With room for just 2, couples can expect privacy and peace in this small 1890s general store converted to a cottage. We have recently upgraded the Outdoor space as well with a landscaped fenced yard featuring a period Gazebo and BBQ.

FREE HIGHT SPEED BUISNESS CLASS INTERNET (300Mbs) included for business and entertainment needs. FREE NETFLIX AND HULU and access to 100s of apps for your personal account logins. PETS WELCOME with a per stay fee. 420 APPROVED for legal users. FLEXIBLE CANCELATIONS include a 100% no questions asked refund 30 days or more before your stay, and a refund of all nights and fees when we are able to re-book if you need to cancel within the 30 day window before check-in. 5 STAR CLEAN! We take cleaning between guests very seriously and perform an enhanced superior clean between guests which includes washing all linens and blankets in hot water as well as cleaning all surfaces and high touch points with sanitizer and disinfectant.

Primary Guest must be 25 or older.

Upstairs you will find a complete kitchen including dishwasher as well as a cozy living room with a 65" UHD TV sporting Roku. FREE NETFLIX AND HULU: All of your favorite streaming services are available including paid accounts on both HULU and NETFLIX as well as 100s of free channels to choose from (or log into your own accounts)

Downstairs is a wonderfully private KING Bed in the bedroom and a private bath. Although the unit is small (450 Square) it is well appointed and does not feel cramped. Private parking is available right next to the unit. This unit is part of a larger 3 unit property but is private and exclusive to the guests.

Come and enjoy the nightlife of Old Colorado City or Colorado Springs, the Rocky Mountains nearby or favorite tourist spots such as the NEW Cog Railway to the top of Pikes Peak or the Seven Falls Adventure Park. World Class Restaurants are just steps away and local flavor is always available.

PETS are allowed with an additional Pet fee of $25 per-pet-per-stay (MAX 2 Pets, Owner approval required prior to stay - Accepting of pet fee by owner constitutes approval.

Please note: Due to Insurance Requirements We do not accept bookings where the Primary Guest is under 25 yrs of age.

Please Note: For your safety and ours, Security Cameras ARE used in Outdoor public areas on property. The VENUS unit camera is directed at the parking lot and Main entrance to record (24/7). There are no indoor cameras.

Stay was absolutely fabulous. Hosts were super friendly and helpful. Got in late and needed assistance getting in. My fault totally! Im technology challenged. And hosts were completely gracious. And helpful. Would definitely stay here again. I would totally recommend this spot. Both dog friendly and 420 friendly! What could be better.

No fire or smoke detectors
We had the experience as an earlier guest in that the cleaning fee is way too high. There is no cleaning that seems to be done before you arrive. The dishes from previous renter were still in dishwasher. It appears the cleaning is done by each renter, not the owner. The pet deposit is stated to be free in the VRBO site. When I pointed this out I was still charged a pet fee. Safety is a major concern. If we didn’t have our dogs to alert us we would have found other arrangements. We slept with windows open as no smoke or fire detectors. There are bare outlets and the license to rent is expired from several years ago. There is no railing for the basement steps and the front porch and yard lighting do not work. I just can’t say enough about how disappointing it is to see there are fellow property owners who are in this for the money only. I don’t think we were their concern, our money was. The porches were not even swept and the rugs were worn. We own rental properties and this is a shame. How can an owner sleep at night knowing that in their own yard there are lives being endangered.

Nice, clean, and centrally located
This small house was great for the wife and I, you might be able to get a few more in, but you would probably really have to like them. It was extremely close to a wide variety of the local attractions, so it made it much easier to get out and do as opposed to sit in and think about. I would definitely recommend this place for couples who are looking to get out and enjoy what Colorado Springs has to offer.

The Love Shack was a perfect little place
We had a wonderful time visiting Colorado. Stayed at the lively little place called the Love Shack. It was perfect for us. Nice little homely feeling and close to all the good stuff in the springs and manitou. Would definitely stay there again
