Comfy king-sized memory foam master bed, full kitchen, cozy breakfast nook over looking the ocean, built-in 65" smart tv with soundbar, 2 full bathrooms, 2 bedrooms (1king/1queen), brand new sofa bed for extra guests. Smart TVs in the bedrooms.

Amazing getaway!

Wonderful little condo right on the beach. Perfect for a girls trip getaway. Condo was very clean, well stocked with all the basic essentials, and lots of property amenities. The property manger was very ease to get ahold of when we had a question and got everything answered very quickly. I would definitely stay there again!

Cozy condo for our family vacation!

This was truly a home away from home! My family and I enjoyed our stay in this cozy condo at Atlantic Beach. Beautifully decorated, clean and great location. We would definitely consider staying here again.

Ocean View

We had a great view of the ocean from the living area and balcony which was so enjoyable. The condo was conveniently located to restaurants and shopping. The historical town of Beaufort was also easily accessible. We enjoyed our stay.

Summer Vaca 2021

The property was clean, had a wonderful view and the amenities at the condo were perfect for a. Family with young kids. The condo itself was in great condition, comfy beds, kitchen stocked. Made for a lovely family vacation!

Beautiful condo

Condo beautifully decorated, gorgeous view of the ocean, well stocked (arrived to plenty of towels, sheets, blankets, pillows, toilet paper, paper towels, soap) it was fabulous! Check in/out process was easy, kids loved the pool slide, owners were friendly and prompt to answer questions. Would stay here again!

Great view.

Enjoyed our stay! Great view from the balcony, glad we got the top floor. Suggest finding the room before bringing up your luggage. A little confusing, but makes since once you get there. Great food nearby. Clean and check- in was very easy.

Best Beach Condo Stay Ever

A Place at the Beach never disappoints! This condo has everything you need for the feel of being at home. Kitchen is super well stocked, comfy beds, lots of blankets and great wifi. The sound of the ocean from the balcony eases away all anxiety! Great shelling to the north! Amos Mosquitoes restaurant is a must too!

Perfect spot!

This location was absolutely wonderful! It was a perfect spot oceanfront! The interior is newly renovated. It was clean, neat, and nicely decorated! The sofa was comfortable. The mattresses were super comfy! We absolutely enjoyed ourselves! Lots of activities for kids and teens. Easy access to the beach and local eateries and things to do!

Family Vacation

We were there for a family vacation. The boys loved the swimming pool and the slide. The unit is very nice. We did have a minor issue and the owner took care of it. We would definitely rent this unit again.

Responsive Host

We had a wonderful time at Shorely Anchored. The third floor condo had an ocean front view and there was enough room for me, husband, mom and two young children-since we are a close family and all get along well. This unit is in the building that is closest to the outdoor hot tub. Our keurig was broken when we arrived but we let our host know and he had a brand new one delivered to us! We really appreciated this as there is nothing like waking up to have coffee on the balcony in the morning. Other details we liked was the HUGE tv in the livingroom and king sized bed.

Perfect Week

Thank you again for the best week. This unit is my go to place when I need a break. It’s always clean, comfortable and makes me feel at home like even though I’m not “at home”. Josh and Brittany (owners) and the office staff are always wonderful to deal with. Can’t wait to come back soon.

Love A Place at the Beach!!

This was our second year staying at a Place at the Beach in this unit. Our stay was great, even though a bit windy most of the week, we had plenty to do. The unit is very nice and comfortable. We love the views from the balcony, as we sit in the chairs, enjoying our morning coffee! The pool is wonderful, and the whole family really enjoys the slide! The owners are very nice and easy to deal with and very quick to respond to any question you might have. Thanks again for a wonderful vacation!

Perfect for family of 4!

