Dune Bungalow Steps from the beach and river

Cottage style home with comfortable porches to enjoy sound of ocean waves breaking on the front and back of the home. Pool in the back yard (heated by request for $50 per day) cook shed, fenced with lush trees and woods to the east. The inside looks large with high wood ceilings and multiple windows and glass doors to the beautiful pool area. Located on a dead-end street in a family neighborhood with 5-star restaurants nearby. Fifteen-minute drive to downtown St. Augustine.

Guana State park is a short 3 miles north and provides kayaking, fishing, hiking and biking trails. Great parks, restaurants and the river at the end of the road to watch sunsets.
Neighborhood Quiet hours begins at 10pm. Outside noise after ten must be kept to a whisper.

Heated pool by request is $50 a day. You may choose this option at the time of arrival.

There are only 2 parking spots allotted to this home. There is absolutely NO street parking allowed.

The pool was our favorite. A short walk to beach and restaurants. Quiet street, very easy to jog and walk. House was well appointed and comfortable and clean. Great communication with our host! We will be back!

Had to pay 50/day for pool heat, but it was well worth it. Wonderful pool. Kitchen well stocked, primary bed very comfortable and great pillows. Very quiet street. Had to cross Rt. AIA to get to beach, but that was OK. Nice kitchen table/chairs and plenty of seating outdoors. Host very responsive and friendly

Fabulous Stay

Me and my husband spend the 4th of July week here and it was fabulous! So close to the beach, the private pool was perfect touch as well! The property was very clean, well maintained, and had everything you could possibly need! Plan to rent this property again in the future!

Perfect location

We really enjoyed our stay. The house was very well laid out so it was super spacious for 4 people. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen had all the necessities, and the beach was easy to access. We had a super relaxing stay. The pool and backyard was a nice spot to hang after a day at the beach. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

The Perfect Spot

The bungalow is cute, clean, and perfectly located. The pool area has a convenient outside fridge - don't miss the tripod clothes rack for swimsuits/shoes. The jungle path to the beach is adorable, making an easy walk to the beach. Communication with Grayson is prompt and she brought us some things we needed to make our stay perfect. Don't buy water! The water in the house is excellent!

Wonderful house

The house is spotless, spacious, and across the street from the beach--perfect for us. Also a short drive to downtown St. Augustine. It was too cold to swim but we loved our evenings sitting outside by the pool. Owners were very responsive and came over immediately when there was a small problem with the water pressure. All good!

Summertime Rest

The Dune Bungalow is even sweeter in real life! It is a secluded paradise! The pool is so restful, the fig tree has sweet fresh figs, the place is clean, comfortable, and has everything you need. There is a really cool path to cross the street to a most spectacular beach. Best of all, the hosts are warm and welcoming. Truly one of the BEST places I have stayed! Thank you, Grayson! Great house, awesome location!

During such uncertain times this house provided us a home away from home to enjoy the sun, pool and beach! It was great having our own pool, and the beach is literally just across the street and just steps away. The home was beautifully decorated and had everything we needed to cook all our meals. There was a great grill so we could cook out too! There were perfect little beach chairs to take across the street and extra towels. Beds were so comfy! I can’t say enough great things about this place. We have family in the area and we would definitely stay again! Loved our time here!!!!

Host was welcoming and attentive. The pool which was THE reason we rented this house was not working well at all. We were there for 10 days and not able to use it which was VERY disappointing. The host had to have service come twice. They could not make it warm enough to swim. House was fabulous, very clean and well stock.

Nice location

Overall nice stay. Good location, easy beach access, quiet neighborhood. My only complaint is that the property was very buggy- inside and out….. And I’m a Floridian, so I understand that a certain amount of bugs can be expected, but there were ants, and some sort of flying ant/wasp looking bugs in the house. One morning I woke up to a newly spun spider web from the coffee make to my coffee cup. I would recommend routine professional exterminator. Other than that it was a good stay. The house came equipped with everything needed.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay! The property was spotless when we arrived and exceptionally well maintained. Everything was exactly as described, and every detail seemed thoughtfully considered to make guests feel comfortable and at home.The location was perfect,just a short walk to the beach, making it easy to enjoy the ocean whenever we wanted. The accommodations were comfortable, clean, and equipped with everything we needed for a relaxing vacation.Communication was excellent, and the entire experience was seamless from booking through checkout. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay and would happily return. Highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a clean, beautiful, and convenient beach getaway!

Vilano Beach.. Labor Day Weekend

My wife and I stayed here over three wonderful days of Labor Day weekend. Communication with the host was excellent, the property was as described and all the starter items were provided and then some to have an excellent mini vacation. Beach chairs and cooler was perfect for the quick walk up the the path to the beach. The property is located away from the public beach access so you get your pick of the sand! Bed in the main bedroom is nice and comfy, property is nicely decorated and very clean! Overall a 5+ star stay and would go back in a heartbeat. You will not be disappointed booking this property!
