You will love this spacious downtown condo that is right across the famous Grand Haven Musical Fountain and boardwalk. Wake up in the morning with endless natural light shining through the large window. Grab a cup of coffee across the street at Odd Side Ales, or in our kitchen, and watch the boats from the balcony. With dozens of restaurants, bars, and shops in walking distance you will never be bored.

Looking to entertain? The rooftop lounge provides amazing 360 view of the city and the lake. Further, the rooftop is furnished with dining tables, couches, and grills for your use. This rooftop may be the best place to relax in all of West Michigan!

But, let's be honest. You are here for the beach. Lucky for you, we have plenty of that. The gorgeous beach at Grand Haven State Park is only a 20 minute walk along the boardwalk. Or, if you want to pack the water toys and surf board (because there will be surfing waves) and drive, it is approximately a 2 minute drive. Four other beaches are within a 15-minute drive. You will NEVER get bored here.

Great Location

We visit GH every summer and this is the first time we stayed downtown. This property has the best location! All of our favorite spots are walkable. The rooftop is very cool and if we had planned it better, I’m sure a perfect place to watch fireworks.

Golf trip

Beautiful walkable location. One bathroom did not have hot water but the host was responsive and easy to work with. They provided a slight discount. Clean and well set up place. In a commercial building but still cozy.

Family weekend

This property was exactly as listed. The location cannot be beat. Right in the heart of downtown. The condo was clean and well stocked. We would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful condo! Perfect location!

Our family of four wanted a short getaway in Grand Haven and this property was the perfect choice. The condo is within walking distance to all attractions and is very clean and comfortable. Our kids loved watching the fountain show from the rooftop each night. Parking is easy with a lot right behind the building. Will definitely stay again!

Excellent downtown location

Overall our experience was wonderful. One drawback to the property was the decorative opening leading from the master bedroom into the living room. Each room could hear every sound the other room made.

Great Condo, Great Location, Great stay The only downside was parking. I had to pay for overnight parking, and if you leave, you are not guaranteed a spot when you get back.

Grand Haven Downtown Condo

Condo was beautiful and adequately furnished. Located right in the heart of downtown Grand Haven across from the musical fountain nightly show. In fact we watched it from the roof and it was amazing! Parking can be a challenge with the busy summer weekends. We had to purchase an overnight parking pass nightly for $5 so we wouldn’t get a parking ticket or get towed. Otherwise, I would gladly stay there again next summer!!

Awesome location!

This unit is in a great location! I was able to walk to the pier/beach every morning. SO beautiful! We were able to walk to restaurants and shopping every day too. We loved it! We didn't know about the Musical Fountain until we stumbled upon it on our way home from dinner. You can watch it from the rooftop! The unit was nice and spacious for us. And well appointed. Communication with the owner was easy too. Great experience!

Great Location

Location was perfect for shopping & eating. The unit was enough space for 4 adults. Beds, pillows & towels were not good. Pillows were worn out & towels & wash cloths were stained. Beds would probably be ok with a topper - they are very very firm. No cushions for balcony chairs. Roof top patio was fantastic after a day of 'vacationing'.

Perfect location and extremely comforable!

We stayed on Grand Haven on our first visit to Michigan traveling from Virginia. I thought it would be a great central location to see Silver Lake, Holland and Saugatuck. Not only was GH a perfect beach town, but this apartment location could not be beat! Right on Washington Street and close to the harbor boardwalk. We walked to the state park easily and we’re in a great location to shop and have morning coffee. The apartment is quiet bc it’s on the back side of the building. No noise from the street out front. Easy to park and get around. The apartment itself had everything we needed. We’ll appointed with kitchen needs, washer and dryer, enough towels and pillows. My son slept on the super comfy pull out couch (no metal bar across his back!) our daughter slept on a pillow soft mattress and we slept on a bed fit for royalty. Bathrooms were clean and updated. Honestly, the apartment was a perfect landing spot for the end of our vacation!

Lovely location, some challenges

The condo is decorated and located to perfection. Right in downtown Grand Haven, very easy for restaurants, Boardwalk, access to beach. There were some issues that made being truly comfortable and “at home” challenging. First, there is a decorative hole in one bedroom that lets in some light, but all the sound from the rest of the condo. Second, the second bedroom’s bed is very high off the ground, which is a challenge for anyone with mobility issues like myself. Third, the fridge and freezer never got Really cold, so we were not able to store any food there. Not a huge issue for us since we planned to eat out a lot, but could be for others. This is a great place to stay if you want to be in the thick of it as a tourist- but I wouldn’t recommend it for families or those who may want to be “in” more.

Good location for all Grand Haven has to offer

Overall the property was nice. It’s right downtown, about 1.25 miles from the pier. For the actual property: 1. The green bathroom is a bit cramped and was missing a towel hook. The shower does not have a light in it. There is very little counter space. 2. The second bedroom has a very high and extremely uncomfortable bed. It is being held up by blocks and made the mattress bend at a terrible angle. 3. My husband and I couldn’t stay in the master bedroom because there is an opening into the living room - basically the wall doesn’t go all the way to the ceiling. Our teen was sleeping on the sofa bed! There would not have been any privacy. Unfortunately this meant that we couldn’t take advantage of the master bedroom and on suite. 4. There were always restaurant employees smoking outside the door by the dumpsters. Our balcony also overlooked the dumpsters, leading to some unpleasant smells when we tried to hang out there. Also it is shared with the unit next door. 5. Parking is $5 for overnight, and they come around 10am to mark cars, as daytime parking is limited to 3 hours. We received a ticket one day once we slept in, so make sure you move your car every three hours and pay for overnight. Overall we were happy, but were so sore after the third night we were very glad we didn’t book for longer. For the money we paid we would have expected it to be nicer than it was, but if location is important to you then this will likely fit the bill.
