Check out this Gem at The Point!

Located at the Point of Emerald Isle, Here Comes the Sun is ready for the 2025 beach rental season. Whether you choose to sit on the porches listening to the waves or watching the deer that ponder throughout the property daily, the home is filled with entertainment for adults and children.
The Point offers privacy to beachgoers with its large sandy beaches with plenty of space. Public beach access to the ocean is a short stroll away, approximately a 5-minute walk. The distance between the end of the beach access boardwalk to the water is approximately 1/8 of a mile through the sand. Enjoy basking in the sun, fishing, or collecting seashells, The Point is an excellent beach for it.

Sleep up to 14 people in this 2077 sq foot home with two separate living quarters. Outdoor stairs to lower-level apartment.

The main level and top floor has:
Master bedroom (Q) with a full bathroom. TV w/ dvd player
Second bedroom with 2 full beds, full bathroom in the hallway.
Upstairs bedroom with 2 full beds, a full bathroom and outside deck. TV

On the ground floor is a separate apartment area with
Living area w/ sofa bed (Q) and TV
Dining area
Kitchen
Full bathroom
Master bedroom (Q)
Side bedroom (Twin bunk)
Laundry room with a washer and dryer
Note that the side bedroom and laundry room must be accessed through the master bedroom.

The garage has an extra refrigerator for whatever occasion it is needed.

Cable TV with 100+ channels and hi-speed Wi-fi throughout the home.

No Pets Allowed.

Linens are be included with the booking automatically. The linens include bed sheets, bath towels and kitchen towels. Beach towels are not included. The booking cost will be decreased by $175 if you wish to remove the linen service from the rental. Just let me know and I'll remove the charge.

We had a wonderful time at The Point in Emerald Beach! The location to public beach access was great, my kids loved the calm waters and shelling. The house was great for our multigenerational family ranging from an infant to early 70s. We enjoyed the family suite downstairs and the wildlife that came to visit each evening/early morning. Thank you!

House was nice and the attached apartment was excellent for the adults without children. The house doesn’t have an ocean view and the dunes were terrible when we stayed. We did enjoy our vacation and we had enough room for the entire family.

2025 vacation

We had a great time and enjoyed our week. We would rather have had inside steps to connect since there were showers 3 of our 7 days.But it was still very nice! WE saw deer almost every day. there were also rabbits and turtles in the yard. Thank you!!

Great week

Our family had a great week! Lots of space for kids to run, lots of local wildlife to be seen (rabbits, deer, opossum, tree frogs).Lots of great beach toys and beach equipment provided.Host was extremely responsive to questions!

Great beach house!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Here Comes the Sun! At the Point of Emerald Isle, the house is conveniently located between two public beach access points and end of the island. The beach at this part of the island is very wide and has fun tidal pools at low tide.The house is the first beach house we have rented that has felt like a home away from home. Our large party was able to spread out between the three levels, giving us full bathroom(s) and bedroom(s) at each level. We found the beds comfortable, and the kitchen fully stocked with dishes, pots, pans, glasses, mugs, etc.Jessica and Matt were extremely responsive and helpful during our stay. We hope to visit Here Comes the Sun again soon!

Perfect, Peaceful Getaway!

We had a wonderful vacation here and would definitely return when we get the chance. The house was spotless, and the layout was perfect for our needs. It was peaceful and secluded, with little to no traffic, and we even had the pleasure of seeing deer several times! Everything we could want was provided—from a gas grill to bicycles, and the short walk to the beach led to breathtaking sunsets. Communication with Jessica was fast and extremely helpful throughout our stay.

Amazing family stay at Emerald Isle

The week had everything. We cooked meals, walked to the beach, hosted, played cards, reconnected… and it was all made possible through this amazing home. The stunning kitchen/living room was the perfect hangout area for when we weren’t at the beach. The garden is so stunning, we had many friends stop by including; deer, turtles, herons and other birds, just so much wildlife! Would stay again.

Nice place but won’t go back

The place had character, but the layout was a little awkward (smaller than expected common areas) and we had some cleanliness issues upon arrival that should never happen especially when the fees charged for cleaning and such are so high.

Great family vacation

This was a great vaction for our family, our kids had plenty of room. The owners are very responsive and accomodating. The house is a 5 minute walk to the beach, which has 2 access points. The beach is a more laid back and spread out feeling to it. Everything you need is close by. Will stay here again!

Great Stay at The Point

We had a great stay at this house. It was a lot of room for our family to spread out. The house was fully equipped with beach toys, beach chairs, grill, fire pit, etc. The house was clean and decorated well.

A Great Place to Stay!

"Here Comes the Sun" is a wonderful home to stay in on Emerald Ise. The place was very clean and met all of our expectations. The garage is full of things for the beach and things to have fun with at the house. My fiancé and I stayed in the bottom living area while my cousin and his family stayed in the top. We found both living areas to be more than adequate for our total of 7 guests. The walk to the beach is minimal, though crossing the dunes can be hard on your knees! The beach at The Point is the biggest beach I think I have ever seen, and the crowd is very minimal even in mid June. I would highly recommend this property and would love to go back myself ASAP!

Great for multigenerational vacation

Plenty of room for 3 generations to have space todo their thing, and be together for meals, movies and games. Lots of wildlife and quick walk to the beach. We love it here.

Great Beach Fun

The house was well stocked and was just as listed in the pictures. It had everything we needed and more. It was a super easy walk to a great beach! We did not mind all the stairs; we enjoyed some separation between the youth boys (downstairs) and girls (upstairs) - only thing to add is bring your own K-cups for coffee. Would definitely recommend

Amazing home in a perfect location!

We had a great time with three generations spending quality time together. The house was clean, well stocked with everything you need, and with plenty of room (4 bathrooms plus the outdoor shower)! We highly recommend this house. Its in a more quiet neighborhood within 7 min walk to a beautiful beach (2 beaches). Its by the bike path as well. The owner was super responsive and we had an amazing time. Thanks Jessica!

Great place!

Wow! Great place to vacation with family! Loved the location, the property manager is amazing and friendly, and there are a lot of games and stuff at the home for family's and their children to use. We had a lovely time there!

I have traveled to the Point of Emerald Isle since the early 1980s to our family's beach home and have always felt it to be my favorite beach getaway. With its calmness from the world, a very peaceful area to get away from the world and relax. The deer, the beautiful large beaches, the fish, the shells, all make this place our piece of heaven. This property holds a special part of my life, as it came at a time I needed a change in my life. My father lost his battle to cancer and always loved the Point. This was my opportunity to build a new for my family in his honor. He was a huge Beatles fan, so in his memory Here Comes the Sun was named.

There are so many beautiful features that make this property more special as it holds the character of its original space with the wooded beams. Having two separate living spaces gives renters the option of having some space from others if needed and allows for more guests.
