The Association of Apartment Owners (AOAO) of Marine Surf Waikiki has contracted Seal Masters of Hawaii to perform a major Exterior Concrete Repair and Painting Project. This important work will help preserve the safety, structure, and long-term value of our building.

Project Details
Start Date: Monday, October 27, 2025
Duration: Approximately 6–12 months (weather & conditions permitting)
Work Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. (excluding weekends & holidays)
Noise Hours: 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. (jackhammering, grinding, and vibration expected)

Access: Work performed via swing stage scaffolding; areas below active drops will be closed for safety. During lanai repairs, contractors may secure lanai doors from the outside, leaving no more than a 4" gap for airflow.

Pool Closure
For safety reasons, the swimming pool will remain CLOSED during the entire duration of the project. The pool area will not be accessible until all exterior work is complete.

Other Considerations
Keep windows/doors closed and curtains drawn for privacy and dust control.

Expect construction dust and vibrations despite safety measures. Some dust is unavoidable.

Noise will travel to adjacent units. Your patience and cooperation are appreciated

This studio unit comes with 2 full-sized beds, full kitchen, full bathroom, and a free assigned parking which is available throughout your stay. The full kitchen is equipped with everything you need to cook up your favorite meal. There is also a lanai where you can enjoy seeing the busy streets of Waikiki. Your rental includes free WiFi, cable TV, free local phone service, and access to pool and laundry facility in the building.

The Marine Surf Waikiki Condominium is located just a block from Fort DeRussy Beach Park, the Royal Hawaiian Village, and International Marketplace for shopping galore, dining, and nightlife. The bus stop is only a 2 minute walk and can take you anywhere in Waikiki. A leisurely stroll down the street will take you right to Waikiki Beach.

Please note: We do not provide daily housekeeping services or towel/linen change.

We provided Welcome Kit which includes toilet paper, shampoo, conditioner, and bar soap. Free Wi-Fi is also available.

Basic 1978

Place in dire need of a reno. Everything in there in desperate need of an update. Toilet too small for anyone over five feet two inches to properly use sitting down. Less than basic. Screen door barely would slide open. Appears run down and shabby.

Good location, needs remodelling

Excellent location, parking and check in very convenient. Apartment itself very outdated, mattresses uncomfortable. Kitchen outdated but well equipped. I would look for a remodeled place.

Der Aufenthalt war ganz angenehm. Die Lage war sehr gut, es war cool eine kleine Küche zu haben. Man hat nur sehr viel von der Strasse gehört.

Great location!

The Marine Surf Waikiki is a well kept property. The room we stayed in had a great view. It could use some room darkening curtains and a dresser that the drawers pull out easier and don’t fall out if pulled too far. Overall I would stay here again.

Stay was adequate

Security was a bit lax… the door to the foyer area was always open and not locked. Thankfully the elevator requires a key fob. It wasn’t clear where the mailboxes are so I had a tough time getting my key fob. AC never got cold. I think I was at 74 degrees the entire 11 stay.

Hang Ten for 81 year brother & 89 sister who had double wedding 57 years ago.

Location, location, location I Enjoyed proximity to Waikiki Beach. Ate at Dukes. Royal Hawaiian center and meal at Mahalaha. Next door, McDonald’s was handy for coffee. Extra umbrella chair mat and beach towels was not expected, but appreciated.

Easy self-registration process with the instructions provided. This is a preference of mine; beds were too hard to sleep comfortably. But if a firm mattress is preferred or you don't mind sleeping on a hard surface, this is the perfect condo!

Week long stay

The property has a very good location and the parking spot is great to have for exploring the island. The kitchen was great to save some money on meals, and the laundry room prices are very reasonable.

Great location.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: 5 stars for its location and a reserved parking spot. Check in was very easy and the property manager was very professional. It also has air conditioning which is a huge plus. However, everything inside is very old and some of the things are breaking down. Considering it's price, I am ok with having only basic necessities but I expect them to be in working condition. The lanai curtain gets stuck every time its opened and it was struggle to close it. It has most utensils but they are either unclean or breaking down. The non-stick cookware has scratches in them which could be a health hazard when cooking. The knives have deposits on them in the corners of handles which shows that they were not cleaned properly for a long time. Once the pillow covers are removed, you notice that the pillows are all stained. I doubt if the pillows were ever cleaned. The floor was vacuumed but it was sticky. We tried to wipe parts of the floor with clorox wipes and they turned BLACK which shows that the floor was probably never mopped. We loved it's location and price. However, everything else inside needs a thorough clean. We will probably rebook this place if we visit again as it is close to everything but we will probably bring our own sheets and clean everything before we use.

Great Spot!

Overall, it has been a great spot to stay. Right in the middle of the hub with many places to go, dine, grab a drink, shop, and explore. Near beaches and close to the highway. The place was clean and spacious. Having the AC to sleep if it were too hot was also a plus. I’d definitely stay here again.

Great location

This apartment is really nice and clean and equipped with everithing you need. The location is close to the Waikiki Beach and you have a free parking spot in the building garage which is good if you rented a car. Everything was just as described and I enjoyed my stay.

Family Visit

The location is great….walking distance to the beach, shops and restaurants in Waikiki. Parking was provided which is a must have if you have a car. The room was clean with good Wi-Fi connections and air conditioning.
