We had a wonderful stay! The cabin was clean, comfortable and in a beautiful, peaceful location on Lake Martin. The private dock was perfect, and renting the boat made our trip even more memorable. Kyle was an outstanding host—very responsive, accommodating, and easy to communicate with throughout our stay. We truly enjoyed our time here and would definitely stay again!

We LOVED this place! I'd describe it as clean, cozy and just beautiful. One of my favorite things about staying here was watching the sunrise with our morning coffee and a beautiful view of the lake! Book today! You wont regret it!

This was our second year staying at the Cabin in Alexander City, and once again, we had a wonderful stay! Kyle is an excellent host, and we love the location. It’s close to plenty of stores and services, which means less time running errands and more time enjoying the lake!The house is very clean and has everything you need to cook meals for the family. We especially love the downstairs suite, which gives our young adult daughter and a friend their own space away from the parents!Being able to rent the boat right on site is such a huge plus. This year, we were excited to see a tube and kneeboard added for even more fun on the lake. Kyle’s dock is also equipped with a fire pit, paddleboard, and kayaks.It really has everything you need for a relaxing lake getaway and to make lasting family memories. We love that we can bring along our furry family member, Torrie. She is so happy with all the new smells and absolutely loves her boat rides! We’re already looking forward to our next stay!

The property is very easy to get to and the view is beautiful. The host is very easy to get in touch with and checked on us during our stay to make sure everything was going ok. Would stay definitely stay here in the future.

Our family absolutely loved this property. The house was clean and comfortable. It was well set up with everything we needed for our stay. The view was spectacular. We had an incredible experience watching the moon rise across the lake from us and we took some amazing photos. We rented the pontoon boat and it was so comfortable. It was wonderful to cruise on the lake on it. Communication with Kyle was great. He was quick to respond and easy to work with. My daughter is already asking when we are going back. Hopefully, it will be sooner than later!

We had a wonderful time! The property was well appointed and just as pictured. I think the cabin was decorated very nicely and stocked with everything one might need for a weekend stay. We would definitely stay again!!

We were 2 retired couples that met at Kyle's house for a fishing trip. We loved the fact that the downstairs was its own private apartment complete with refrigerator and coffee maker. Each couple had the degree of privacy that was comfortable. The view from the porch was great and we loved eating our meals out there. The house was very clean and the beds were super comfortable. The kitchen was very well equipped with quality pots and pans. We also enjoyed the firepit down by the dock. The water in March was deep enough for my husband to tie his boat up there. Kyle was very kind and responsive. We would definitely return there for another couples fishing trip!

This was the perfect place for our family to stop for a quick vacation before a vacation! Kyle was incredibly generous and the cabin is very well kept! The boat was a great addition to our trip and the family loved it! Additionally, the view was incredible and the accommodations were perfect. Anyone that is looking to explore lake Martin, should definitely consider this rental! We will be back next year - and can’t wait to see what additions are added by Kyle!

Wonderful Quiet Retreat on Lake Martin

My husband and two pups had a wonderful stay at Elks Cove. Kyle is excellent at answering questions quickly and was very helpful ahead of our trip. The house is as described in the listing and the inside and outside were clean and well maintained. We also rented the boat, and it was very nice, clean, and comfortable for exploring the lake. We loved how quiet the property is and would absolutely rent here again.

It's difficult to find properties that offer the same level of privacy on Lake Martin that you'll find at our cabin. With this cabin sitting on close to 14 private acres, you'll have all the leg room you need. Plus, with a great view, water-access, close proximity to local activities/restaurants/etc and close proximity to 280 for quick trips to Alexander City or Auburn for game day, it's difficult to find a better option in our humble opinions.

Aside from the additional acreage and modern amenities available to our guests, the cabin has the unique benefit of being able to cater to various groups with private entrances for both the top and bottom floors (no interior stairs). Whether you have a larger family or are sharing the property with friends, the cabin offers great versatility and maximum privacy depending on your preferences. It's like getting two properties for the price of one!
