’d stay here again if we come back to Poipu but we might try up north next time. Enjoy!

Great location and beautiful view

The property was clean and the on-island host was responsive with communications. Upon arrival you are greeted with a beautiful view of the garden and the Pacific Ocean. There were a couple pending maintenance issues/ parts had been ordered and during our stay a repair to the dryer we're made. The property is in a great location, and the view is 10/10!

Slice of Paradise

A perfect get-away on the south side of Kauai. The view from the unit was spectacular. The unit was clean and had everything we needed. The pool area was beautiful and all the maintenance workers were very friendly. Would definitely stay again. Mahalo.

Sweet condo near Poipu Beach

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Condo was exactly as described online. Outdoor decks, pool, and tropical landscaping set this Condo above others in the area. Exceptionally clean with comfortable beds, 2 bathrooms, all essential kitchen cookware, dishes, beach gear, and plenty of space for a family. We ate meals out on the deck overlooking the ocean, and on the lanai. Saw turtles, humpback whales and beautiful sunsets all from the deck! Kids enjoyed the pool. Other guests we talked with were friendly and shared their travel experiences on Kauai. All appliances worked well and we were grateful to have a washer/ dryer. Ceiling fans worked well, and no need for AC.Communication from property managers and on island host was informative and clear.Would recommend to friends and relatives.This area is mostly larger Condo complexes, and we really liked that this one was only 12 units.We enjoyed Poipu beach for snorkeling,and swimming. Nearby hike to Makauwahi cave and adjacent beach was cool too! Seeing Waimea Canyon, Spouting horn, swinging bridge and small town stores in Hanapepe, and Salt Pond Beach were all highlights of our time on the Southside of Kauai. Enjoyed the stores in Old Koloa town too. Minor improvement- screen door needs maintenance or replacement.

Reviewer Comments: There were some general maintenance issues that could be improved, but overall, my daughter and I had a wonderful Kauai visit for Hawaiian Eye and Retina conference. The issues were:1. Stinky sinks2. Moldy washing machine3. Sliding glass door to lanai needs to be replaced4. Very noisy dryer; maybe out of balance?5. Grubby baseboards and window sills6. Master bath towel rack set screws missing causing rack to fall offLittle stuff that is easily fixed.Comfy bedsThe property manager was very responsive to texts.

Poipu town "A Great Place" to stay location wise.

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Easy access through the "Lock Box" system. The property grounds are well-groomed. Would not stay in a first-floor unit again, heard a lot of walking above us. Had a view of the Ocean but would have to move to the pool area for sunsets, no biggie really. We were fortunate enough to see a humpback whale jump one morning from our Lanai.
