We really couldn’t have picked a better house. The location was great. Real close to chimney rock area. We brought our John boat with us and were able to tube, knee board, fish, etc. swam from the dock. Kids loved it. Made s’mores. Used the grill a lot. You need to bring essentials like extra toilet paper, trash bags, beach towels, shampoo conditioner etc. they had spices. But limited cutting utensils and limited pans to cook with. Otherwise it was perfect.

Perfect stay for our long weekend at the lake. House is clean, spacious, comfortable beds and had everything we needed. We will definitely stay here again in the future.

Perfect place to relax with my dear friends. We had to scramble to find a place when our other VRBO fell through 1day before we were going on our girls getaway and the place was perfect. Kitchen had an abundance of everything we needed to cook meals, view was amazing, beds were comfortable and bathroom situation was great. Great place fir wonderful weekend getaway

This is a fabulous property in a perfect location that afforded the optimum retreat for our family reunion. The living accommodations were comfortable and perfect for a multi-night stay. The firepit is a huge plus--we thoroughly enjoyed our time chatting around the fire each night. Owners are very responsive and accommodating. Overall, a wonderful stay!!!

What an amazing place! The deck and boat launch are perfect and we enjoyed time at all the local restaurants like Oskar’s, The Social and Chuck’s. The hosts were extremely friendly and the place was very clean. Highly recommend staying here.

Perfect Auburn Lake House

This was a beautiful property with tons of space inside and outside. The decks and dock were perfect for a lakeside getaway. The owner was so helpful and provided lots of suggestions and help while we were visiting Auburn for a college visit. The quick 45 minute drive to campus was easy, but gave us the added benefit of staying on such a beautiful property at Lake Martin.

Amazing stay

Brent is such a great host. Everything was exactly a stated in the listing. There are no words to describe how amazing our time was at Lake Martin. The location is better than advertised.

Great Mother’s Day weekend!

The entire family enjoyed your beautiful lake house. It was clean, spacious and had a great view! So relaxing. The house had everything we needed including some nice treats! Thank you George and Chris!!

Great location

Great location. Minutes to public boat ramp if you’re bringing your own boat. Great cove to wakeboard and surf. Comfy house! Great kitchen space. Has a boat lift with a cover. Can get pretty choppy , bring lots of buoys

Great Location

The house was clean and had everything you could need. We had 13 adults and everyone had a bed to sleep. We were near chimney rock and goat island . Also 2 of the marinas were close. The porch has a wonderful view.

We had a fantastic Thanksgiving week stay at this house. Firepit is perfect this time of year to build a fire and look out over the lake. Beds are super comfortable and the kitchen is fully furnished. It was nice to have a refrigerator in the kitchen and another one downstairs for storage of bigger items and leftovers. Nice touch on that! The dock area is super nice and we used the kayaks. Note: The house does not supply life jackets so we brought our own. 47 Steps from the dock to the firepit. The back porch was enjoyed by everyone on the trip. It has plenty of room for everyone to spread out and do their own thing. If you want a relaxing and quiet getaway with the capability to sleep lots of people in a clean home, this is your spot! Hopefully, we will stay here again!

Perfect Lake Martin Home

Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this beautiful lake home. The house was clean and comfortable. The exterior of the home is fantastic with multiple outdoor spaces available to enjoy the scenery and the lake. The wharf and boat lift are ideal for the fishermen. The owner was exceptional to deal with, tending to all of our needs, and answering any questions, yet giving us plenty of privacy. I hope we are able to visit again next year.

Best Place Yet!

We stay at Lake Martin every year for a summer trip. Our usual VRBO was being renovated and we had to find another location. This home more than exceeded all of our expectations and we will now try and book this location from now on. It has plenty of sleeping space, room for both of our large trailers in the driveway. A lot of safe mooring space for our four SeaDoo’s and 30’ boat. The home is on the back side of a peninsula so there is minimal wake as well. Host was super nice and very accommodating.

Beautiful House on Lake Martin

We had an awesome stay at this property. The landscaping and layout made it feel surprisingly secluded. The view was amazing. Everything in the home was clean and comfortable. The owner was very responsive to all of our questions and even sent a text after we checked in to make everything was good. The water in the lake was low due to seasonal water-level management, but there were still a few fishing boats out and we had a great time with kayaks. The 50(!) steps down to the dock were all well-maintained. We also really enjoyed enjoyed the stone patio and fire pit. Jordan-Hare was an easy 35-minute drive away, so this house was perfect for our weekend.
