This was a great property. Super clean, huge amount of space, excellent restaurant below and friendly hosts. Easy, short drive Soulard Market and the baseball game. Highly recommend this place! We will definitely stay here again.

The home was a flat with some cool features. It was on the second floor, the stairs were a bit hard to maneuver for us old people. The host was responsive when we needed anything and the air conditioning worked great. It’s a big brick building and the steps leading to the door way are a bit rough, but overall it met our needs.

We had a very pleasant experience...some suggestions would be to disclose the steps being steep - had two seniors...not an issue just needed support going upstairs. In terms of sofa bed ...have dedicated area defined for bed linens and where located. In the main closet, suggest a curtain to hide the storage. And for kitchen ensure the silverware drawer is repaired along with new scrub pads for dishes after each guest rental. The host was very responsive and the air conditioning was fantastic!

Property is beautiful. Needs kitchen utensils. Needs plug in box for tv in bedroom. TVs are very outdated and hard to maneuver. Still gave excellent review because property was amazing just needs a few small fixes.

A Great Stay

We had a wonderful stay at this apartment. Very spacious, clean, and in a nice location. Be sure to check out the restaurant downstairs, it was delicious. Would stay here again in a heartbeat!

The apartment was awesome. It was so much bigger than it looks in the pictures. The hosts were so nice and helpful. The cajun restaurant below was so delicious. We willbe back for sure.

The apartment was just wonderful true to the pictures. The history of the building was very present. We did a lil research found out that it was just over 200 yrs old .

Great home! It is a little aged but still beautiful. There is a store front on the first floor and a resident on the 3rd floor but I didn’t hear much.

Absolutely adorable

We loved our stay and would definitely stay there again. It was such a cute experience and if you are looking for a city stay this is the place. It’s close to so many places and we didn’t have to travel far.

I was born and raised in St. Louis. My husband is from the deep southern bayous of Louisiana. We own the Cajun restaurant below the vrbo unit. We love hosting visitors from around the world in our unique historic brick fortress.

This is the neighborhood of Marine Villa, one of St. Louis's oldest neighborhoods alongside the Mississippi River. Our large outdoor space is a beautiful oasis is the heart of the city. We have the best neighbors all in walking distance, historic antique row on Cherokee street, our very own French quarter known as Soulard, and the gorgeous Benton Park district, all with lovely shops and eateries that you will fall in love with just as we have.

Our property was built in the late 1800's by Paul Oehler, one of the last handmade brick makers. He built this property to showcase his fancy bricks as machine made bricks were taking over the industry. The inlay of wood to anchor modern outlets to, and the beautiful wooden beams that run throughout the building are only some of the finer details that make this property unique. Colossal solid wood doors from old St. Louis churches were added along with reclaimed wood from other historic St. Louis properties giving character and antique charm to an elegant space. We hope you enjoy your stay.
