Grin & Bear It is located on Log Country Cove property & is managed by Log Country Cove, with 20+ years of 5 star hospitality in the Kingsland Area. This cabin can sleep up to 8 guests. Non-motorized items included in your stay.

Long weekend

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Second stay in this cabin and everything was very clean and very comfortable. A great location and we had everything we needed. The staff was wonderful (as always) and told us at check in that if we needed anything to let them know. They also asked at check out if everything was in working order. Loved our stay and we will be back!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I am a district sales manager with Texas Farm Bureau. At the end of each summer we try to do an outing for all of our agents. Log Country Cove is our favorite place to go. The facilities are great, the service and amenities are top notch, and there are a variety of activities for every one.

Beautiful Resort

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was somewhat unhappy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This log home is not well maintained. A Broken chair at the dining table, a cabinet door missing from the kitchen, very small and dated bathroom upstairs. I paid nearly $2000 for three nights and it seem like it should have been in much better shape for that price.

The futon in the living area is not very comfortable for sitting or sleeping, but the kitchen is nicely stocked with your cooking necessities.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Shower tub was clogged when I tried to shower.Husband and I came home full of bed bug bites & rash from my 2 night stay there. For the amount of I spent for my stay, it was not worth it. Shame, it's a beautiful property overall.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The stay was great! The cabin was a very minimal cabin, which wasn’t bad/ but there’s a few things that could use upgrading. The coffee pot took over 45 minutes to brew 1 pot & no matches were anywhere to light the grill. These were no biggies and we made it worked. But overall, very nice and beautiful place/ property.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: As always the office staff and workers were amazing. The bbq wasn't workable and we had a new one the next morning. TV was messed up and they were there in minutes to fix it. The really need to do some updating in the cabin. The main bathroom shower needs work and the sink should be replaced. Had to borrow cookie sheets and can opener from the neighbors. We also only had one bath towel per bathroom. Had to wash towels the next morning

The showerheads in both baths were awful, towels and sheets old. Dishes and cookware need updating and cooktop was uneven and damaged. Property was nice, however and the trip was fine.

Time away from home

Grin and Bear It would be a great addition for Cabin Fever if you needed more room. We have stayed at Cabin Fever before and it is an amazing cabin with a detached cabin already. We love staying at Log Country Cove and the staff is ALWAYS wonderful to work with.

Nice Place

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a great experience. My mother in a wheel chair was able to stay at this cabin comfortably and get around ok. A few things that I would change is the shower head isn’t detachable, so even with the bench in the shower it makes it very difficult to shower someone in a wheel chair. Another thing is the driveway was really beat up from the rain, so there were large holes in the driveway which made getting in and out in a wheel chair very difficult. There is a tree branch that needs to be cut at the entrance to the cabin to make it easier to get in and out. Also, please remove the light fixture in front of the fridge as my family hit their heads multiple times during our stay, but besides these three issues, we had a great stay!

Great Vacation Spot!

The common area was very nice with lots to do or just hang out on manicured grass, picnic tables or lawn chairs. The owners of Log Country Cabin are very friendly and accommodating. We'll be going back!