We (2 adults and 2 kids, ages 7 & 9) stayed here a week in July. The place was perfect, never have to leave the property if you don't want to. The beach was not crowded and so much to do at the property. The kids loved the soccer field and had nightly kickball or soccer games with many of the other kids. The pool was awesome for us all. The place was clean and well equipped. It is on the small side, but as we were spending all our time outside it was a perfect spot to crash. My husband and kids said it was their favorite vacation ever!

Great vacation to relax

This was our first time to Atlantic Beach. The property looked exactly as listed. Very updated property. The location was perfect. It was a quiet and gated property. Perfect to forget about the rest of the world. Everyone in the complex was friendly. Even when everyone was at the pool it did not feel overcrowded. The slide was fun. The property was clean and well maintained. Easy and private access to the beach which also never seemed overcrowded. It was also close to many activities. I will definitely go back again.

Fall Getaway

My fiance and I stayed for close to a week. The unit was very clean and as descried, no surprises. It was decorated well and a comfortable place to spend a rainy morning. The owner sent complete check in instructions and had an information book in the condo for check out and general area information. We love the area and this condo with oceanfront balcony could not have been a better choice. I truly appreciate rental owners whose pride in ownership is seen in their attention to detail. It makes for a more relaxed vacation. I look forward to staying in this unit again.

Apartment - excellent; resort - in need of upgrading

We really felt totally comfortable in the apartment; and we rate this quite high by comparison with homes and apartments we have rented in close to 70 different countries in the world to this point in our near 90 years of travel. However! We do feel that the management need considerably greater effort in dealing with prospective issues in mobility about the property. I.e wife had a fall that broke her lower right arm. An unexpected rise in the stairway as it meets the upper path caused the fall of a beginning one hour run into the Macon State park.

Labor Day Weekend

Our family has been staying at this location for over 30 years. The location of this unit was fantastic and we love the updates and stunning oceanfront view. The unit was exactly as pictured. A few things to note: the cleaning service the owners use need to be spoken to. There was sand on the master bedroom floor, in the sheets in the master bedroom and on the kitchen counter. We also found hair in the hallway bathroom trashcan. Additionally, the master bedroom shower floor was very uneven which made showering a little tricky. I wouldn’t have an elderly person use it. Overall, our experience with this unit was fantastic and we would absolutely stay again!

Pride of Ownership Truly Shows in this Beautiful Condo

This unit raised the bar for all others with it's updated interior, cleanliness and great views. We had stayed at A Place at the Beach a few times years ago, however, we were not impressed with the units as they were dated, musty and unclean. This condo definitely has brought us back to renting from A Place at the Beach. The remodel has a lot of little conveniences as well, such as the pocket door installed in the second bedroom to give complete privacy, t.v.'s in both bedrooms and a very large screen t.v. in the living room, additional hooks in the bathrooms to hang towels, and the added cabinet above the refrigerator to store our snacks so they didn't have to take up space on the counter or table. Until we move to NC and buy our own unit, we hope to rent this unit again!

All about the view and amenities!

We've stayed at many rentals, and this is the first one that didn’t have any bells or whistles BUT it has been by far the most affordable place we've found right on the beach. This place was really small compared to other places we've stayed, but our family of 4 (2 kids 5 and 9) had enough space. This is not the place if you want a lot of room or love to cook since the kitchen is small. Also, be prepared to bring extra things with you if you are staying for more than a weekend--things like toilet paper, paper towels, any and all seasoning you need for cooking, etc. The welcome packet we got a couple of weeks out detailed what would be available, and we really appreciated that and were able to bring a lot of what we needed with us. We also neglected to realize that laundry was not available in the condo until we got the welcome packet, but the building had decent washers and dryers with an app system that made it really easy to pay. The resort amenities were wonderful. We spent a lot of time at the pools! All in all, we really enjoyed our stay. The pictures are very accurate, and as someone who looks for our vacation rental for months at a time each year, I can pretty much guarantee that anywhere else with an oceanfront view and wonderful amenities is going to run you way more money than this. It's totally worth the price for the view, amenities, and proximity to the beach alone!
