A charming vintage duplex that retains it's original character while offering a warm cottage feel. Located at The Point Emerald Isle. Easy walk to Two Beach Accesses. Great Sunrise and Sunset Views. Ocean and Sound Views. Off season Driving access (check with Town of Emerald Isle). Fishing, or just weekend getaway. Great access to Coast Guard road 2.5 mile walk, run, or bike path. This is an original older home. Quiet neighborhood. Screened in porch. Upper deck with chairs/lounge chairs. kitchen with full size refrigerator, full size stove/oven, microwave, dish washer and Keurig. Clothes washer and dryer. Outdoor shower with hot/cold water.
This is an East and West side duplex and there is a homeowner that lives in the west side.
**We do not provide towels or linens.

Great location, reasonable price, quiet neighborhood, short walk to the point and the beach. Beach is wide and not crowded. Upon arrival the refrigerator did smell like fish and required cleaning, and the street garbage can was practically full. Probably that is the fault of the prior tenant. The place is on the rustic side but for the price quite nice .

Please note the bedrooms are upstairs and not one level. The two doubles bed were hard to sleep in. Apparently the King bed was good.

Very nice property. Great location, short walk to the beach. Host was very responsive to messages. Beds were comfortable, good amount of space, nice screened in back deck. We will definitely be staying again.

We enjoyed our week at this cute beach cottage. Location near the Point and other beach access was perfect. Kitchen and living room were great to hang out as a family. We loved the screened in porch. The bathrooms were a bit small and lacked counter space. Overall a great spot to enjoy the beach!

Lovely spacious space to spend a week away. Kitchen had everything we needed and more. Good dishwasher and washer dryer made keeping tidy so much easier. Entrances to the Point and to the ocean side beach were each two blocks walk. Love the laid back feel of the place. Bedrooms upstairs kept our family's different sleep schedules from having to tiptoe around each other. Convenient outdoor shower for washing off sand was appreciated. Covered deck on living room level was a nice space protected from the weather, while the top deck allowed you to see the ocean between the beachfront houses. We had an impressive lightning display one night and the top deck was a great place to watch. Host was a great communicator.

This house is so cute! We stayed here and we are most definitely staying again. The house is in a perfect place not long walk to the point and not long walk to the beach access the Atlantic Ocean too! I would say the walk to the beach you got a decent size dune to go over so be mindful of that. The house was very clean and perfect for a small family or a few friends!

This duplex is in a great location & located on the pointe! Only a 5-10 minute drive to town. The walk to the beach is very short, but just as a heads up most of the walk is in sand. The home itself is very clean & the host was great communicating with us making sure we were all set for check in! The only downside is towels & linens aren’t provided, and extra trash bags however the host makes this known ahead of time so we were prepared. Overall, great stay & would stay again!

Great Location!

We loved our stay! The house is in a perfect location- just a short walk from the beach. Very quiet area and much less crowded section of the beach.

FANTASTIC location - if you like the point at Emerald Isle, this is a great spot. Less than ten minutes from all the resultants in town.

We had a WONDERFUL weekend here! The views were spectacular, very comfortable beds and furniture, and plenty of stocked items in the kitchen and outdoor seating. It is a very charming stay :).

I would first like to acknowledge that the host was responsive and maintained good communication throughout the process. My concerns are not with the host's communication, but with the condition of the property itself.Unfortunately, the home was not represented at an acceptable standard for a vacation rental. The most concerning issue was the condition of both bathrooms. They were extremely dirty and appeared poorly maintained. There was visible mold on the faucets, shower curtains, and around the tub. We also found hair throughout the bathrooms despite the first members of our group to arrive being my father and brothers, all of whom are bald. The toilets were stained, and the overall cleanliness of these spaces was unacceptable.Beyond the bathrooms, the home showed significant signs of neglect. The air vents had a thick buildup of dust, and the property felt outdated and in need of maintenance. While I understand beach homes experience wear and tear, as someone who stays in Emerald Isle every year, this went far beyond normal aging and was simply unsanitary.Another disappointment was the lack of basic linens. The property did not provide sheets, towels, pillowcases, or other essentials that many travelers expect. While this may have been disclosed, it added to an already negative experience.Had we known the true condition of the home, my family and I would have chosen to stay elsewhere. Unfortunately, due to timing and circumstances, we had no practical alternative
