we are disappointed with your experience, as we pride ourselves on getting mostly 10/10 reviews. It appears as though you are concerned about the cleanliness of the house. Had you brought this to our attention at the start of the week, we would have had this fixed immediately, and improved your comfort. Unfortunately you waited until the end of the week to report it. I am sorry your experience wasn't as perfect as we aim for.

Wonderful stay. Couldn't eat the beach view from the decks. House was clean and check in was simple. Kitchen came well equipped and ready.

Paul's house is ideally situated, - not too close to stores and resturants but not so far that it was a pain to get there. The exterior views were spectacular and the interior was light and airy and nice and clean.

Escape hatch is a wonderful family vacation house. Right on a beautiful beach, and fully equipped for comfortable living. We had plenty of space for 6 adults and 4 young grandkids. It’s our favorite beach house!

Right on the beach, well appointed kitchen, comfy beds and furnishings, current and uncluttered decor, quite clean. We had a very happy stay- only wishing it could be longer.

This place is amazing! From the bedrooms to the living area and kitchen, the decks, and location. The views were beautiful. I highly recommend this house. I will be staying here again!

We had a wonderful stay at The Escape Hatch. The power was very communicative and the home did not disappoint. A great location for a girls weekend.

Our group has been visiting Topsail for several years. Escape Hatch was one of the nicer homes we have stayed in. The beach is only a few feet from the house which made it easier to bring our tent and chairs in at night. We had a wonderful time again this year!

The location was great, the kitchen was well stocked, there were limited paper products and hand soap but over all would definitely recommend this stay

We had a great stay at the Escape Hatch! Paul was easy to communicate with and the house was gorgeous- just as advertised. We really enjoyed the walk straight out to the beach and the views in the morning. We will definitely rebook! Only thing to keep in mind is there was not extra toilet paper or dishwashing pods. Not a big deal, just something to keep in mind for packing!

We were advised the washing machine was not working and was not repaired while we were there. The ice machine was also not working prior to our arrival. The condition of the baking sheets and pans were heavily worn. One section of the garage is being used for storage of items left behind from previous people.

Lovely house. Had everything we needed. Comfortable with young children and felt quite nice. Can't get closer to the beach!
