Friday Haus is a pioneer style log cabin that was built in 1850. Located just a half block off West Main Street this gem boasts historic construction and has plenty of Fredericksburg charm! Two cozy bedrooms, both with Queen beds offer plenty of space for four guests. A full kitchen complete with full size refrigerator, stove, coffee pot and microwave provide just the space needed to stay in and enjoy your meals. After a long day of exploring our charming town, come back and take a soak in the relaxing clawfoot tub (w/ hand held shower), or enjoy the hot tub out back! ***** Rates for this property are based on double occupancy, additional persons beyond 2 will be charged $35 per person per night
- Quiet Time is from 10:00 pm to 7:00 am, per City Ordinance
- If we are called due to complaints violating Quiet Time:
1st Offense will result in a $250 fine.
2nd Offense will result in a $500 fine.
If police are called, you are responsible for any fines or fees issued with the citation or warning. If police are called there will be a $500 fine, even if no citation is issued.

This property is restored well and really cute. It is also maintained well and very clean. It is close to all the places you want to be in Fredericksburg. But you need to be a bathtub person.

quaint cabin

this was a quaint little cabin with a modern 2 bedroom extension attached to the back of this historic cabin. We realy enjoyed the cabin and the modern extenion was great for sleeping.

adorable little house

great little house, amazing history, everything was clean and fresh, comfy beds, slept great , peaceful street only a couple of blocks from all the restaurants and shops. Hot tub could have been cleaner, maybe had been forgotten-lots of leaves and debris in it but a minor thing I guess. otherwise a great stay !

A step back in history with a modern touch

My friend and I loved the history this home held, along with the modern flare. The location is great for downtown shopping and restaurants. We noticed some minor cleaning issues, like behind the furniture in the living room (we weren't looking for issues, but noticed). Also, be aware the roof is tin, and the falling acorns can make weird noises at night. That being said, we would be happy to stay here again.

Friday Haus- Timeless Gem

My wife and I really enjoyed our stay at Friday Haus. It was just as advertized online but maybe better. Thank you so much for sharing such a unique home with us. The history and proximity to all the shops and fesrivities downtown was fantastic!

This property was well maintained on the inside, but the outside needs a lot of work, especially the back porch. Boards were rotting very badly.

Friday Haus - A Very Special Place

Friday Haus is a very special place that exceeded my expectations. This one of the most charming places I have ever stayed. The living room is a very comfortable yet original 1851 log cabin. The house is laid out into two seamlessly connecting wings. One comprised a living room, a spacious dining room, and a fully equipped kitchen with a full-sized drip coffee maker. A short hallway to the right from the kitchen connects to two spacious queen bedrooms and a bathroom with a claw foot tub. The house was really comfortable for our group of four with excellent climate control from two separate zoned units. Every room in the house was beautifully curated with antiques and items of interest. I loved the sound of rain on the tin roof on the night of our arrival. Bathing choices are a little different. The claw foot tub has a short wand but has no shower. A large private outdoor shower with a rain shower head proved to be a bit low pressure but is serviceable. This city lot is surrounded by mature oaks and pecan trees. Three cars could park off the street with ease here. A fire pit with four very comfortable chairs outside and gas grill makes for a great place to lounge in the evening under the stars. I loved looking up at the blue sky in the morning and hearing the birds sing while I showered. Perfectly maintained hot tub was much appreciated but a bit too hot for me. It is usable but one really has to ease into a 109-degree hot tub that seemed to be preset. Since we were at the end of a longer trip, a washer and dryer would have been appreciated. Peeling paint and slight water damage at the exterior rear of the house mattered little to us. Just read the guest register books in the old trunk in the living room, and you will see that this place has touched the hearts of many. It touched ours too. This little house that is much bigger than it looks may have been my favorite part of our three-night Fredericksburg experience.

Needed rest

the stay was fantastic. The house is very clean and within walking distance of several restaurants and shopping. There are several state parks in the area for hiking as well.

Loved Friday Haus

This place was cute, cozy, and comfortable. We really wish the weather had cooperated a little to allow us to use the hot tub and porch area. But we would definitely stay here again.

Little piece of heaven

We so enjoyed our cabin and hot tub and wonderful tub inside . Having the outside shower nextn to hot tub was great . Comfortable beds and furniture too . Loved we could walk to town to exercise as well as to eat at German and American restaurants Sight seeing/. Shopping was amazing . Loved police presence in town we felt it was very safe . Went to wineries, beautiful parks , and watched bats emerge from the old train tunnel . Very educational experience with my husband of 48 yrs will come visit again . Want to come on weekend as we love music

Great little cabin

I chose this cabin because it is within walking distance to main street but, it has so much more to offer. The cabin is so charming, the beds were comfortable and LOVED the outdoor shower! Would definitely stay here again! TY
