Casa Dominguez is a 420 sq ft adobe cottage lovingly rebuilt and less than three blocks from the Historic Santa Fe Plaza. The 18 inch thick adobe walls make the property remarkably quiet given its close proximity to the Santa Fe Railyard District, the Historic Santa Fe Plaza, Canyon Road and The State Capitol Grounds. Casa Dominguez has a kitchen with refrigerator and microwave (toaster oven and counter-cooktop on request), bedroom with closet, and a living room and dining area. During the recent, extensive renovation that included a new roof, windows, plumbing, electrical and HVAC, historically appropriate materials were used whenever possible. Furnishings in the home include personal furniture that have been painstakingly restored. Casa Dominguez is literally, historic Santa Fe with modern comforts. Santa Fe's iconic coffee shop, Ohori's, is across Manhattan Street just steps away. Santa Fe's best bakery, Sage Bakehouse, is conveniently around the corner. Performance venues Lensic Theater and St. Francis Auditorium as well as Site Santa Fe, New Mexico Museum of Art, the Palace of the Governors and the New Mexico History Museum are all less than a 10 minute walk from the Casa.

Our commercial laundry service – the same laundry service used by most high-end hotels in Northern New Mexico - uses unscented, hypoallergenic detergent and extremely hot water. Sheets are lightly starched and ironed at 385 degrees.

Impressive!

It is very impressive how the Casita was brought back to life. It remains the originality of a Casita with all the modern amenities to make your experience great. It’s Jan and cold but we were still able to walk to most of our favorite art galleries. We did drive to Canyon Road, but by the end of the week ( if we were still there) we would have been able to walk. Great restaurants, unique coffee houses and more. Great stay!

A cozy, sweet, comfortable, and well-appointed abode for a special stay during the winter holiday.

This little historic adobe home, and the owners, carried welcoming vibes for the duration of our stay. In fact, I would choose Santa Fe as a destination, just to enjoy this cozy sanctuary again.

Great location for a great price.

The location was a minutes walk to everything. Host provided great recommendations for food and locations to visit. We would definitely recommend this location for two. There was plenty to do and the food selection was plentiful.

Cozy spot, great location

Great spot, walking distance to most attractions, which came in handy during an unexpectedly snowy visit. Hosts were extremely pleasant and responsive.

Get-Away with my hubby

The property fit our needs perfectly. Location was important it being was walking distance to the center of Santa Fe and parking was close. Casa Dominquez is nicely laid out, decorated with Southwest touches and the kitchen and bathroom were well appointed. We could not get the TV to work but that didn't matter to us. The linens were clean and the queen size bed was very comfortable. We enjoyed our stay!

Outstanding Property

Super clean, remodeled and location cannot be neat. Walk to everything and don’t need to drive. Hosts are terrific, and great restaurants close. Will stay next time in Sante Fe.

Lovely Art!

This was a great little house! The hosts were kind and helpful. It’s a great spot if you don’t want to hassle with plaza or farmers market parking. The house was also decorated with beautiful local art and the host helped me identify the artist so that I could find some prints of my own. The road outside the house was a bit noisy and busy but it was totally tolerable given the great location! I’d totally book this place again!

Santa Fe Living

This is a beautiful little apartment with all needed amenities. Seeing the before/after photos of the transformation is a nice touch. Kitchen is charming and fully stocked. Nice touch leaving wine, cheese/crackers, coffee which we enjoyed thoroughly. Clean bathroom with a nice open format shower. Bed (queen) is a bit stiff and uncomfortable. Great safe location near Santa Ge Rail yard. Would recommend for a couple only. Web links suggest up to four people but I’m not sure if this is possible.

Great place!

Casa Dominguez is fantastic! It's the perfect blend of old Santa Fe charm and modern convenience. The kitchen area met all my needs, the bathroom is gorgeous as well as functional, and the front garden was a lovely place to enjoy my scrambled eggs in the morning. I couldn't have been happier. I was in town for the International Folk Art Market at Railyard Park, so the location was perfect as well.

Great stay in Santa Fe

Great location to the plaza, shops, restaurants. Short drives to National Parks,Los Alamos. Adobe was very comfortable and kitchen was very well stocked.

Santa Fe visit

Very interesting history and a wonderful renovation. Lance, the host was very helpful and informative about things to see, places to eat, and where to get great coffee. Our next visit to Santa Fe will include staying at Casa Dominguez.

Casa Dominguez is the best

This cozy and well-appointed casa was centrally located and was a wonderful base for our exploration of Santa Fe. When walking in the door, we were greeted by wine, beer, and cheese, a notebook chock-full of recommendations for enjoying Santa Fe and a comfortable living space. The bed was comfortable and linens were high quality. We enjoyed sitting on the enclosed patio area. We were able to walk to many great eateries and the plaza. We loved learning the history of the building and the renovations. We hope to return to this site (or any of those owned by Linda and Lance) in the future!

Great Place to Stay

Casa Dominguez is a great place to stay when visiting Santa Fe. It is convenient to the Plaza and an easy walk. The house itself is very comfortable and efficiently laid out. Very hospitable hosts and wonderful amenities. You won’t be disappointed!

Perfect location

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the casita. It is perfectly located for walks to the plaza and Canyon Road - and a sunset from Ft. Marcy. We enjoyed the restaurants like Cowgirl and Tune Up Cafe that were just blocks away. We hardly drove our rental car and had zero parking issues. We would definitely prefer staying in the casita than the hotels downtown. It was well furnished and supplied with everything we could want.

Wonderful adobe suite and close to amenities

Cozy adobe suite with everything you need. Great attention to detail, wonderful history, and walking distance to amenities. The recommendations on food, hikes, etc. were spot on. Highly recommend and would stay here again.
