The crappie, bluegill, catfish and carp was great. Has a community boat ramp but we didn't need to use it because we caught enough fish from the dock.

We had a great time at this cabin. We got to rest and relax. We loved the fact that it was all wilderness across the water. We saw a couple of bald eagles and I got a crappie. The bed was comfortable. This cabin has everything needed for a good time.OC was very nice. He came over on the 2nd day to see if there was anything we needed. We were fishing, and he gave us some tips as well as some of the history of the the area. Thanks for letting us stay there OC.

The property was just as described. We truly enjoyed our stay, especially the screened porch, where we spent every afternoon admiring the scenery...the spring-green trees reflected on the lake. Our host/owner was extremely nice and helpful; even the neighbor was very helpful. It was our first trip to Lake Martin, but not our last.

The view is amazing. The home and property are very dated and in need of repairs but you can see most of that on the listing. We stayed 8 days and had limited towels and bath clothes. I contacted the owner, who answered promptly, came over and gave a few more towels but no bath clothes. So, 3 people staying 8 days had 6 bath clothes. There is a washer and dryer but I did not particularly want to wash every 2 days! So, since I live close, I went home and got bath clothes. We had a wonderful time and the fishing and swimming was great. It is in a great location to boat and kayak. Just do not expect much from the house or the amenities.

The view was great! And so peaceful. The house did so much remind me of my grandma's house, but had all the amenities we needed, very well furnished! The king size bed was very comfortable. Our host was most special, a very nice accommodating host. Was very nice of him to come around and introduce himself and check on us.
