This property is a charming cottage in a fantastic location. The cottage has all the amenities for the traveler who enjoys both comfort and luxury. The cottage is fully stocked with plush linens, a stocked Nespresso bar, beach chairs, surfboards, bikes, toiletries and sunscreen. Show up and enjoy! The cottage is within walking distance to amazing restaurants, the beach and pier, downtown Ventura. This cottage can be rented alone or with it's sister cottage next door.

Upscale in small package

Husband, his younger brother and wife needed a place to stay to be at bedside of dying brother. No hotel rooms available so I booked them this wonderful cottage. They said it is nicer, more elegant, and better appointed than the pictures even show (which is RARE for a rental). Great outside patios for them to gather with brother’s sons after hospital visit. Close to everything they needed. A real gem of a place and very comfortable for them at a difficult time.

Truly a breath of fresh air!

We could not have enjoyed our visit anymore! These charming Bungalows capture the essence of the craftsman period with the conveniences of a luxury boutique hotel. Our friends enjoyed the neighboring bungalow and found the the accommodations equally wonderful. What a great getaway with friends for a perfect weekend at the beach with all of the conveniences so close by. We especially loved the little restaurant that was walking distance for brunch. Thank you to our special hosts!

Perfect stay in beautiful California!

This cottage is an absolute find in beautiful Ventura! The location is fantastic within walking distance to great restaurants and the local market as well as the beach and pier. The owner is very responsive and is a great communicator. Check in and out was a breeze. This brand new home is beautifully decorated, clean, maintained, and so comfortable for our family. We highly recommend this property and will be staying there again as soon as we can get back there!

Charming cottage close to beach.

We had a fabulous time staying at this charming cottage in Ventura. It’s close to the beach and within walking distance to one of my favorite restaurants. It was decorated so carefully. It’s so adorable yet so comfortable. The bed was heavenly! Local art adorns the walls and the kitchen had anything we needed to whip up a romantic dinner. A perfect little gem in Ventura. We can’t wait to return!

Clean, Beautiful, Relaxing & a ton of Amenities!!

There are 2 cottages available right next to each other! Our good friends rented the other one. We each had our own space yet were so close to hang out. We got fresh fish & veges from the adorable farmers market and grilled out one night. We had coffee together in the mornings either at home with the delicious nespresso maker or popped into town to Palermo Coffee. We walked to the beach and had tacos on the pier. Sunday brunch was amazing at Cafe Nouveau. These cottages are fully stocked and has everything you could ever need or want. Truly a decedent vacation. Inside and out ever detail was thought of in these new cottages. Can't wait to go back for more sunshine, beach time and great restaurants all walking distance away. I cannot thank you enough for this experience!

We live and play in Ventura! We moved here about 9 years ago when our kids were grown and flew the coop. Our hobbies include most things outdoors and we have had a great time creating these spaces for friends & family to share. We both grew up in Southern California and love what Ventura has to offer. It is a relaxed, fun place to create life-long memories. We have hosted over 20 friends and family in the cottages and now it's time to share with others. We hope you come for a visit soon!

It has been my dream for years to restore an old house. Prior to moving to Ventura, we had been looking for a small house to renovate. After 6 years of searching, I drove by the cottages at Pacific and Thompson and fell in love. The cottages were built in 1927 and needed a lot of love. Although my husband is a commercial contractor, and we own a construction company, I still had no idea what it would really take to restore the cottages, and honor the time period, while bringing every inch of them up to date. It was a labor of love and we are so pleased to share our cottages with those who appreciate a truly comfortable place to be.

The Cottages at Ventura are truly special because you have two completely separate cottages next door to each other in a great mid--town location. You can walk to almost anywhere you would want to go in Ventura and you are a trolley ride away from the Ventura Harbor. The property is set up for relaxation and comfort. For us, comfort is key and amenities are not only an added bonus.... they are a must!
Enjoy a whole house water filtration system, hot and cold reverse osmosis system, beach cruisers, chairs, towels etc.! LOCATION! LOCATION! LOCATION!!
