Casa Dominguez Heart of Santa Fe old adobe-walk to Plaza, Railyard, Canyon Rd.

Casa Dominguez is a 420 sq ft adobe cottage lovingly rebuilt and less than three blocks from the Historic Santa Fe Plaza. The 18 inch thick adobe walls make the property remarkably quiet given its close proximity to the Santa Fe Railyard District, the Historic Santa Fe Plaza, Canyon Road and The State Capitol Grounds. Casa Dominguez has a kitchen with refrigerator and microwave (toaster oven and counter-cooktop on request), bedroom with closet, and a living room and dining area. During the recent, extensive renovation that included a new roof, windows, plumbing, electrical and HVAC, historically appropriate materials were used whenever possible. Furnishings in the home include personal furniture that have been painstakingly restored. Casa Dominguez is literally, historic Santa Fe with modern comforts. Santa Fe's iconic coffee shop, Ohori's, is across Manhattan Street just steps away. Santa Fe's best bakery, Sage Bakehouse, is conveniently around the corner. Performance venues Lensic Theater and St. Francis Auditorium as well as Site Santa Fe, New Mexico Museum of Art, the Palace of the Governors and the New Mexico History Museum are all less than a 10 minute walk from the Casa.

Our commercial laundry service – the same laundry service used by most high-end hotels in Northern New Mexico - uses unscented, hypoallergenic detergent and extremely hot water. Sheets are lightly starched and ironed at 385 degrees.

Second time staying in property; have enjoyed it immensely each time. Centrally located, close to everything in Santa Fe. Enjoyed visiting with Lance (the host) who informed us of local happenings.

Great location and felt welcomed the moment I walked into the place. The wine and cheese was a nice touch and appreciated they didn't have a super long checkout list of chores.

Such a charming place. The renovation they did is incredible. The location could not have been better - easy to walk downtown, to the rail yards, and some excellent nearby restaurants. Easy nearby parking. Excellent hosts!

Very nice place, as advertised, easy experience, and the location couldn’t be better. Very easy walk from everything but you don’t feel like you’re overrun by tourists. Also, Dumpling Cafe across the street is a very nice surprise when (if) you need a break from Southwestern food. Phenomenal dumplings and friendly staff. Comfy bed, too.

Comfortable living space with great historical properties, very convenient location, walkable to railyard area, downtown and Canyon Rd. Well equipt kitchen area with available parking. Wine and cheese upon arrival was a pleasant surprise. Would highly recommend this place for 2 people!

Perfectly located within half mile of Santa Fe Plaza. Shops and restaurants all within walking distance. Very clean room with thoughtful touches from the Hosts to make you feel welcomed!
