Right next to mini golf course, volleyball court, basketball court and playground. First time visiting. We will be back.

Super relaxing lake front

We hit a beautiful moment where there were very few patrons on property. The cabin’s beautiful. Tons of beds and rooms to sleep. Great view of the lake. Comfortable couch, nice big dinner table. Highly functional kitchen. Great, quiet spot off the beaten track of the lake.

However, we had an issue with the bathrooms. The bathrooms flooded twice. There were something wrong with the pipes in that cabin. We couldn’t shower in the upstairs bathroom because it would leak onto the downstairs bathroom. It was annoying.

Nice location on the river

We had a great time in the cabin with friends and family. Loved all the amenities so close. We used the volleyball court and water trampoline daily. The mini golf was fun and we had lots of games. The balls and clubs are all available on site. The cabin has a huge table for games and eating. I would bring two table cloths because the cleaner they use leaves it very sticky. Ice your drinks down or the drive will take a long time to cool your food. We ran out of silverware a lot for our group of 12 bring extra and extra big bowls if you plan on cooking l. Everything else is there. Two types of coffe machines, toaster, crock pot on request. They don’t provide many trash bags so bring extra. The dumpster is by the basketball court. If you need gas for your boat, they have the lowest price on the lake. They have jet ski and boat rentals also. We plan on going back as it was a great location and lots of things to do on and off the water.

Wonderful vacation, perfect for our family!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was our first time at Log Country Cove and we absolutely loved our weeklong stay at Dustin Layne. We have 3 kids (9, 6, 3) who said it was the best vacation we've ever had! My mom stayed with us and my sister came for a few days with her 2 kids and it never felt crowded - plenty of space! We cooked each meal and had everything we needed except a large pot for cooking pasta so my sister brought her own. There were plenty of dishes, utensils, bath towels for us all for the week. We also appreciated that there were plenty of life vests for borrowing as well as several bags of sand toys the kids got to use each day. One huge perk of staying at Dustin Layne was getting to enjoy coffee on the porch each morning while the kids could enjoy the commons area (putt putt, swings, small play structure) within our view. We loved staying so close to it all! We spent every day in the beautiful porch-like ledge in the beach area while the kids played for hours in the sand and water and we were hugely grateful for the beautiful shade trees that kept the beach area shady for most of the day. In fact, we were impressed by ALL the shade trees covering so much of the commons area that kept us cool and allowed the kids to play without too much sun exposure. Favorite activities were renting paddle boards to explore the back cove areas (saw tons of turtles) and renting a wave runner to hang out on the sandbar that was only about a 10 minute ride away. Our kids absolutely loved the trampoline on the water! The views from our cabin were gorgeous - especially during dusk. We made so many wonderful memories here and will most definitely be back! We are already talking about our return visit!
