This historic craftsman house has just been updated with a brand new gourmet kitchen (wolf range) that opens to large dining room and living room deck. The views are amazing as the house sits on one of the best beaches in Santa Cruz, Seabright Beach. The classic and stylish house has been remodeled with modern amenities and provides deluxe atmosphere unmatched by most other vacation rentals.

Built in 1928, the 2-story house sits on a corner lot with 3600 square feet of living space. The house has a detached 2-car garage, 5 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, kitchen with white statutorio marble counter tops and stainless steel appliances, hot tub, basement with pool/ping pong table, separate TV room with 85" HDTV, large living room and dining room with expansive beach views.

Master bedroom on second floor has an incredible view of the beach/pier and brand new deck. Kids room has a cal king bed with twin loft with stairs that lead up to an attic where they can hang out and watch the waves at pleasure point or slide down the fire pole!

You are just a few steps from the beach and a few minutes by foot from the Santa Cruz boardwalk and pier.

Fantastic location and house. Terrific host- clear, fast communication. Lots of well thought out spaces for large and small groups to relax. Large bedrooms, nice beds and linens. Kitchen was well stocked and a pleasure to cook in.

We were once again lucky enough to stay at Seabright. And once again the it did not disappoint! Our family had the best vacation and cant wait to stay again!

Our family, three generations, had a fabulous time at this lovely home. Well-stocked with everything you need including entertainment for the kids (and adults.) Easy beach access, short walk to the Boardwalk, and also wonderful if you just want to stay at home and look at the views. You will not want for anything at this beautiful home. The host, Gabriela, is very easy to access and very responsive.

Amazing Place!

We had the most wonderful stay at Vistamar with our children and grandkids! The house is beyond beautiful, and kept up so nice. We were very impressed. Can’t wait to go back again!

Amenities in great condition. New kitchen and floor plan changes excellent. Relocation of kitchen greatly improves the social space and the new dining deck is an excellent added amenity. We love this place and hope to stay again!

I would highly recommend this beautiful home. The views are just breathtaking and location is literally on the beach! I have never stayed at a nicer vacation rental. All the amenities you could want.

Great Location Great House

We had a great time, house is wonderful, great location. Kitchen is amazing and super well stocked with everything you need dishes and cooking tools. Large living areas perfect for a family and friends gathering. Host is wonderful!

We had the best time at this home. It was a family vacation of three generations. Location, view and cleanliness was amazing. Amenities were perfect for us. We will definitely be back!

This home was an awesome place to spend Christmas with family. Perfect for all ages, including our parents(85-87 years old)! The view is absolutely amazing! Gabriela provided very thorough, quick responses to any requests! Hope to return someday!

The best house on the best beach got even better

If you are going to Santa Cruz, Seabright Beach is the best - a great vibe and easy access to everything. No place else can you wake up to the sea lions, walk to the harbor, lunch on the pier, and enjoy the Boardwalk - all in the same day without taking your car out of the garage. If you are going to Seabright Beach, this is the best house period. We have rented four different homes in Seabright over the years, three multiple times (including here) and they are all great in their own way. But Gabriela's house is GREAT.

One of those homes you dream about buying one day

We had the most lovely time in this house. 9 of us in total and there was more than enough space for us all to spread out. We never left the house other than to visit the beach. The kitchen was ready to cook for a crowd. We BBQ’d, snuggled up for movies and talked about how we wished we lived there. Our host was so accommodating and her communication was 12/10. We will most definitely return to make more memories.

Perfect Home to Celebrate our 50th Anniversary

This home has Everything we wanted and delivered above our expectations. Gabriela was so responsive and easy to communicate with. Large rooms , Large kitchen and steps to the beach and the lower level from the gaming basement that leads to a third patio with the hot tub easily access for parking. Thank you Gabriela, this was the Beach I met my husband on when we were 14 years old, now bringing 3 generations to this Home on OUR Beach made our 50th Anniversary perfect. Family wants to come back every year now to your Amazing Home.

Best Christmas Ever

Ten of us from two families had the best Christmas in this wonderful home next to Seabright Beach. Some of us had stayed here a few years ago and were very happy with our visit then. The remodel took it to the next level. The new kitchen and other improvements were very well designed and implemented. Everything is professionally maintained, well stocked, and done with style. Combined with the sounds of the crashing surf and the warmth of the hot tub, life’s stresses melt away. Worth every penny!

Best time ever

Best time ever as you know Gabrielle this house has meant so much to our family for the many vacations we’ve had there. It felt like home walking into the house such a wonderful feeling and feeling all of the memories of the past. We made some new memories that we won’t forget and thank you for always being the perfect hostess Gabriella hello if they find a pair of glasses reading glasses that are Gucci my daughter left them there and we would be willing to pay for them to send them to us if you could have the housekeepers check that would be wonderful thank you

This property was great. The views, sounds and access to the beach were awesome. It is so nice to be able to easily go back and forth to the beach. The outdoor shower with the lower spout for feet washing was very convenient.The kitchen was huge and had everything we needed to cook. The bathrooms were nice. The rooms were a good size with comfy beds.The owner was very nice and easy to get a hold of.We had a wonderful stay and can’t wait to go back.

Gabriela is an amazing host! Very thorough and thoughtful. The Big Blue House is just gorgeous—exceeded our expectations! All the design details, high-end finishes and views for days. Home is well organized and exceptionally clean! It was a privilege to stay here :)

The house is beautiful and it's located on the beach.

We have stayed in this home for many years and we have enjoyed the house every time we go. It's the perfect location. There are many restaurants nearby. It's a great place to stay for a family.
