Relax and Enjoy your time at the Lake

"Lamoka Getaway" is a newly renovated beautiful lakeside home with 2 spacious bedrooms and 1 bath featuring stunning views of Lamoka Lake. The large landing and 70’ of lakefront are ideal for swimming and boating. You’ll enjoy the open floor plan and the home features a large deck, dedicated space for dining and kitchen, outdoor seating with a fire pit. The living room, with a futon for additional sleeping, has amazing views of the lake, like a postcard. Each room has a ceiling fan and the cottage has central air. For your convenience, you'll have access to wi-fi, outdoor gas grill, a large parking area, and a boat dock. We also have 3 kayaks and 1 canoe for our guest to use. Enjoy the evening sun from this eastern shore location or take a short walk to the local bar/restaurant.

Lamoka lake is also centrally located in the Finger Lakes' wine region with several micro breweries popping up and is 20 minutes from Watkins Glen, 35 minutes from Corning, NY, 20 mins to large grocery store for your convenience. Lamoka Lake is also connected to Waneta Lake through a channel so you can enjoy both lakes. Also, there is state land with thousands of acres and miles of hiking trails within minutes, and it's only 20 mins away from Watkins Glen State Park with awesome gorge and waterfall hikes for the avid hike as well as the Watkins Glen International raceway for race enthusiast. Golfers would enjoy the 10 minute drive to two different golf courses in the Finger Lakes.

A very clean and cozy cabin by the lake. It is spotless and well-equipped with everything you need for daily life. Check-in was smooth, Robin was a huge help, and Edward responded immediately whenever we had questions. The nearby attractions are centrally located, and shopping or driving to Watkins Glen is very convenient. A highly recommended lakefront cabin!

Love this property! We just returned for the second time and only have positive things to say. The home has everything you could ask for and more! You can’t beat the location, cleanliness and amenities. The hosts are attentive, easy to reach and super helpful. We will be back again.

We spent three nights here in mid September. It was so peaceful and relaxing and during the week it felt like we had the lake to ourselves. We kayaked, fished, and relaxed on the patio by the water and read books. While in the area we hiked at the state parks. Ed & Robin are great hosts and take a lot of pride in there place. Everything was very clean and functional. Hope to come back in the future.Bill & Linda Simon

Ed and Robin are perfect hosts! The house is lovely, clean, and has everything you need. If you can’t find it, all you have to do is ask the neighbors (the owners). Lamoka Lake is a wonderful setting that is perfectly located out of the way but close enough to do everything you want. We couldn’t have asked for a better vacation spot.

Absolutely beautiful views!! Such a relaxing and peaceful getaway for my family of 4. We used the kayaks at the house and went for walks around and the area. It’s a quick drive to Watkins glen and to go jet skiing. Ed and Robin are such wonderful hosts. House was very clean and we all felt extremely safe there.We will be back.

We enjoyed our stay so much! The house was perfect, we loved the kayaks and building a fire at night after using the grill. The area is great, we were able to travel to many destinations in close proximity.Ed & Robin were so kind, and very informative! Anything we needed they were able to assist with.I would definitely recommend this home, and if I return I would definitely stay at Ed & Robin’s

Ed and Robin were attentive, friendly, and professional hosts. The property was clean and ready for our visit, and despite significant travel delays on our part the late arrival accommodated with kindness. The kitchen was outfitted with everything we could need, including common cooking needs such as foil, ziplock bags, etc. The grill was in perfect working order with gas provided. The kayaks were ship-shape and lifejackets were available. The view was lovely, the location was close to many major attractions and our time away was wonderful. We will be returning. Recommended.

We had a good time relaxing, kayaying, and canoeing. Granddaughter had fun catching fish and swimming. It's a neat little place, hosts are very nice.

Great place to chill out.

We have stayed here several times and really enjoy it each and every time. The property owners are wonderful and make your stay fun. The small lake is beautiful and very peaceful. You will not regret staying here.

Great cottage on Lamoka Lake!

This is our second time staying at this cottage. We love that it is right across the street from the lake, has a lot of outdoor space,central air and is close to our family and friends. Robin and Ed are perfect hosts, so friendly and were quick to respond to anything we needed.

Cozy and convenient

We had a great stay at this location. The hosts were very accommodating and always were available if needed. The place has a great view of the lake and there is a dock if you want to kayak or swim. We had 4 people and felt that it was plenty comfortable. I would recommend this place to stay and would stay again.

Our family had a great stay at this property. The home was very clean and conveniently located on Lamoka Lake. The check-in process was easy and the owner very friendly and helpful. The kitchen is typical of a cottage and was equipped with a combo keurig/coffee pot. There are kayaks, a fire ring, and a grill available too.

Quiet lakeside cottage

Had a nice time at the cottage. My kids (age 16, 13, 11) enjoyed swimming in the lake and using the kayaks and canoe. House is very clean and well maintained. The owners (Robin and Ed) are friendly and helpful.

Simply Wonderful!

We really enjoyed the home, outdoor fire pit, and the beautiful sunsets by the water! The hosts were super great to work with! Highly recommend and we will be back!

We have always done a top to bottom cleaning process and we are following the guidelines that VRBO has provided to owners during this Covid period.
