We enjoyed our stay at Emerald Isle. It is our go to place to stay when traveling to PCB. The unit was clean and very nice! Helen was very easy to work with. The large balcony is always my favorite part of the condo! We will definitely return!

Love the overall property, but communication with the host was disappointing. I reached out before arrival asking about the coffee maker so I knew what to pack, and never received a response. During the stay, I reported a leak from either the dishwasher or garbage disposal that flooded part of the kitchen, and again received no reply.There was no welcome book in the unit with amenities, rules, or the Wi-Fi code. While this information was in her welcome email, it’s not always convenient to rely on a phone — something should be provided in the unit.Upon checkout, I received an email addressed to “dear (guest, first name),” which made it clear the host didn’t even know who had just stayed in her property. She also suggested booking outside of Vrbo next time, which felt inappropriate.The unit itself is nice but needs some TLC, including a clogged drain in the second bedroom bathroom.

After carefully reviewing our emails, text messages, and Vrbo message history, we found no messages regarding the coffee maker or the reported kitchen leak. The only communication we received during the checkout process was the requested departure text. Had we been made aware of these concerns during the stay, we would have welcomed the opportunity to address them. We appreciate your suggestion about providing a printed welcome book and will take it into consideration. We also take property maintenance seriously and appreciate feedback that helps us maintain a comfortable experience for our guests. Thank you again for staying with us.

What a lovely place to stay

The property itself was very well maintained, the staff were excellent, the condo itself was very clean and spaceport and had everything we needed for a 10 night stay.

Amazing but the beach water was too rough for little kids but that’s no one’s fault. Thank goodness we had the pools

Summer vacation

Clean well run. Very friendly. Best we have been in for awhile. Beach was very clean and pretty. Condo was located in quieter part of town.Will probably consider returning in future

Nice Condo

Condo was very clean and exactly as pictures showed, with the exception of the guest bathtub which was remodeled with a nice walk in shower! It was great having front row beach chairs every day! I would come back to this condo.

The Property was awesome.

Very Clean... pics are very current....the only drawback was the umbrella service....you physically have to get up at 8am every morning at go by tiki hut to check in before you can put towels on chair....every where I've ever stayed clipped your name to the chairs...it was a pain but still a beautiful vacation....condo was great!

Rough start but great stay overall

Reviewer Comments: Condo was not cleaned properly when we arrived but Helen responded quickly and the owner of cleaning company came quickly and completely recleaned condo. The battery on the door lock died and we were locked out around 8pm one night, but Helen responded immediately and got us back in very quickly! So no issue at all. Condo was great and the beach is very close and easily accessible from unit. No long walkways, etc. We really enjoyed the stay and would rent from Helen again.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This condo was conveniently located right outside elevators, which for all nights except Saturday was great! Saturday is a high check in day and was very busy late at night, but pools were not as busy! The balcony was great to enjoy with your guest and great view of beach and ocean. I washed the plates and utensils before using after seeing rust in the dishwasher- but was no worries after buying some paper plates. Beach service was nice, but would suggest bringing your own canopy and chairs if you want space between you and the next family. Great condo and will stay again!

Almost Perfect

The unit shows well, in pictures. Reality is outdoor furniture excludes lounge chairs, and deck cushions were iffy. Kitchen had nice new appliances, while we wouldn't use existing pots and pans. Couch looked comfy in pictures, in reality cushions were done. Beds were comfortable, while dresser drawers were in need of repair. Overall location and building amenities were, are great, unit could use some attention to detail.

Perfect……

Wonderful condo. My favorite place to stay so far; Emerald Isle Resort is perfect. Complimentary beach chairs with rooms. Enough pool space for everyone; not crowded! We grilled steaks without a problem on the gas grills by the pool. There are plenty of elevators and parking was not an issue. Ladies in the office were very friendly and helpful. Wi-Fi was good. AC worked great! The condo was well kept and just as pictured. When we got to the room, the curtain rod was bent so I emailed the property manager. Maintenance was there a couple hours later and repaired it. Not one complaint from me.

Worst vacation EVER!!!

Do not go to this property if you have preteens or teenagers! Our children were verbally harassed by security several times. My 12 year old and his friend were wearing the mandatory wristbands for the property and still accused of not staying there and lying to security. We were then evicted from the property by the security officer and 2 police officers at 8 pm on Friday night while eating diner because someone allegedly spit over the balcony. We had 20 minutes to pack up and leave or we would have been arrested. Helen never responded to our texts or calls and still hasn’t done so!

We had the best time staying here! The view was amazing. Even got my sisters fiancé to finally walk on the balcony (he’s terrified of heights) we loved all the patio furniture tooWe did have a lot of sand all over the counters and outside furniture when we arrived & dishes in the cabinets were filthy but it was a quick fix for us

The property was exactly as pictured and described. In fact it was better. The condo was well furnished with everything we needed. The furniture was comfortable and even the balcony furniture was well thought out with 3 types of seating. The view was incredible. Things that most people don't normally mention in reviews are water pressure and how well the ac unit works. I have stayed it many properties in which neither were good. That is not the case here. The water pressure was excellent and the ac kept the condo as cool as we needed. As far as the host, Karen was wonderful. She quickly responded to any questions we had. We arrived an hour early after not considering the time change for us and she allowed us to to check in early which was so appreciated after our long drive. We will definitely try and stay here again on our next trip down and highly recommend for anyone headed to Panama City Beach!

Wonderful property

This is our second time renting from this host. Both properties were exactly as pictured and communication with her is fabulous. I really recommend her and her properties.
