LOCATED IN THE CLOSEST NEIGHBORHOOD TO THE BEACH!

Peter's House is situated in the Piney Island area. It is within 1/2 mile of Maddox Blvd., the road to Assateague Island and the beach. It is very convenient to and within walking distance of shops, restaurants, miniature golf and much more.
There is off street parking at the house for three vehicles. The 2 bedroom/1 bath home is centrally air conditioned and is fully furnished with everything necessary for comfortable leisure living.
The living room has a double size futon sofa, lounge chairs, and tv. Other items included are dishes, tableware, pots/pans, crab steamer, dish washer, washer/dryer, pillows, and blankets. Bring your own bedding (3 Twin/2 Double) and towels/wash cloths.
We ask you to please leave the house in a clean, tidy condition for the next guests to arrive.

Our second stay at this house this year and we hope it will not be our last. Very open and airy, with a big screen porch and lots of light. Comfortable beds and a very well equipped kitchen. Close to everything.

Everything was wonderful! The house was private but so close to everything. We were able to access the nature trails and bike paths without ever needing to go on the main road, which was wonderful with our children who were not yet confident with biking. Overall the house was perfect and our stay was fantastic, we can’t wait to go back next summer!

A WONDERFUL stay on Chincoteague

My family and I had a wonderful stay at Peter’s house! It was perfect for us!We especially enjoyed how close it was to Assateague and the beach and how quiet the neighborhood was.Would highly recommend- tremendous space and experience!

Ver comfortable, lots of light, extremely quiet street. Well equipped kitchen. We really enjoyed our two week stay and will probably book again in the fall.

The property was fine. We were disappointed when we realized that Wifi was not provided and that the yard had ticks. Overall, it was a nice house.

This is a great property to stay in. It’s very close to the beach, bike rentals, and food.

The property is in good condition. One of our favorite things is the screened in back porch. We sat outside often. The close proximity to the beach allowed us to ride our bikes everyday. The kitchen is equipped with everything you may need for meals. Some of the beds were rather hard but could be remedied with a foam topper.

The house was very clean. It has a well stocked kitchen. The A/C unit kept the house very cool during the heat wave. The only issue was no internet. The internet could take the place of the tv cable that is there - which is useless. It is a basic house but functional. It worked well for the 2 nights we were there.

Great stay!

My family comes down every year, about 12-15 of us,and stays in a larger home on the water, in the same neighborhood. The last 2 years we've needed to get a 2nd house for the overflow of us and this year we found this little house in the same neighborhood- no brainer! It was very convenient being so close to the other house. It was clean. Comfortable. Easy to check in and out. My ONLY complaint is that I was looking forward to sleeping just a little later than usual, not having to get up and feed the dogs because we boarded them for the weekend, but the room we slept in got so much light in the morning from the sunrise that it was impossible for me to not wake up from it. My husband wasn't as bothered but I do wish there were curtains in addition to the blinds to help darken it up a little. This is just a personal preference; not a real complaint. Solid rental; would rent again.

Second stay and will stay again!

We love this home so much. This was our second year staying in Peter’s house. We had 3 adults and 2 children staying this time for 8 nights. Great location. Extremely clean home. Very open feel with tons of natural light. Screened in back porch with a pond where you can listen to frogs and see other wildlife. Great kitchen where we made many delicious homemade meals with the supplies provided in the well-stocked kitchen. You can hear the boats in the bay from the home. Temps became extremely high on the last night of our stay. Our AC broke midday. Within minutes of texting the property manager, Debbie, she responded and personally came out to assist. This was a Saturday evening and she brought us a window AC until the tech could come. We understood these things happen and truly appreciate her responsiveness and attention. Debbie’s attentiveness and superb customer service are top notch! Another reason why my family enjoys this little oasis so much! The people are so pleasant!

Nice House, Great location, No WiFi

Overall, nice and clean place to stay, good location with a short drive to the beach and ability to walk to some local businesses. It was great to have a washer and dryer available. I failed to realize when booking our stay that there is no Wi-Fi, which is a little weird for 2024. There was limited cable TV options and a DVD player with only one DVD (bring your own if you need extra entertainment for kids). Property manager was great. We were lucky to have great weather all week too.

Great location and neighborhood.

Overall a great home. My only gripes would be not enough seating in the living room, not one sharp cooking knife in the house, and the grill is a rusted mess. In fact the grill is so bad I would not even say you have one. Other than that it is perfect!

Lovely stay in Piney Island

We had a lovely family stay in Chincoteague’s Piney Island at Peter’s House. The location is perfect particularly if you want easy access to Assateague. The house was clean and had everything we needed. The neighborhood is quiet and great for R & R.

Comfortable family stay!

We were happy to see how clean the home was when we arrived. We appreciate that the living area and kitchen are bright and open, and the bathroom is spacious. We enjoyed having meals in the screened-in porch.

Nice little house!

We had a lovely stay. Our one-year-old daughter especially enjoyed the open floor plan and the screened-in porch, which gave her more independence than she enjoys at home! Our visit could have been improved by the availability of wi-fi in the house.
