Just updated 2019 with new upstairs flooring, newly painted inside and new window coverings. Cable, WiFi, Huge south side patio with beautiful unobstructed views of the beach!

Both the bay and beach host miles of nice boardwalk for walking, biking, and rollerblading. There are many wonderful restaurants for breakfast lunch and dinner and numerous boutique shops on the same street.

So many choices!! Watch sunsets and dolphins directly from the beach, your patio, balcony, or the privacy of your own condo!

The master bedroom is huge with a private balcony, large shower and walk in closet.

The 3rd Bedroom has kids toys, books and videos. We have boogie boards and sand toys for you to use. We have you and your children's needs covered.

2 Large patio table and chairs to watch the action on the boardwalk go by or BBQ and enjoy a drink. Walk, run, roller blade, skateboard, or bike ride on the boardwalk. Sit and relax in the San Diego sun. Visit nearby attractions - Sea World, the World Famous San Diego Zoo, Balboa Park, Legoland, Wild Animal Park, Water Park, Museums, Outlets, shopping, and so much more!

Sisters Get Away!

WOW! WOW! WOW! Book this place today. Beautiful Gull's Rest was the perfect spot. Myself and 6 sisters stayed here for a long weekend and it was the best spot There wasn't one complaint. The Condo was exactly as described. OOPS on US! We did rent a large SUV and just as described in the listing it did not fit in the tandem 2 car garage. We stayed in January so we didn't have to much trouble finding street parking. Kitchen was well stocked and clean. Washer and dryer with soap was a nice feature. The location can't be beat. We would definitely stay here again.

Perfect accommodation!

Loved working with the owner, the location is perfectly central to all of Mission Beach activities and the beachfront. The house was well equipped and easy to be in/keep clean. The only slightly funky thing is that the upstairs residents' patio is directly in front of the living room windows. Luckily they did not use it while we were there. All else was great! Thank you!

Perfect spot!!

We absolutely loved our stay at this property! The location was perfect. We walked pretty much everywhere. We have three kids ages 10, 7 and 1 and this house was perfect for all three. Tons of toys for the beach and even toys/games for at the house. The house itself had everything we needed! Towels, silverware, cooking utensils, etc. Fully stocked! We absolutely loved our stay and would definitely book again!!

LOCATION LOCATION LOCATION!

Can’t say enough great things about stay and our hosts! It really was like staying with friends who weren’t there. Aside from no AC on 2 horribly hot/humid nights it was great short trip! We’ll be back for sure!!

Awesome vacation!

This is one of the best spots to stay on Mission Beach. Property was excellent all around and we could not have asked for anything more. Mark was very easy to get ahold of and so accommodating to our family. Book it today!! You wont find a better property. Cheers!!

Great Vacation Spot

This house is exactly as advertised. The location couldn’t be more perfect. The house was clean and well stocked with plenty of supplies. The views are phenomenal. Beware, the garage is very narrow. We were unable to get one of our vehicles in the garage but we were able to find other convenient parking nearby. You can easily hear noise from the upstairs unit but the owners give you resources to help manage that if it becomes excessive. Great stay. We loved it.

2024 Fun

Such a fun way to kick off 2024. Visited San Diego with my family of 5 and my brother’s family of 4. We had two kids 12 and under and three teens 14-16. Plenty of things for all kids to do on the boardwalk, beach, amusement park, and nearby shops. We definitely want to visit again. Can’t beat this location!

Super get a way

The cental location and right on the beach was perfect. You are off the main road so that you hear the waves and not traffic. The kitchen was well equiped and worked well along with the bbq. We eat most of our meals in. We ere surprised at the extensive beach equipment available. This place is really well outfitted. Mark was very attentive. Anytime we had a question he responded quickly. We highly recommend this place. We will be back. Thanks for a great week.

Amazing location

Really enjoyed our long weekend at this property! More than enough beds for all of us and the location/views can't be beat. As other reviews have mentioned, the parking garage is very narrow so make sure to have friends help you back in. Place was clean and the only complaint (very minor) was we could've used more bathroom towels. Otherwise, fully stocked with tommy Bahama chairs and beach towels. Would definitely return. Thanks for an amazing trip!

Great space, excellent location

The property was exactly as advertised. Mark was a great host, very communicative. We didn’t encounter any issues. Hard to find a better location in the world than right on the boardwalk in Mission Beach!

A fantastic stay

We loved our stay at Gull’s Nest. The weather wasn’t as warm as we had hoped but fortunately, the rental was fantastic enough on its own that we had still had a great time. The location can’t be beat. So much to do. But even doing nothing is enjoyable here!! We definitely hope to return next year!

Family built and owned. With our children not wanting to sell the home we have elected to offer it for rent. The home is family managed, which is a benefit to you as a guest because we are available 24/7 should any problems arise (hopefully NOT). Bottom line is we take pride in our rental home as it was once our family home.
