Coronavirus Update - our units are professionally cleaned after each tenant.

This wonderful unit has just gone through a partial renovation (May 2020). New flooring and windows were installed, along with some fixtures, a fresh coat of paint and new moldings. Don't miss out!

Sunny Mission Beach Vacation House is just steps away from the ocean. The unit is a 2 Bedroom 1 Bath unit that sleeps up to 6 people.

The house has a large patio with a BBQ, table, chairs, and lounge chairs. The unit has a full kitchen and dining area. This unit is great for any family looking for a great summer vacation at the beach. Washer and drier are now available; shared with only 1 other rental unit.

Just a couple of blocks from Belmont park, the vacation house can accommodate a family of up to 6 people. Swimming, beach activities, even Sea World and the zoo are within a short drive.

We rent all year around so please contact us for any fall or holiday getaways!

Please inquire for rates for periods longer than two weeks. This unit is only rented as a short term rental, i.e. 29 nights or less, with no option to extend.

Another Amazing Stay!!

Absolutely love the location!!!! We have stayed on this property the last few years and it never disappoints! Everything we have needed has been available, the house is clean etc. Another great week!

Great location!

It was great! The location was perfect and everything was near by. The cleanliness was lacking. The carpets were kind of gross, it had popcorn and other debris on the floor in the bedrooms. And there was a film on all the surfaces we had to wipe down and we had to sweep the floors to walk around comfortably. It seemed like it was not cleaned between stays or a very quick clean. The bathroom and kitchen were sanitary!

Excellent host

This host is superior to all hosts. I could not get the cable to work. He contacted Spectrum to come out and fix it. The host came to the house to sit and wait for the cable guy so we could enjoy our vacation. The refrigerator was being replaced and the host again was going to babysit the house while they replaced our refrigerator. They actually showed up bright and early so we just dealt with it. It was quick and easy and we had a new refrigerator. The check out procedures are the best, you do not have to do anything!! That’s rare these days! We’ve stayed here twice and will be back!

Perfect beach getaway home

Home was in the perfect location close to everything but south enough to not be in the middle of all the holiday weekend chaos at Belmont. Home was the perfect size and patio was where we spent the majority of our time! Will definitely stay again.

Good for the price

The host was very easy to communicate with. Responded right away with a new coffee pot when the one there didn't work. Bedding and towels clean. Needs better fly control like a screen door on front door because house gets hot during the day and flies come in with the door open. The hot water is so hot it's dangerous. The sponges in the kitchen were very used. Kitchen towels needed. TV didn't work without us using our tablet to cast youtubetv to it. A keypad lock would be much easier to deal with to get in and out. Our Explorer did NOT fit in the garage so we had to find parking each day. I assumed the description would have a warning about what size car could fit but it didn't and I should have asked. The washer and dryer were in great working condition and had soap and dryer sheets available. The fridge and microwave counter top light both need lightbulbs so it's hard to see at night without the very bright kitchen light on. Fridge and stovetop work great. Oven cooks but doesn't broil. Carpet needs cleaning. Patio chairs, table and lounge chairs were great. Beach chairs,umbrella and boogie boards were appreciated.

Wonderful Stay - We Upgraded Mattresses

We had a great stay. I would definitely rent again. Communication could have been better. Asked a question with no response and I bought $50 mattress pads for both beds to update the beds because they were so uncomfortable. I didn’t ask for repayment but when I let homeowner/manager know there was no response. So for future guests - the best are now comfortable :-) That being said, the house was amazing, well kept, a lot of cooking equipment (impressive amount), great patio, and nice neighbors.

Amazing stay

Had a fantastic time staying in Dover Court! Awesome location with the boardwalk about 100 steps in one direction and Layze Eye Coffee 300 steps in the opposite direction. Mgmt was very responsive, check-in process/directions were easy to follow. Kitchen was very well equipped. Would definitely recommend and stay in the future!

Family visit to San Diego

The house was great. It was a little tight for a family of four as kids can get messy, but it was a perfect location with easy access to the beach, the boardwalk, the amusement park and getting out and about for day trips. Sitting on the patio in the evenings and hearing the ocean waves all night was just perfect. I didn't realize that there were two other apartments on the property upon booking. You are very close to others, but that is beach life. You are close to all of the houses. We were in luck that each of the other tenants were really nice people. Considerate of kids bedtimes and moving in and out without disturbing each other. You really can't ask for a better location. Stand out points to consider: * Host provides beach supplies (chairs, towels, toys, umbrella even a cooler) *Kitchen supplies for making all meals *Garage! Tight, but made life so much easier. I recommend a smaller SUV or sedan. *Large front patio to enjoy the sound of the ocean any time of day. *Location is awesome, I thought being close to the amusement park would be troublesome, but you hardly noticed it. *One negative, the beds are not particularly comfortable. We had a great time and would stay here again.

Family vacation

This place was great! It was a good location within 20 min of anything you wanted to do and less than a block to the beach. Very clean and well stocked.

Awesome location for a beach house!

This beach house is located in the perfect area on Mission Beach. Literally a 20 second walk to the beach! Tight for parking with a large vehicle, but there is a free parking lot just two blocks away. Cannot recommend this place enough!

Another Amazing Stay!!!

This was our 3rd year on this property and 1st year for this particular unit... absolutely loved it!!!! Had zero issues as usual and plenty of blankets, towels, kitchen items etc... Location is perfect!!!!

Great location, a little small

Such a great location!! Literally steps to the beautiful beach! There was plenty of seating outside, a handy washer and dryer, and chairs available for the beach. It was a little small, given it sleeps 6 but we were happy there with our group. Our only complaint is that the carpets were quite stained and gave a bit more of a dingy appearance. Otherwise it was clean and comfortable. Would definitely stay again!

Fall Getaway

We have come to Mission Beach since 1991. Ours needs have varied, but have narrowed to two bedroom cottages. This is by far the best property. Rarely have we had a dishwasher and never a refrigerator with an ice maker. This property has been well upgraded. It met our needs as two seniors looking to have a relaxing mini-vacation, We will definitely look first next year to book here.

Sister Trip

We loved the location, the house was perfect one minute walking to the beach was great. Lots of food and things to do with in walking distance the only down fall was the parking even though they had a small garage our car did not fit so very had to find parking otherwise had a great time would stay again 😀

Perfect space for family

Our stay here was absolutely wonderful! Perfect proximity to the beach with a little one. Our toddler enjoyed playing ball on the patio and m on the sand. There were plenty of beach accessories left from previous parties for the family to enjoy. When the water heater broke, the owner arrived within 30 minutes and when it would take a day to fix, he compensated us appropriately. The neighborhood is mostly quite through the night though we did hear fireworks one night. Garage is a bit tight but fit our midsize suv perfectly. We will definitely stay here again.
