Enjoy the "Old World Charm" of our home nestled in the Rocky Mountains. No quality has been spared in order to provide the best memories you can have. Centrally located in the state of Colorado allows easy access to the major Ski areas, Fishing, and Hiking. Enjoy an easy stroll through the Garden of the Gods, or a vigorous hike up the 14,000 elevation of famous Pikes Peak. Or perhaps, just relax on our deck with a glass of wine, or enjoy the Pikes Peak views from our Hot tub!

Excellent week of relaxation and taking in the beautiful views. Absolutely love the back deck, hot tub, fireplace and steam shower. Our new home away from home in Colorado.

Unique home and Beautiful location

The house was very unique and we had fun exploring it. Each day was a new discovery. Once outside, the view of Pikes Peak was amazing. The neighborhood was quiet and wildlife was always around the next corner. Definitely would stay there again.

Don't miss this Property!

We were going to be in the area on a business trip and came out a few days early. We found the "listing picture" and we jumped at the chance! When I say "what you see is what you get", just take me word for it. Absolutely beautiful views in a very private and quiet area that has its own hiking trails just a short walk away. We took advantage of everything we could and still feel like we must have missed something......The location is perfect for quick runs to the stores (less than a mile or so) - just do your shopping first because you are not going to want to get out of the hot tub for anything less than seeing the rest of this part of Colorado: Breckenridge, Canon City/Royal Gorge, parks galore - all within 90 minute drive or less. The only problem is having to leave this property to go somewhere else....We had to spend half of our time in Colorado at the Broadmoor (business). The resort is nice but doesn't have that Old World Charm. This place is awesome and has a lot of pleasant surprises inside (great for a family) or like us - very cozy for a couple. Don't waste your time looking, just book the place if its available........Very nice Hosts are quick to help if needed. Have fun!

Fantastic view, would return!

We had a great time in this house and the surrounding area. House held 4 adults and 2 kids quite well. The hot tub was put to good use and the location was good; did not have that long of a drive for activities nearby. The herb garden outside was an unexpected bonus.

AMAZING!!!!

Our family had such an incredible vacation at this property! The amenities are OUTSTANDING! We loved the theatre room, the view of Pike's Peak, the hot tub and all the little things the hosts did to ensure our vacation was the best ever! We highly recommend this property!

Great Mountain Retreat

We loved the castle! Everything about the house was exactly as described and the hosts could not have been friendlier or more responsive! It's the perfect distance from all of the attractions - Pikes Peak, Garden of the Gods, Cheyenne Mountain Zoo, etc. -not so far to dissuade you from going or hearing "when are going to get there", yet far enough you get some quiet and seclusion. And the view is AMAZING! We highly recommend this retreat!

Wonderful Home with Wonderful Views

My family of 4 stayed at this property over the Memorial Day Weekend and couldn't have been more pleased with our visit. The home has all amenities listed in their property description and more: automatic night lights in the master Bath, a hidden closet, and hidden laundry room for a start. The hosts were very responsive to any questions we had, and included great ideas of where to visit in the area when we could pull ourselves away from the magnificent deck and hot tub. We highly recommend this, Castle with a View!

Dream Vacation in the mountains!!

I almost rated the accuracy of the online listing a 1 star- because the photos and description did NOT tell of the beauty of this home and the amenities included!! We literally teared up when we walked in and saw the amazing view of Pikes Peak from inside the home. The house was absolutely stunning and had everything we needed (and then some). We did have an issue that was out of the owners hands- but we were able to easily get in touch with him- he responded immediately and took care of things to the best of his ability (the issue was with the city). We did have some challenges with the 2nd bedroom bedding not being cleaned- but there was plenty of laundry detergent and a laundry room on site- so no worries there. One of the best vacations we’ve had!

Great Stay

Our family loved the property. Bathrooms were of high quality, TV was easy to use (and included cable TV without having to sign-in), and house is in close proximity to downtown.

Amazing place!!

We were so impressed with all of the details and the incredible views! It made for a wonderful family getaway where lots of memories were made, and the visit was too short. We appreciated how everything was well-stocked and so comfortable too. Wonderful spot!!!

Extraordinary Little Slice of Heaven - Our 6th Stay!!

This is our 6th time staying at "Old World Charm" and each time we absolutely hate leaving. This home is breathtaking, tastefully decorated, and has well-appointed furnishings inside and out. Everything in the pictures is spot on. We especially love the hot tub, movie theatre, steam shower, spectacular views and there is just so much more! The view from the hot tub is like nothing else! This is by far the best all-around VRBO we’ve stayed at, it’s very clean (even the widows are clean), the pictures are exactly what you get, the owners, the peaceful and relaxing atmosphere along with the location. It is so close to everything, and it is a great base camp for all the attractions but is tucked away in a serene area of Woodland Park. The theater room is always such a hit to enjoy at the end of a great day! Lastly, it is so refreshing to have such a fantastic host as Dave. Dave and his wife are absolutely lovely, thoughtful, and communicative and have thought of everything for you to relax and enjoy their little slice of heaven in the mountains. If you are thinking about booking just do it, you will not be disappointed! We will continue to book this VRBO each time we are in Colorado although, with all their fantastic reviews and how impressive the home is, we may not be able to book this house easily. Love to keep this little gem all to ourselves!

Home away from home

Excellent property with all your needs met. Comfortable beds, coffee bar, awesome mountain views (especially of Pikes). Would definitely recommend and will look into booking again nextime we visit!

Mountain Getaway

The house is beautiful and has all the amenities that you could ask for. The location is fantastic for all the local hot spots and sight seeing. Dave and Leslie are great host and respond in a timely manner. The kids loved the theatre room and the view from the hot tub is beautiful. I would 10/10 recommend anyone looking for a luxury vacation home.

Beautiful house with stunning views!

Wow! This property did not disappoint! The house was beautiful and the views were amazing. The location was perfect for a visit to Woodland Park and Colorado Springs. The adults enjoyed all the amenities and attention to detail of the house (chain gutters?!, so impressive and unique), teens enjoyed the movie and game room, but all were in awe of the views of Pikes Peak and surroundings! Highly recommended and will definitely be back. Thank you Dave and Leslie for sharing your home!

Dreamy vacation

This house really has it all! It starts with the view.........absolutely breathtaking! Add in the movie theater, sauna, jacuzzi tub, traeger grill, gas grill, and hot tub, just to name a few, and you've got the perfect home to enjoy, plus close enough to enjoy all the beautiful sights of the area. (Garden of the Gods, 7 Waterfalls, Cheyenne zoo, North Pole) We had an absolute blast! David and Leslie are wonderful hosts, and it was a pleasure to meet them! We highly recommend this outstanding property!!

Perfect getaway

The house was so perfect for our family. Such a beautiful home inside and out. Plenty of space to be together or to be in separate spaces. The theatre and game room were fun. The outdoor space was to die for. Enjoyed the hot tub and fire pit almost every night and you can’t beat sitting in a hot tub and looking at pikes peak. We named the willow flycatchers that hung out with us and landed on our shoulders Wilbur and Wilhemena. There was a lovely buck deer that visited every morning . He was just gorgeous and made us feel welcome. The home was perfectly appointed with everything we could have needed. It was quiet and felt secluded even though there are other homes close by. Quick drive to Colorado Springs or manitou springs. Would come back without hesitation!!! Loved it.

AMAZING!!!!!

Easily the best VRBO we have ever stayed in. This house is epic! From the decor to the movie theater to the hot tub with views of Pike's Peak. Nothing was overlooked. A fantastic central location for all the day trips you could want. We highly recommend and will certainly return when we are back in Colorado.
