Mar-Y-Sol. Sea and Sun. Enjoy both from the many decks. Well maintained with a private pool, floating dock and fish sink. The house backs up to a canal. Upstairs loft has a day bed with trundle for extra accommodations. Open floor plan with cathedral ceiling in great room, well-equipped kitchen, many Smart TVs, super fast WiFi, Alexa-enabled music, Jacuzzi bathtub, W/D, hot water outdoor shower, lots of outdoor furniture. The 2 bedrooms on the 1st floor each have their own bathroom. The upstairs bedrooms share a Jack and Jill bathroom. Water views from every room!! Great beach access. Bring your family and enjoy!!! Bed linens and towel sets are provided.

Holden Beach Gataway

Very convenient, with plenty of parking. Great fall getawaay. Fishing was better than usual. We’ll be back.

Great Location and Everything You Need

Communication with host was excellent, great location to beach access and canal. Plenty of room for everyone to have space, kitchen had everything you could need, we have stayed at many different places in Holden and this was by far the most accommodating. We will definitely stay here again, mainly because our host checked in with us multiple times to ensure we had a great experience.

Great location and pool; property needs some tlc

The location on the canal and second row from the ocean was ideal as was the pool. The house layout is good, too. The interior and furniture are dated with some pieces broken. Additionally, the house could use a deep clean. A deck off of one of the bedrooms was under repair, so unusable. We’d love to visit here again but would hope the cleaning and repair issues would be resolved.

Quiet relaxing trip

Holden Beach was a nice, quiet little town. This house is located a short walk to the beach. The private pool was nice and we were able to see a sea turtle from the private dock. The home had all the standard equipment as needed for a week-long stay. Our listing said there was a hot tub and had a picture of a gas grill, neither were included but the owner was very responsive when I brought those issues up and the listing has been edited. There is a charcoal grill. Overall the house was nice and perfect for our family.

Great view, private pool and easy access to beach and inlet

The host was very accommodating and provided excellent directions to make it easy to get into the house after a long drive. There is plenty of room to sprawl out in the house. The view from the crow's nest is awesome. The pool was great, and the access to the inlet was a welcome surprise.

Great Beach Week

Second time at this place and won't be the last. Everything is as advertised. Had an issue with the dryer and it was fixed in less than 24hrs. Al is a great host, we look forward to next summer.

Wonderful

We enjoyed our stay, nice home, loved the pool! Enjoyed the views of the canal and beach. Loved the walks on the beach, and down the street. Enjoyed the search for sharks teeth! The host was very responsive and punctual!

Needs updates

Property photos are accurate but the property needs some updates to the bathrooms, kitchen and furniture. There were issues with bugs and the upstairs toilet that were brought to the owners attention. Property is close to the beach and the pool was great.

Our Easter Break

Our stay was fantastic and we enjoyed every minute. The roof top is perfect for extra windy days and star filled nights!! The heated pool was definitely worth it and we will enjoy a stay in Holden again!! Thank you!!

Great house

Love this house we have stayed in it back in 2017. The pool is great and the location to the beach is amazing. We definitely love the opportunity to stay here as we go to Holden beach every summer.

Great time had by all

The place was very clean and neat. Very well stocked. Grandkids enjoyed fishing off the dock and everyone enjoyed the pool. Walk to beach access was a bit challenging with children. Would recommend to guests, a beach cart/wagon that would make it much easier.

Cute and convenient!

The house is clean and has a great open floor plan with plenty of room for family and friends to gather and play. Every room has its own TV and Roku setup, and the loft leads out to a widow’s walk for fantastic stargazing. The kitchen is a little tight, but what one isn’t with 8+ people staying in a house? Public beach access is close by, and the pier and general store (and ice cream!) are only a few blocks away as well. The owner was prompt and polite in all communications. This house will definitely will be on our list to stay again in the future!

Wonderful Spring Break

Amazing home with great views of both the intercostal waterway and the ocean across the street. Beds were comfortable and clean. We had a slight problem with the pools heater not working but owner was responsive and issued a refund for the inconvienence. Would stay here again.

Great vacation

We enjoyed our stay at Mary Sol. The house had plenty of space, and then some with lots of water views. Close to beach access. The kitchen was very well stocked and there was even a welcome bag with a starter kit of essentials. We will definitely return!

Great location and amenities

This was the perfect property for a family on vacation. Pool, beach across the street and on the canal with a dock…what more could you ask for. Highly maintained with well appointed kitchen and welcome bag! Tons of entertainment channels for both kids and adults, this house had everything we needed. Had a great stay and Holden Beach is a great family location!

This was perfect!

Staying at Mar-Y-Sol was absolutely perfect. Just what we were looking for for a family vacation. Everything was as is on the ad. So pretty and perfect setting. With the ocean across the street and the canal behind the house; there was easy access to all waterways. Kayaking, fishing, crabbing and looking for shells was fabulous. The house was clean and spacious. AND THE POOL....a plus...it was soooo hot out. Al is a wonderful host and responded immediately to me when I had a couple of questions. (Thank you Al). Perfect family vacation!

Great 1st Visit to Holden Beach!

This was our first time in Holden and this house could not have been more perfect for us! We thoroughly enjoyed the private pool and loved how close we were to the public beach access! The amenities provided were great and the welcome bag was such a nice touch. The only thing we wish was different was that all bathrooms had showers, as the one bedroom just has a jacuzzi tub. Not super inconvenient and we just shared with the kids upstairs. We also loved the rooftop deck and enjoyed our morning coffee out there every morning. This is a perfect property for families and for those who like to split their time between the pool and beach. We can’t wait to come back!

We loved staying here!!! There are so many bed options that’s it’s perfect for a group!

The beach was a short walk and the dock behind the house was a huge favorite!!!! We caught fish and crabs with fishing rods and used nets to catch shrimp and crabs too! The kayaks were awesome too! We fished from the kayak and my son went on his first kayak ride! We loved the pool too!!! It’s so nice to have the pool for the kids and for us to cool off in! The beach was huge and fantastic! We found a lot of shells and crabs!
